Baroness Von Bon Bon is a boss that is pretty difficult at first, but later I realized that once you have experience it is really Musky Chernikov and Baroness’ last phase that can be even the slightest bit tricky in my personal opinion and experience with Baroness
100%. That's why the load out is also important to the boss fight, because trying to make a weapon like maybe Lobber or Chaser work can be a lot harder than maybe Roundabout or Spread, and that comes through experience.
honestly, P. Sugar comes in really useful. And my personal loadout is Lobber+Spread. Most minibosses go down quickly with Spread and you don't have to worry about the jelly knights. As for the castle chase? It's practically designed for Lobber, so it should be a matter of "Invincibility spread, then use any remaining aces to lob her"
Another tip that makes me personaly FLY trough the bosses, do the lobber trap in the castle mouth/door
Let's go one of my favorite bosses in the game. I just love her boss rush mechanic.
And also the way I do it is Roundabout but I go back and fourth around Spread and Charge.
But the way I play the game now, speeding through the boss fight is major RNG. (My best for her ATM Is S rank 1:05)
If you are still struggling I used Ms. Chalice crack shot spread and the invincibility super. Ms. Chalice makes the early parries super easy and gives a bit more mobility as well as having that extra cushion of health. You can use crack shot most of the time and then use spread any time you can get close to the mini bosses. Also any time there is a the little pink jellybeans stop shooting grab the parry and then continue shooting. I try to get as many parries as I can early to alway have the invincibility cushion. Hope it helps.
If I recall, the rolling candy when the Baroness chases you didn't count towards the parry quota. Maybe that was fixed in a patch? Back then, your only parry opportunities were the pink jelly beans and the pink part of the Baroness' blunderbuss shot. Glad that you can parry the candy for parries!
Oh they definitely changed that for sure. MDHR has definitely made the game easier through patches of the game, and especially with the DLC. Another case is Rumor Honeybottoms and the pink spell attacks themselves. Meaning the triangle and sphere attacks themselves you were not able to parry and it count. The triangle shots counted, but not the triangle itself and I especially remember because I tried to S Rank Rumor waayyy back and tried to just parry the sphere and triangle and it didn't work.

@@BigBossMan538 That definitely doesn't count towards the parry requirement. But Moonshine Mob from the DLC for example has the Anteater with the tongue attack, and parrying the tongue counts for the parry requirement. So, you just run Heart Ring if you want free HP, make it to the tongue attack, and parry it from below or above and get all those juicy free parries, HP, and the satisfaction of being the better player 😆

For me is Lobber and Charge very good damage and lobber can be used for do damage before the enter of a new mini boss. Charge high damage and very good in the last face

I got no idea wether Baroness was pretty challenging or not, However there a lot you need to dodge before you get onto the last phase, surprisingly it took me 30 mins to S-rank, its a piece right off once ypu know every tip and tricks
I think the only parrys that don’t count for s ranks are the ones you actually need, like the train’s tail or the frogs’ arm, or Sally’s star
Probably what's true now. MDHR has changed a lot of the requirements to make them easier I guess, and it's not like there's patch notes or what not are popular to read for this game if there is any, so I'm still kinda thrown off on attacks that used to NOT count towards the parry requirement now counting towards it. It's why S Ranking or just playing this game has gotten MUCH easier over the years. Honestly, not the biggest fan of reducing the skill ceiling, but it is what it is.
@@MrKap I guess it’s also easier with the amount of parrys added, like the last phase of the robot didn’t have any and now it has a ton of them
@@obiwaldog517 Oh for sure. That's why Heart Ring/Divine Relic is so great for Dr. Kahl and many other bosses that they amped up the parries and parry requirement for.
