    So exciting to see HDZERO in this 65mm 1s class bnf! Thanks for all the tips I am definitely going to be picking this one up and doing all your suggested modifications awesome review Ryan!

    Your tree work, the garage, and the crawl space was an incredible display of the system!
    I could climb all the other trees but 11:28 is a serious, not gonna climb that one, tree.
    Wanted to do this my whoops, all analog, but if I can't climb the tree... I'm flying around it.
    Great flights, wonderful collection of the best modern whoop tips, and wow HDZero!

    In case anyone hast seen. V3 now ships with A30 connector. And Bluejay firmware. So some of the issues/improvements are already there from the factory now. :)

      yeah thats what I was hoping for I just bought Mobula6 from Bangood but they still have in their description PH2.0 connectors their picutures also show the PH2.0 but HappyModel site states that V3 comes with A30 connectors, so you just confirmed it does, ( still waiting for it to get here this week or next) Thanks for this update I am grateful I dont have to solder A30 connector, but I did buy it just in case i had to haha, Thanks DukeEvolution ✌
      So BLueJay firware is also already installed @96hz?

    • @DukeEvolution
      @DukeEvolution 10 місяців тому +1

      @@Humble452 it was, but mine said v3 on the box and had new connector, etc. if you get one with ph connector its likely v2.

      I already want v4 with the new camera. lol I’m hoping happy model updates it by mid summer, once they run out of the old cameras.

      @@DukeEvolution yeah on BanGood's description it does say V3, just their pictures were still showing V2 ph 2.0 connectors, so I am pretty sure they will have the new A30 connector since it does say V3, (I Hope lol) :)

    Crazy how good a 65mm whoop with digital can be! Even crazier that they are doing in BNF now. The future is bright for HDZero man. I really like that 16:9 full and I bet it works out really well with the more round optics in some brands of goggles rather than feathering out in the corners where the optics curve.

    Great review and improvements. That crash recovery was a game changer for me, especially indoors.

    awesome video! Was hoping to see this one on your channel, looks like a lot of fun. I had issues finding a frame, board combo that would work with the 1S, so very nice that they have a BNF option now, that takes all the work out of it for you.

    I tried the thing in a 75mm M7 frame with larger 2 blades props, much better flight time and handling outside !

    The improvements to hdzero are really impressive. I've been debating on if I should just get the receiver for my goggles and dive in on converting my fleet, or wait until the new goggles come out and see what's on the market by then.

    Watched a few of your videos before but this one has me subbing. I had done the bluejay firmware on my moblite6 but with analog your flight times are already decent so the improvement isn't as noticeable but on this quad bluejay changes everything. IMO it went from barely functional to just good enough to have a little fun with. Mine came weighing 24g not 23.5g but I got it down to 23.1g by changing out my rubber dampers to foam(kind that comes in protective cases), removed one of the screws from each motor and shortened the way too long stock VTX wiring. I also removed the rear canopy screw as 3 is plenty. Previously I was hanging a 10.7 - 11g 450 pack off the bottom and this helped get 4 minutes before the swap to blue jay so I expect 4:30 with 450 batteries. I'm now wondering if 3 blade props + 450 might be the ideal combo for this. About to try your camera settings as I like the improved area/color and I need to swap to BT2.0 as well.

    • @RyanQuellet
      @RyanQuellet  Рік тому

      Thanks! Bt2.0 makes the biggest difference

      @@RyanQuellet Wow I look forward to trying them then. I tried to copy your camera settings best I could but they switched to 1-3 vs low med high it looks like. I also set 16:9 full but don't get the vignetting you did. Do I need a specific firmware? Pretty sure I have current on VTX and VRX. Wont have HDZ goggles for a few days.

  • @KSanofficial

    Is it worth shortening the motor cables? With my mob6 (Non HDZero), they are quite long and twisted to remove slack. For weight purposes is it good to shorten them or would the additional solder make it worse?

    Did this come with 24k esc flash or did it already have 48k? I personally like 48k the best. Also I would try the Azi tri-blades they are a little lighter and more responsive. As soon. As these goggles are for sail I'm buying one of these or building 1. I love it!
