Great video as always! For people who like to tinker, I built my own and there were a few things I did different than the bnf, some of which you mentioned. 1. Rotated the frame 90 (which I think they do on the BNF now too) 2. Mounted the FC under the frame but still above the battery tray with the vtx where the FC usually goes, like Mr Shutterbug does. Much easier to do than one might think. 3. Went back to 25,000 kv 0802 motors and NBD Azi tri-blades. I end up with better efficiency, typically over 4 mins acro on a 550 gnb. Those specific tri-blades are light enough/low pitch so don’t lose too much responsiveness from the bi-blades but handles the weight in corners noticeably better.
Just crank your camera angle on the 1002s, and it will feel way, way better. I like 40+ degrees on that setup personally. Slow cruising becomes an issue, but I don’t do that anyway so it works for me. All the best. Great video!
Hello , the last couple of week two events occur to me . The first was i got to view BOX goggles and i was not impressed . The image itself was clear and crisp BUT the image appeared off at a distance , like watch a TV from across the room . The other was a grandson showed me his Quest 2 VR headset .... WOW !!! The image was very good and " In my face " very Immersive !!! I am half way interested in FPV but i would want goggles that showed an image like the Quest 2 has . If i were to take my index finger and thumb and put them together and hold them up to my orbital sockets , would ,let's say HDZERO ? goggles give me THAT image ???
great high quality video! great work. Q 4 U: mobula6 hdzero vs. moblite7 hdzero - really love the mobula6 and trying to determine whether to get a backup mob6 or the moblite7. curious which way you'd go. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you liked the video! I think the Moblite7 is the way to go unless you only fly indoors. It’s much more capable outside, and can still be flown inside with no issues.
No, this is a separate FPV system. The goggles would need to be HDZero goggles or the HDZero video receiver, and you would need a controller that supports ELRS. You can find a few DJI-compatible whoops that would work indoors. Try looking for “DJI Whoop” and you will find some designs that are based on the Caddx Vista.

Anyway that was my attempt to improve on it, I’m sure there are lots of people who will take it much further!
I’ll give the Azis a try, I have some of those. Good tips!
“FPV Winter is really just whoop season”
Yes!! I love it.
Your videos are awesome brother.
Thanks man. Appreciate your support all this time!
Sweeeeet, thanks for the perspective!
Great video, I just picked mine up last week, and your right it's a great little whoop.

Would these drones work with the DJI goggles and controller? I have the DJI fpv combo but want to get a small drone for indoors

@@ATXAirborne ok thanks. I will look into that
Put skis on it....😉
Why get a mobula7 in 1s when 2s is available? 1s feels so slow and lame compared to my 2s mobula7
