Just watched GNS talking about how they will be adding bandits in one of the upcoming updates to the vanilla game. But the modders have had bandits in the game for years already. They really should have hired guys like Kane and Killer Bunny to improve their game.
The Fun Pimps have been holding off on bandits for the last couple years. It's been taking forever for them to be implemented. They didn't want them added to the game until they could do it properly, I believe they said in a developer stream.
I watched the same thing and with the other games they're working on, I think bandits are gonna be a DLC (they wanted to wait till after 1.0) or it's going to be an entirely different game. I'm getting vibes of what TWD did to their fans. Just because they hold off on so many improvements that the modders been doing for a long time.

I'd like to do an overhaul, the one I've spent the most time in is Darkness Falls, the one I've died the most in is Apocalypse Now. And I'm in the process of starving to death in Afterlife. I've done some Wild West but the mandatory Day 1 feral is getting old with that one. I don't mod myself so I'm relying on the actual modders. Do you have any suggestions as to which mod to try to not die in next? There are soooo many!
Depending on when you finish Exile, I doubt Undead Legacy or Apocalypse Now will be out. So, possibly at least try out Rebirth. I think Rebirth is tougher than Darkness Falls, but a lot of fun. At least for me I find it challenging for a lot longer.

Yes, anything Fallout is often of interest to survival players, especially what I have been hearing of The Wasteland Mod. I hope to get to it one day. My current plan is some Rebirth guides. After that I have been meaning to get back to Darkness Falls. There is also the chance before the end of 2024 Undead Legacy and Apocalypse Now may release. Sigh, so many mods to cover, so little time.
@@SnowBee Im sure youre doing a good job but try to include in your guides some things related to what version it is now. Like what has been added, what is currently in this version as of recording etc,etc. It helps future proofing your guides so that if someone comes in from lets say a year from now, it's a valuable guide for people to know whats new when they see it and much is changed from the past.

Also, very few new overhaul mods left. Still, there is still lots to say about existing mods, but those I will take on in individual videos for various mods. There is still a vanilla update that is supposed to be out before the end of the year. I wonder where that is.
Starting a Rebirth playthrough this week and it is a doozy. First spawning is particularly harsh compared to the usual beginning. Keen to see how it shakes out overall.
I saw the Silent Hill one and it is tempting to play. But I am still a firm Resident Evil lover and boy would I love a Resident Evil overhaul one that is of RE2/3 kind of thing
Yeah, I assume you are not that keen on the Spenser Mansion Incident mod? It is not really playing like 7 Days to Die with crafting, etc,. So I think some players are not so fond of it? However, it is a great mod for what it is trying to achieve.

I understand. The closest option you have is the Frantic Mansion Challenge. Same dev, but he creates a vanilla experience challenge around the Mansion. You need to do something similar like the Dishong Tower Challenge, just in and around the Spenser Mansion. Besides the POI, there is nothing Resident Evil about it. Otherwise, unfortunately, no. There isn't a resident evil related mod. :(

@mainbreaker1246 Yeah, still waiting. It is certainly still in progress. Just we haven't had any updates since the parkour update which was months ago. Since then the dev has mainly worked on skills and armour, but has not officially released any information.
Interesting things happening, Fingers crossed this is for real a final vanilla structure from TFP as big changes that break mods is a huge downer. As always, You are the go to for what's what in the apocalypse. 🧟♂🧟♀🧟🚨

Only thing that let me down about 1.0 Darkness Falls, I can safely kite the last new boss, even on Warrior/sprint and deal with wandering hordes and screamers. Just do not let him/her hug you. J.k. about letting me down. The core game allows for abusing of AI by jumping, and without Hell on Earth balancing DF gets easy.
Yeah, I honestly sometimes wish Darkness Falls would not release to the public when in experimental. It is so popular that many play it, but already there is an update out that breaks saves. Many more to come. So the advantage of getting and playing it early is the fun and being able to play it at long last. Just it has so many issues that need to be fixed still. Well, hopefully it was not too bad a playthrough?
Unfortunately not. I did mention it right at the end. I only said hopefully UL and AN will both be out before the end of 2024. I know that SQ is working on UL and is certainly spending a lot of time on it. However, we have not had any new feature updates yet. He has been working on skills and armour recently. Hopefully he will bring out some news soon.

I had Down Loaded this Updated Version, and After it took forever to load.. Some Other Screen POPPED up, like and Admin Menu. Bunch of Scripting stuff.. once I closed it then the Mod would never Load. And Now. I deleted it, and tried again.. and Now.. I can NOT Even Find Darkness Falls on the Mod Launcher Anywhere? I have NO Idea WTH happened.. How can a MOD vanish from the Launcher??? This " WAS" My Fav Mod too.
Well, It would only be available for the old Alpha 21.2. Darkness Falls is not released yet on the Mod Launcher. Khaine never releases it for experimental, so you can expect it in a few weeks on the Mod Launcher once stable comes.

So I can't put the link on it will change every week for the latest version. Just use the discord. I have someone who is going to manage my links and discord info on my discord for the future. PLS, DUE ABAOUT ESCAPE FROM TARKOV MOD How do I start the game once I have installed all the files in the Mods folder of the game? Doesn't the mod come with its own launcher to start it? I'm starting the game (v 1.1 b14 stable) with the normal launcher of the vanilla game, and the mod doesn't run or anything, I don't understand what's going on. I have also checked the game files and there is no error.
No mods come with their own launcher. There is a mod launcher that allows you to start some mods, including EFT. So you can use that if you wish, I tend to promote manual installation. Here is my manual installation guide for Alpha 21, however, it does work for version 1 as well. Things slow down when there are no updates. I was planning to do a end year one in December, but got sick, then my wife and daughter got sick after me, so I announced on my discord that I would likely see everyone in the new year. So, I plan to do one now in January, but it is really just a recap and maybe a new mod announcement or so. Besides half the mods moving to version 1.2, nothing much has happened. The same mods that had not released for v1, still have not released.

I completely disagree with you about Rebirth. I've never found anything more frustrating to play so far than this mod. I was playing for 2 hours and couldn't make a simple storage box to hold things in. My character could barely advance, it was truly a miserable experience for a total conversion mod.
Rebirth's dev basically said he wanted to break your desire to build a base early on, so in a sense I think all new Rebirth players should try "The purge" senecio first within the Rebirth Mod, use the storage within a Poi first, I used the traders compound seeing as they have all the crafting stations you need, you just need to find the workstation addons, once you have worked that out you are golden to start producing materials to build your own base. Hope that helps.

Yes, you can play it now, but I would tend to tell people to stay off it until it gets closer to stable. Already we had an update that breaks saves.

It is in experimental. It will not be on the ML during experimental, I don't know if the dev plans to put it on the ML.

Nope, quite a few mods don't add their mods to the ML during experimental. I don't know if Ramsay has plans to add it anytime soon or later.

I completely disagree with you about Rebirth. I've never found anything more frustrating to play so far than this mod. I was playing for 2 hours and couldn't make a simple storage box to hold things in. My character could barely advance, it was truly a miserable experience for a total conversion mod.

Rebirth's dev basically said he wanted to break your desire to build a base early on, so in a sense I think all new Rebirth players should try "The purge" senecio first within the Rebirth Mod, use the storage within a Poi first, I used the traders compound seeing as they have all the crafting stations you need, you just need to find the workstation addons, once you have worked that out you are golden to start producing materials to build your own base.
