Joe Rogan and Jon Bernthal discuss how Jon began his acting career. Jon attended, allegedly, the best school for acting and it wasn't even located in the US. This high-quality acting school is what eventually led to such prestigious roles such as Shane rom TWD and Frank from The Punisher.
Jon Bernthal is an actor known for such roles as Sheriff's Deputy Shane Walsh in "The Walking Dead," vigilante Frank Castle in "The Punisher," and more recently, corrupt cop Wayne Jenkins in HBO's miniseries, "We Own This City." Bernthal is also the host of the weekly interview podcast series "REAL ONES with Jon Bernthal."

bro from a business and marketing stand point *knuckles* i see u bro
@@cmamsler👊🏼
Jon is such a good actor, he was great in The Walking Dead and The Punisher, and also Baby Driver.
He was good in Wolf of Wall Street and one of his best performances, imo, Fury
One of the better guests ive ever seen on JRE , Bernthal comes off so genuine and insightful, really like that guy man
He was so good in Sicario. A small role yet felt enormous. And held his own against Benicio Del Toro, who is a wizard. Jon brings a genuine truth to his parts ( villains or good guys), that it's not surprising to see he's such a well rounded person with wordly experiences.
I love when Joe is truly into something. He ask every question. Almost too many.
I got my BFA in acting, and my movement teacher, freshman year was Jon's classmate in Russia. Really interesting hearing that the movement work and acrobatics I personally did were essentially the same as the ones my teacher did in Moscow. Its all about acting on impulse and getting out of your head. :)
Thought he was great in The Pacific. The trained that they went though showed they really cared about the show.
frank castle in a multiverse of madness
Shane Walsh
Stand up guy. Always liked Jon’s work
I thought the question was what is Rithums, I think he took the conversation were he wanted. STILL a good podcast.
Why the fuq did u cut off midway through the story?
Hey, Joe.
Tom Segura wants his jacket back
his voice sounds so different to his characters
No sht sherlock.. he's an actor
You give off school shooter vibes
I got anxiety just hearing this lol
When I seen him in the walked dead after that I said he’s going to a great bad guy in what ever he Plays in
Bru I can’t find the full video
You cut the story...
Thats the whole story. There is a woman with red hair. The end
www.youtube.com/ watch?v=JzmUojwdfg0 glue the break when you paste it if you wanna watch the rest of the story.
TO BE CONTINUED in the Russia Now vs. Russia Then clip.
Just like this clip directly continued the one about him starting out in acting
Brilliant Actor..... 👍🙂
But I could listen to your stories all day long and half the night if I had beer!
Bro anyone can listen to anything with beer
@@ForsakenEJinator I could listen to a bird chirp for hours with enough beer
Shane from twd
Whatever happened to pussyriot?
I don't know why actors are insane people, but we are, and it's a strange gift - thanks Satan
Joe and Jon actually look very similar 🤔
Yeah they both have faces
no they don't
Thumb
I want whatever you smoking on 😵💫
They both giga chads
HOW THE FUCK do you NOT keep your paperwork with you in that era? *edit. -I forgot about that “I’m an American!” shit people pull when outside the states. It’s so bad, even our Allie’s hate us
@@Wadzillia As an American it upset me that doing this is equivalent to being “unarmed”. When I served overseas we were explicitly told NOT to promote this image, but that didn’t prevent “civilians” / tourists from getting G.I.’s into bar fights. But back to Jon; a grown man, going into hostile territory (some would even say “foreign”) like a naive schoolgirl. Maybe I’m a dinosaur, or he’s just they tough…
Nigga, he said he forgot lol
I feel like this guy would drain your energy fast if you were someone in his circle. Feels like everything would aways be serious. 😆
I feel like you can’t tell so much about a person from one public interview or even several. Not everyone is a stoner, and just because they aren’t doesn’t make them an energy vampire. I’ll bet he gives more than he takes.
How does a serious person drain your Energy?
He does talk a lot but he’s on a podcast
He has a penchant for talking with such intensity and gravity about the most mundane shit sometimes
@@domzbu I’ve seen a lot of his work and social interactions with others. I’ve watched his podcast quite a few times and I’ve known of him for years. I’m not trying to label him but I’m a psychologist and I’ve had time to observe him a lot. Again, I’m not labeling him, just an observation. I know people who act identical to him. lol.
Communism is no joke
What a geek!!!
His stuttering and intensity on everything is incredibly tiring. Can't even have it as background noise because it's like a nervous man is confessing a murder in my backroom.
Some people talk slow.. get over it
Nerds have hard lives whoopydeedo
