i have read somewhere in the comments of this game that some have criticized the fact that the new Assassin's Creed character is an African Samurai is not a Japanese Samurai like for example the game Ghotst Of Tsushima. I myself would not like to be critical in this matter, but i would consider this a tribute and a privilege for Japanese culture. For example, the Bi Han and Kuai Liang of the game Mortal Kombat are not Ninjas, like, for example, Hanzo Hasashi is Japanese
⚔️⚔️⚔️🥷🥷🥷🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵
At least Ghost of Tsushima are respectful for the japanese people
Are you white or Japanese? Because most people talking bad about yasuke is white or not from japan what about nioh that guy was a white person in nobody was getting mad
@@Retro-Design-4033 i am asian as same as japanese people and i hate because of this is the first main assasin game that set in Asia but you only play as african at least you choose the female one that not everyone want to play as women and the Nioh game are completely 100% fantasy fiction they just use sengoku as the setting and yasuke in that game are more make sense
If they want a true diversity in the game why they just choose the native japanese people like ainu to be the main character in this game like the did in assasin 3 not only more interesting but it can make a good diversity represent too or their diversity is just only black people or something ?
@@gamergangtalk0080 Listen up! It's crucial to grasp that being Asian doesn't automatically equate to being Japanese. This misconception needs to stop! Yasuke, a historical figure, was black and known as the black demon in Japan due to his towering height. He wasn't a samurai, but a fierce warrior who instilled fear in many. Legends say he could defeat ten men at once and was stronger than twenty, though likely exaggerated. Despite not being a samurai, Yasuke was undeniably one of the most intimidating warriors of his time. His association with a Shinobi in the game further emphasizes his non-samurai status, as it would have been dishonorable during his era in Japan. Yasuke, the black demon, was a force to be reckoned with and rightfully earned his title as one of Japan's most feared warriors. The mystery surrounding him only adds to his allure, making him a captivating character for Assassin's Creed. This fits perfectly with the game's goal of allowing players to relive historical events by time-traveling.

We know that ghost of Tsushima is a good looking game.
We also know that Ubisoft is extremely notorious for having good cinematics but then also huge downgrades.
I feel ashamed that Last of Us Part 2 won Game of the Year instead of Ghost of Tsushima.
Agreed
Ghost of Tsushima is overrated and casual af.
TLOU 2 is GOTY 2020, deal with it
It won the one that mattered players voice
Just like TLOU 2@@ninetails625
Honestly nothing will ever beat Jin Sakai…. He’s just him. Ghost of Tsushima 2 is going to be a litteral masterpiece.
Spoken like a True Samurai,
Bro is HIM.
Man, if only we got him as the Japanese Assassin. Smh.
@@vipergaming7078 ironic because Jin abandoned the way of Samurai
@@N_Tertainment7 I was referring to the original commenter not Jin
A real samurai game Vs a fake non Asian samurai game made by the west 😂
To be fair Ghost was made by a western developer. The difference one respected the Japanese culture while the other didn't.
@@izumolee6714shut up Korean
Well ac shadows female protagonist potrayal didn't look like actual Japanese but in case of tsushima every character portrayal is Japanese
ua-cam.com/video/3YxmfT6oPYo/v-deo.htmlsi=lCmMDGRyKs-VGAr9. Similar and deferent
That's the advantage
All the women at Ghost of Tsushima looked older than 60. That's about the only complaint I have.
ua-cam.com/video/3YxmfT6oPYo/v-deo.htmlsi=BLQAu6PBbIxWLs41 comparison of ghost of Tsushima
I've seen Japanese that look like her
Am I the only one who thinks the women in AC looks closer to Native American not japanese?
She might be Ainu
No you are not the only one. I complained how none of the protagonists look anything like Japanese. She almost looks like she comes from the Philippines.
I can see it. But from other angles she looks Japanese. It's odd
Those "Native" Americans are Asians anyway.
Yes you are the only one. lol
Ubisoft is known for making breathtaking Trailers and Teasers but underdelivering when it comes to the game itself, so I don't have any expectations of AC: Shadows reaching the same level of immersion and storytelling like Ghost Of Tsushima.
remember when ubisoft teasing ac japan after black flag, but instead was ac unity france?
now after tsushima: too little too late
I, personally, think AC Shadows will be superior, and I don't mind the delay. They have the benefit of learning from the Ghost game, and Ronin game, along with a massive budget to make the map larger and spectacular.
@@DJ-ru4im the massive budget only for trailer and microtransaction. and insufficient for the rest of gameplay
What a hyprocrite! You guys want AC Japan, but when it comes, you say it's too late. lmao
@@Fem-dp9we "Wanted" AC Japan. Wanted. Back when it was actually unique.
what the fuc* ubishit never learning kid. ubisoft low and mid as*fuc*
The best part of the AC Shadows trailer was Ubisoft asking for pre-orders without showcasing any gameplay.
That's the kind of greed that would make even DSP blush.
Ubisoft was motivated by Ghoat of Tsushima thats why they decided to create an AC feual Japan game hehe. Need a gameplay trailer next!
no, they planned this title so many years before
@lifestyle8544 Yes but they were ignorant back in that time until Ghost of Tsushima proved to the world western studios can make an open world game set in feudal Japan.
black guy samurai in edo japan... wtf were ubisoft just thinking???
They are thinking inclusivity! ✊🏽
It's only one black guy mate. Boats exist
Bro this “Black Guy” was actually a historical figure. Personally I actually like this idea. It would extremely cool to play as a historical figure in an open world game like AC.
He was a former slave who was set free and became a samurai under the lord who set him free I believe the cinematic is true and the oda clan was the clan he served under?
@@mohammedmaazsiddiqui8598he was never a samurai 🤡 some fake western propaganda and devilish acts like always trying to colonize Asian culture and history
Who else knew this comparison was coming?
👇
i think the reason why they made the samurai character different is that they didn’t want to directly copy Jin Sakai. Still i’ll get it as i’m interested will the mongols be the templars i wonder or aid them?

I hope shadows turns out good
i hope so too
Highly doubt it. I heard that Sweet Baby Inc is involved with this game. Which sucks since they ruined the Suicide Squad game.
same...
@@ethanschaeffer7718oh nooo, are you serious?
Another always online game from Ubisoft
I am looking forward for more comparison between these two games in terms of aesthetics, gameplay, and details.
I am hoping for Assassin's Creed Shadows to make better game than previous installments, but many people do not have faith at it. I'd say we will see when the gameplay trailer appears. The only thing I like the Shadows more than Tsushima for now is more exploration and its map is going to be bigger than the latter's because it set in mainland.
Tsushima is based on the Mongol invasion of Japan, in a parallel shadow portraying civil war in japan.
Additionally Ubisoft focus on big map with large boaring story line in contrast rockstar and sucker punch pressure on combat -gameplay mechanics and fantastic storytelling.
Both CGI and real-time gameplay of Ghost are great.
Here come again Afrika samuria
Not surprised that is Ubisoft game !
Last see how it turns out
can someone mod hooded outfits into ghost of tsushima? that would be awesome
Assassins creed without the hidden blades , I'm all in for it!
Only on PC
Assassin's Creed Shadows vs Rise of Ronin
Hope they go back to roots or so
1 minute and already the spam bots invade. Anyway. now watching the video ^^
ok
Ubisoft make only cinematic 😂
ツシマは神ゲー
Well I enjoy all assassin's creed games and I'm highly expectant with this new release
ubisoft has more budget soooo
I want Mariko Sama mod for the girl protagonist.
AC Shadows is going to suffer because it'll be compared to GOT , which was an amazing game and im pretty sure Shadows will be mid at best like most ubisoft games
Dont see the point in having a black samurai?..... they could have Yasuke as someone you interact with instead of play as . Also, the woman shinobi doesnt look Japanese to me, she looks more native american
Ninja....???...
Like this if you believe Ghost of Tsushima is the "REAL" Assassin's Creed game set in Japan........
i don't care others thoughts on ac shadows , ubi made my childhood buy it without hesitation we can't decide it from trailer
Copium
Agreed. I, personally, think AC Shadows will be superior too. They have the benefit of learning from the Ghost game, and Ronin game, along with a massive budget to make the map larger and spectacular.
Ubisoft's director of subscriptions, said that gamers should be
“comfortable with not owning” their games.
Sounds your okay with being in a abusive relationship
@@DJ-ru4im thus the endless cycle continues
i think ghost of T the best game, i dont know if play the assassin series make me borred
Ubisoft dropped the balls I was so excited for this but now I will say it's indifferent I'm neither excited and neither do I hate it will wait for the gameplay now.
And so the comparisons begin 🙄
whatever game come ghost of tsushima is goat
Hilarious how ubisoft needs to make a cgi cinemtaic trailer to match ghost of thushima gameplay graphics .what a fail
Apparently Ubisoft spend 80% of the AC Shadows budget just for this cinematic trailer
I am asian and i am offended! This is cultural appropriation.
To be fair, the black dude is a historical figure but I don’t think they’re going to tell the story right
@@inkyfreddy3539true. Yasuke was a historical figure. Only difference is that here he is portrayed as a samurai when in reality he just carried weapons for the samurai.
GOT is the best it's historically accurate what about AC Shadows? Guess it's 50% inaccurate and 50% accurate

Dog Shit Vs Masterpiece - Early Cinematics Comparison
said by dog shit
Ghost of Tsushima the most decent game in the gaming world
@@kevingoodman257 Ghost of Tsushima is a Masterpiece of game for only a budget of $60 million
@@vipergaming7078it’s fine for the most part. Beat act 1 and unlocked all the stances in about 9 hours then just got kinda bored
@@WinterWolf_Edits Well if you are more into storyline games and don't seem to enjoy gameplay then it's justified maybe try totally story driven games instead of open world/rpg
At this point we all know that Ubi$oft' RPG just suck. Their idea of open world is freaking huge empty world with question mark all over the map. Aint nothing fun about that. Honestly this is do or die for Ubi$oft, and they just choose to stick with RPG route, instead of linear route like Mirage, just show how lost they are with what fans want. I enjoy Mirage a lot more than that bored fest Valhalla. But I guess at the end of the day, money talks. Aint no way you can sell MTX well with linear game, to make the game profitable you need to invest in good story, good gameplay, and good character. With huge empty open world, you just need to make it look pretty, huge, with crazy level gating, people will buy MTX like mad
Edit just looked at the pre-order bonuses, all those hideout pack and skill point just scream "Disaster". People who support Ubi$oft still have mental problem lmao
Woke Ubisoft
all for inclusivity but a black samurai and a native american japanese female ninja okay looks like ubisoft checked all the boxes here lol
