Beautiful edit!! Your Mary Tudor tributes are always so amazing!💗 The transitions, colors and effects are so good! This edit truly makes you pity her and everything what happened to this little girl😔 Even if she went through so much she always remained strong♥️ It’s sad that we remember her for only one thing (burning protestants). We should remember Mary more as a kind, beautiful and strong lady who suffered under the hands of her father. We should also remember her reign more. Her reign wasn’t only based on burning people, she also did many other great things for England during her reign, but we tend to sadly forget that. I hope Mary knows how much we love her and always remember her!❤️
Mary is one of my absolute favorite royal british figure along with Richard III. I don't think I'll have enough space here to write how much of a complex, interesting and underrated queen she was. I also never had the time to tell you how much I adore this video and keep coming back to it every now and then ❤️ It has been a HUGE inspiration for my own video about the sultanas of the ottoman empire with the very same song. Truly beautiful, thank you 🩷
@@GlanceOfPast I'm glad you like it. it's always a pleasure to find people that appreciate Mary's tragetory. Thank you very much. I love the Ottoman Empire as well so, i need to watch your video asap 🥺❤️
@@Tudleyn Oh of course! as someone who've been watching your videos for awhile and that is new in the fan vid world that would be an honor for me to have your feedback on it!!
what a beautifully crafted tribute! you used so well the different footage, different ages of mary, the different aspects of her life to portray her in your video. i got chills watching this. the text, colors, and whole style as well is perfectly on point too. wow! 💚
oh izabel, this is such a powerful tribute for mary and all the obstacle she had to face. and the fact that you used so many portrayals of her at different ages/stages of her life makes it even more interesting to watch! as for your editing, flawless as always! 0:47 with young!mary's "I'm not afraid" & 1:42 with her posture gave me little chills also the parallel between be!mary and tt!mary while talking about the threat of her head being bashed against the wall is so well found and truly links the different version of mary even more together! and that whole part between 1:52 and 2:20 about traitors, omg! you put it together so well too ; it indeed seems to be "in the blood" like the lyrics say
This edit is soo emotional , first she was discriminated due to her gender , then due to her lower status and finnally due to her beliefs ...... Mary Tudor , the daughter of Queen Catalina De Argon and Castile and the granddaughter of Queen Isabella of Portugal , the blood of various powerful royal European dynasties flowed through her veins and similar to her mother and grandmother , she devoted her life to Catholicism and service of her people . A poem on her memory , written by me ; a mere 15 years old below average poetess : *Oh , my determined Queen* *The storms of miseries befell upon you at a tender age ,* *Yet you stood dauntingly before it like an evergreen tree .* *Oh , my unfortunate Queen* *The suffering never left you till the end of your life ,* *Yet you embraced your pain graciously like a true devotee of God* *Oh , my beautiful Queen* *This ugly world belittled and doubted you at every single stance ,* *Yet you compassionately pardoned their sins .* *Oh , my devout Queen* *You till the dusk of your life;* *devoted every second in the worship of lord* *And the service of your people .* *Oh , my Queen Mary Tudor* *Unfortunately , the eyes of this mortal world were blinded by ignorance ;* *And their judgement , clouded by biasness ,* *Yet you never gave up the path of truth till the end ,* *For tormented people like you the paradise is created ,* *Let the fair judgement of God bless your soul with liberation .* *Mary Tudor , a Queen in earth , now a Queen in heaven . @@Tudleyn Your edit surely deserves appreciation but I can't say the same for my poem though , I am not sure how it is ...... This poem just suddenly came from my heart because I wanted to honour my Queen .....
@@jagritikumari4012 Don't say that. Your poem is beautiful ❤️ remind me of the speak of John White on Mary's funeral: "She was a King’s daughter, she was a King’s sister, she was a King’s wife. She was a Queen, and by the same title a King also. . . What she suffered in each of these degrees before and since she came to the crown I will not chronicle; only this I say, howsoever it pleased God to will her patience to be exercised in the world, she had in all estates the fear of God in her heart . . . she had the Love, Commendation and Admiration of all the World. In this church she married herself to the realm, and in token of faith and fidelity, did put a ring with a diamond on her finger, which I understand she never took off after, during her life . . . she was never unmindful or uncareful of her promise to the realm. She used singular mercy towards offenders. She used much pity and compassion towards the poor and oppressed. She used clemency amongst her nobles. . . she restored more noble houses decayed than ever did prince of this realm, or I did pray God ever shall have the like occasion to do hereafter."

I love Sarah Bolger's portrayal but I have to admit, Romola Garai ate the role and left no crumbs.
