I could tell we were supposed to destroy the things in the center while he's charging his nuke, but I didn't realize Nahida can reach the floating ones with her charge attack. I was running around frantically spamming basics and Es until my Nahida got nuked.

@@lamartinejr2814 heck most of his attacks barely do anything even in phase 1. You can dodge most of his phase 1 attacks by being near him. In phase 2 the first attack he does is a guaranteed miss you don’t even need to dash. His other attacks are also super easy to dodge since they take a long ass time

@@adamkovacs5883 You need character that can break those turrets. You need good elemental application and range abilities. Not sure what elements are the best. Nahida works pretty well, but she needs to use her NA&CA. Also - you can use ults, even all of them, cause later you are getting full energy back for free. When you break turrets, grab energy blocks and use Neo Akasha as usual - press button to activate it and then to shot at the boss. Boss will drop and you can attack it's core using range unit, or going on the platform.

During the story quest Scaramouche's damage was not that like good. Very easy then. But then the domain. I was very surprised at the amount of dmg he was doing 😭. Could have ended up killing all my characters. Dori helped alot tho.
I really like the editing explanation, it's normally pretty difficult to follow what's happening in a fight, and the way it was explained here was really helpful.
I just did this boss a little while ago and found out that you can use ayaka charged attacks, ventis skill, and zhonglis skill to hit the flying things so you dont get one shot
Agreed, since sometimes the live explanation has some pauses or errors. I like how there’s frame by frame/ back and forth scroll thru on the timeline to show the numbers too!
2:31 the pads all have cooldowns. longish ones, but sufficient, as they're not all needed constantly. --(anyone who has bad enough damage to not just one cycle the boss or likes to experiment with the mechanics would probably eventually find this out.)-- for one, at first, you can always damage him. But he creates ice fields and fire fields with certain moves. Fire and ice pads removes ice/fire fields rather than waiting for them expire so you're not constantly dieing in certain places while trying to avoid. Water gives you a water aura that restores a bunch of energy and provides health regeneration it's quite useful if you want your bursts back. Wind gives you a wind current so you can avoid some of his huge moves such as "endless cycle" (rotating energy beams, shown in the video) and "at my command, you shall fall!" (full stage lightning floor laser, not shown). The two electro fields partially stun the boss. Applying both fully stun him if you can do it in quick succession. It's usually best to hold onto some energy, wait for him to do another skill so more energy is created, then go ahead and slap him with one electro panel, then with the second one straight after. This avoids having to dodge his random+targetted lightning storm that happens when he's struggling in his partially stunned state. 3:40 incorrect. you're too strong. didn't see all the skills. he has his tornado field attack, which if you get stuck in with a character who has poor dashing speed you'll likely die from being pulled into a tornado and murdered. Another elemental slam in fire edition, an electro missile barrage that covers most of the field sweeping from the sides towards the middle and another targetted "big pyramid shaped missile/flare" type move. 5:05 not great at giving tips for this kinda thing. huh? staying close to him is bad. cause he does that to you. :V Same with the bombs, they blow up big, but they ARE free energy if you can break them efficiently. theres ice, fire and water ones as far as I know. So potentially bring some elements good against those.

The Saramech boss is so much fun! My only issue is when he spawns his mega electro ball, you have to break the turrets but some of them are a bit elevated so a fair amount of my skills just miss it However, Dendro Traveler’s burst can hit them. Just add Hydro to increase its range

Honestly I understood none of the mechanics except for aiming the little floaty guy when I first fought him in the quest. Luckily I had enough damage to brute force it anyways.
I just use Zhongli and let the pod do damage. So that I can just enjoy the music and the boss attack animations. But I am so disappointed because they made this boss fight too easy.

Killed the boss twice and had no idea what to do. I actually barely noticed anything on phase 1, because he went down pretty fast. Ofc I got annihilated by the massive electro ball he fired on phase 2. But it's interesting to see a mechanics oriented boss. Great video.
I think the boss is amazingly fun- my one issue with it is that I wish the second phase had just a bit more HP. You can take it down super easily without any damage dealers on your team, it’s all about survivability

@@andreespina9747 Agreed. I think maximum of two cycles to take it down, as a whale, should be the adjustment to taking down Scaramouche at his weak point. The core should be on average, a three to five cycle boss fight.
The video didn't show it, but after you knock down the boss in phase two 6:10 you can use the four leaf sigils to get on the platform next to his main core. You just have to start with the sigil in the middle of the room. Edit: Missed that part of the video whoops.
Yeah kinda weird that this "guide" just kinda skipped over the easiest way to beat the boss, which is the intended way, and instead chose to do it in amuch more difficult way that requires you to go through even more of his attacks.

In the story version I was running around not really knowing what I was doing and the game seemed to just take pity on me and I "won". Not the most dramatic end to the story. Me blindly fumbling around without any clue what I was doing and then he just falls over? I didn't feel like I did anything besides not die.
You can use the little buddy's aimed shot to damage the boss too, even when he's not down, and it deals a crap ton of damage. The first (story) and second (domain) time I fought him I couldnt get the flying turrets (got ballsy and used the friendship farming team), so I had to tank the instakill, but little buddy proceeded to two shot him back. A relationship of mutual insta-killing, very much his style.
Yeah...my second time doing the second stage I just walked around with zhongli and kokomi and stayed in range for the turret and thats about it, oh and swapped to c6 kuki to tank the super nuke (even if it ignores shields c6 kuki survives with 1 hp lol). First stage was just Eula Nuked.

My Yoimiya made mincemeat of him 1st and 2nd time. Took me a second to grasp most of the mechanics. Namely aiming dendro bot and using 4 leafs to get up to his chest. But he didn't get up after being knocked down once.
Question: it keeps telling me I need to destroy the nirvana engines to get him out of his 1-shot charge phase, but nothing I do to them will bring them down. Does only dendro work to destroy them?
Just wana say that when he starts the laser shooting thing you can activate a mechanic with the anemo thing on the ground and it will start a wind current that will help you fly up and avoid them( if there’s any mistakes in my comment i apologize)
I was honestly shocked at how difficult a time people were having, calling him hard, or people saying "Finally an actually hard boss". My first time ever fighting him in co-op, I soloed him with Itto in less than two minutes after all three of my teammates died. I don't know if it was a fluke, or my Itto is a LOT better than I remember, but I'm not going to complain until next week when I can tell if it was a fluke or not
Love the video! FYI Kazuha’s E also destroys turrets I was a little underwhelmed by the boss fight but I missed some of these mechanics (like the clovers up to the core) so I’m excited to try them out
this boss absolutely HURT when i first played it tbh, just kept spamming nahida's skill, then burst, then raiden's burst, i don't even know anymore. all i know is that i won
I have noticed that you can teleport ( using the tarzan thingie) on that sort of plate while the boss is kneeling down and hit it. But boi oh boi, this boss is a nightmare. The "T" button is very easy to miss on screen in that chaos and i wonder WHY? Why did they make it so idiotic?
tbh you just need to beat his first phase and just tank his 2nd phase even if one of your characters die in the 2nd phase from the one shot as long as you don't die and keep avoiding his attacks he'll eventually die from the Nahida's supportive upgraded version of the Akasha
Playing on mobile a lot of this is really annoying to do and see but I'm used to that so will make it work. Thank you for making this cause I was just brute forcing through with DPS thinking this has to be easier than I'm making it lol
You can actually use the anemo pad when ur little green buddy’s charged up since it creates a wind domain like Venti’s elemental skill which u can use to just glide above the electro beams Scara shoots out
Zhongli, yes for sure. As long as u don't just literally stand still to get hit by every attack. Scaramouche actually can't kill you, even if it's accidental dodges like Hu Tao charge attacking

When you load into the domain the info at the start does explain what each pad does for phase 1, and also gives you tips for phase 2 😅 There are also so many more attacks especially for phase 1; I know this isn't a guide video and just things you discovered but it would have been nice to see more clips to see the other mechanics, or pause the video while you're talking so we can have a look and see properly what you were talking about.

You’re supposed to zip up to his chest to deal damage after you disable his ult in the second stage.

You can use the little buddy's aimed shot to damage the boss too, even when he's not down, and it deals a crap ton of damage.
The first (story) and second (domain) time I fought him I couldnt get the flying turrets (got ballsy and used the friendship farming team), so I had to tank the instakill, but little buddy proceeded to two shot him back. A relationship of mutual insta-killing, very much his style.
Yeah...my second time doing the second stage I just walked around with zhongli and kokomi and stayed in range for the turret and thats about it, oh and swapped to c6 kuki to tank the super nuke (even if it ignores shields c6 kuki survives with 1 hp lol). First stage was just Eula Nuked.

In case you don’t have enough dps, you continue to use the 4 leafed flower attack even after the shield is down… It does quite a bit of damage
About lasers, if you stand on anemo platform with full-charged green thing, it will create a wind flow, so you can just fly above the lasers
i didn't know the platforms was there so i I-frame them, and dps-ing, successfully actually. I wish this boss was harder now that i know the mechanic.
@@SpedRockt same! I was expecting "a newborn god" as literall hell, but it's as easy as all previous bosses. And was Not expecting the green thing to stay as a weekly thing. I wish having it was a choice, so the boss can be a little harder
@@wrongway3773 if that green thing doesn't autoshoot in phase 2 (only for manual) and the boss has more heath like 2mil or even 3. It will be much more challenging, as well as a DPS check.
That model of video's actually much better, since I fell like you're talking directly to the viewer, unlike the "scripted" videos.

Oh 6:14 you can see there's a platform on his chest that you can sling onto. I don't know what the difference being on the platform gives tho
My Yoimiya made mincemeat of him 1st and 2nd time. Took me a second to grasp most of the mechanics. Namely aiming dendro bot and using 4 leafs to get up to his chest. But he didn't get up after being knocked down once.

Question: it keeps telling me I need to destroy the nirvana engines to get him out of his 1-shot charge phase, but nothing I do to them will bring them down. Does only dendro work to destroy them?
Just wana say that when he starts the laser shooting thing you can activate a mechanic with the anemo thing on the ground and it will start a wind current that will help you fly up and avoid them( if there’s any mistakes in my comment i apologize)

How intuitive, using electro against the electro boss is the best way to go.
Can't beat the dendro cube without a dendro character so it seems to be the way things are going now
I didn't know there were platforms to be used. Being a xiao main I was hurt seeing that xiao couldn't plunge properly
I was honestly shocked at how difficult a time people were having, calling him hard, or people saying "Finally an actually hard boss". My first time ever fighting him in co-op, I soloed him with Itto in less than two minutes after all three of my teammates died. I don't know if it was a fluke, or my Itto is a LOT better than I remember, but I'm not going to complain until next week when I can tell if it was a fluke or not
After fighting him once I did a few lvl 60 runs just to get used to the mechanics and is pretty dynamic and fun to play.

I was a little underwhelmed by the boss fight but I missed some of these mechanics (like the clovers up to the core) so I’m excited to try them out
this boss absolutely HURT when i first played it tbh, just kept spamming nahida's skill, then burst, then raiden's burst, i don't even know anymore. all i know is that i won
@ 6:14 the second phase when you stun him a platform appears by it's head and you can use T to fly up to the platform and do the DSP damage there.
I have noticed that you can teleport ( using the tarzan thingie) on that sort of plate while the boss is kneeling down and hit it. But boi oh boi, this boss is a nightmare. The "T" button is very easy to miss on screen in that chaos and i wonder WHY? Why did they make it so idiotic?
Im in a hurry so i didnt bother learning the mechanics. I just slap in ZL and went unga bunga whether im doing dmg or not.

tbh you just need to beat his first phase and just tank his 2nd phase even if one of your characters die in the 2nd phase from the one shot as long as you don't die and keep avoiding his attacks he'll eventually die from the Nahida's supportive upgraded version of the Akasha

Playing on mobile a lot of this is really annoying to do and see but I'm used to that so will make it work. Thank you for making this cause I was just brute forcing through with DPS thinking this has to be easier than I'm making it lol

Food, shields and ranged is what you want.
You can actually use the anemo pad when ur little green buddy’s charged up since it creates a wind domain like Venti’s elemental skill which u can use to just glide above the electro beams Scara shoots out
There are really two characters to defeat scara:
Zhongli and yoimiya
I used EULA and nuked him in both phases
Zhongli, yes for sure. As long as u don't just literally stand still to get hit by every attack. Scaramouche actually can't kill you, even if it's accidental dodges like Hu Tao charge attacking
actually i find it so useful im happy thay you find this kind of videos easier and i think the others find it useful to so it's win win situation and good luck our fiver it math man iwintolose.

Just do the "puzzle" and dodge calmly and bring cryo/pyro on your team. I find this boss way easier than previous weekly bosses
When you load into the domain the info at the start does explain what each pad does for phase 1, and also gives you tips for phase 2 😅
There are also so many more attacks especially for phase 1; I know this isn't a guide video and just things you discovered but it would have been nice to see more clips to see the other mechanics, or pause the video while you're talking so we can have a look and see properly what you were talking about.
