8:44 You know how many times I have heard that phrase "I think we got every thing we need" in hope from my wife? I just smirk. No one believes it. She knows that I can justify anything.
We can't afford the tractor yet, but thankfully, we have some neighbors who help us out from time to time for cheap. Our last big job was cleaning up about an acre or so after digging up 40 or so huge stumps and the resulting roots everywhere. The York rake he used was huge and it really cleaned up and smoothed things out. He'll be back in the spring with his monster PTO tiller to break up any remaining roots and debris and give it one last raking. My first two implements once we can afford the tractor will be a root rake/grapple and a York rake. We've got 30 acres to clean up (mostly forest, but a LOT of dead limbs and downed trees everywhere) and about 3 miles of logging roads we want to maintain. I made a vid of our neighbor using his York rake and it's amazing what one can do.
It's -2 degrees at 7:30 am in Perth, NY right now. It will be sunny today but we're watching movies too! I'm too old and it's too cold to work outdoors here in the Southern Adirondacks! Nice video! Merry Christmas to you!
That seems like one of those things that you only use a few times a year, but when you do, it saves you hours of work. You certainly can't beat the price. Ho ho ho.
@@CreatingASimplerLifeOffGrid I getting one for Christmas to heat my 12x20 shed lol I'm excited like a little kid at Christmas Im in NC so my winters aren't bad no like the LI, or your winters but I like being warm.
It worked great in our gravel driveway too, but we’re hoping to do the entire area around our house next year so we’ll see. Hope alls going well with the manlift! Merry Christmas 🎄
I keep backfilling the ruts on my driveway by hand. Delivery trucks usually dig in a bit on the uphill section. This would be a great replacement for my rake. Will it adapt to a UTV?

😂same here!
This rake might be my favorite implement. So satisfying doing a gravel driveway or yard prep for seeding.
I gotta say I’m liking it so far too👍

Enjoy and please Let me know how you like it!
I would like to customize that rake to fit on the back of my club car. I am sure that driveway is look sweet.
Lol. And it did work great.
Seems to work well for gravel. Would not work for my driveway though.

That’s a lot of work! No, it won’t adapt but I think they actually make one for an atv tow behind…
The pin was the right size the frames a little bent
