God, I'm so in love with the open sea. If there is literally one thing that I'll be genuinely depressed over not experiencing, it's a deep, long dive and catalog of the open sea. It's my dream to live and learn over it. Thanks for sharing this experience. I'm glad that your channel is finally picking up some large traction, and I'm grateful that you're spreading awareness of these incredibly misunderstood animals. You're an amazing person, and I truly love this channel and all the people behind it. I hope this channel goes as far as possible.
I love the calm music and insightful commentary in this video. I really want to get into free diving but sharks and large sea creatures still frighten me. Its very refreshing to hear about interacting with these beautiful animals in a calm environment
Thanks for this one. I have definitely seen the information about how aggressive this particular species of shark is, so it is really great to have you show how different they can be.
I went cage diving (definitely not brave enough to free-dive) in Hawaii… The captain of that boat, only a few months before, on one such trip, spotted a HUGE female Great White. He said he could tell the moment was right, as she was acting curious, and even playful, and he jumped in to swim with her. He spent about 20 minutes in the water with her, before she left to wherever she was off too. There’s a video on UA-cam of it.
its because we been lied to all our lives to fear nature..... we've been living one with nature for thousands of years... all this knowledge was lost and the modern school systems dont teach us the truth
Happy Easter Chris & Gabby! This was so beautiful and fascinating. How long did it take you to train your body to sustain itself on one breath of air? I admire you both and am happy to see the growth of your channel
I go cage diving on the North Shore here. You really get a true appreciation. They are very calculated and graceful. One ocean with Ocean Ramsey is a great shark tour as well.
The balls on this guy are massive!!! This guy is absolutely fearless. Salute, Chris 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 PS- the fact that you can hold your breathe that long is very impressive!!!
AWESOME video!!! Shark biting is actually commonly resulted from mating, as males will typically bite their mates in order to hold onto them while copulating, so this is actually not too rare to see! It could definitely be from potential predation too
Hopefully that hook is not "treated metal", if not the hook will quickly rot away. If you are a angler... do NOT buy anti rust hooks. Sellers advertise it as it costs more... but the reality is, if you get "degradable" hooks (Normal untreated Steel or iron), if you lose a fish, the hooks will quickly rust and disappear without being toxic to the animal or the environment. The line however is a deferent story, if correctly manufactured, it will first become brittle and then turn into micro polymers... which is not good for the environment in large numbers but in small amounts it causes minimal harm, unfortunately the line before it goes brittle can cause a lot of damage. Hopefully the new biodegradable lines improve and replace the polymer ones, reducing their strength and damage they cause after a quicker period. Annoys me when i see animals foul hooked, as 95% of the time is through trawling a line, bad timing on a strike or inadequate knowledge of the target fish/location. Now i am going into personnel preference here, so don't get triggered anglers... But i see little point in Sport fishing nowadays. I will personally go once on a blue moon to hone my skills and catch something to eat, but "Sport" fishing is no longer for me (Was as a kid)... i would rather Snorkel or Scuba with the "sport" instead and is far more "thrilling" and majestic. I am now at a stage in my life where i have come to the conclusion trawling, mass netting and sports fishing are far more detrimental than beneficial. I will however always support responsible and sustainable rod and line for food purposes as it causes far less damage, is also a good and useful ability to know.
@@jimc6687 nope I’m pretty sure this shark had a belly full of fish heads that someone was throwing into the river. They have been seen all the way up to Chicago
Damn man! U r a well educated, experienced, talented person when it comes to these sort of things. I would freak out if I see a mouse hanging around my house lol
A number of bull fatalities have been in clear water. Their electroreception tells them the info they need too. There are far more factors involved, such as territory/nursery zones etc
Somehow no matter how peaceful they appear bull sharks should always, always be given major respect & breaking any of the rules with bull sharks is a no no. They are serious apex predators & will eat you, if conditions are just right.
I mean, yep! I dont think theyd straight up eat you, thats not part of their diet. If they did reach u and you didnt look, they would probably take a curious bite to see how your react (probably die or bleed a lot lmao) & if you are edible. After all, you are a creature that isnt behaving like the rest. I would have to supress my urge to touch their noses when they get close, as itd probably cause a jerk reaction and my hand would end up in its mouth lol
@@nekogaming5300 Humans are not part of a sharks natural diet so to say they will actively hunt you is nonsense . Shark bites are infinitesimally rare on humans .

1. that intro is actually the best thing I have seen in a long while 2. how do crocodiles regrow so much teeth?, like how and where do those teeth come from? (Amazing intro)
I adore Sealife and I admire the sharks...They archaic pretadors and they deserve human's respect. At the same time I have a primitive fear of being in open sea on a boat. It freaks me out....I cant deal with this deep fear even when the waters are calm. Its a loss for me unfortunately. Perhaps that's rooted in a scary experience I have had as a kid on a 100 person's boat. A cruise that happened to end up in a freaky storm. Anyway this video is beautiful. I thank you 💖
Hey:), I thought I saw a little red light on one of the sharks? I think it was the one that had that big bite mark on the side. Was that a tracker someone had previously put there?
