Another idiot who believes everything they read/see online. Two cars out of 12k sold in the USA "randomly" caught fire. Also both of those guys didn't give us the full story, an ignored pretty much all questions.
I'm pretty sure people didn't do the break in process like they should people that know about cars know they can't just buy a brand new car and put the pedal to the metal and wait 10k miles for an oil change with metal shavings and deposit in the oil. People deserve what they get for not reading the manual and talking to car people about the break in process.
we truly don’t know the whole story regarding that vehicle that caught on fire. It could’ve been modded incorrectly, possibly some maintenance issue that he didn’t manage. They’ve made/sold roughly 5500 vehicles for the US market. If only one or two caught fire, then logically those outliers are sketchy. Also globally this same GR Corolla is badged under the GR Yaris. We haven’t heard anything about Yaris’s burning and they’ve been in the market longer than the GR Corolla
I'm glad to have a manual and happy to know an auto is an option when my knee finally gives
youre gonna buy two? 😁
@@tinhinnh LOL... I would trade or give manual to my son
@@timw2083😂 👍
Took my GRC to the NASA HPDE event and it was the best experience ever
Great video!
Thus giy glt his inmaforma wrong. This gr rolla is over 40$K 42$K standard with accessories it over 43$K.
And it's better than a Gold R how at the same price?
Maybe golf reduce price
Just dont over 80 mph until the warranty expires 😂😂
Excuse me sir but you can actually go 85 mph 😂 Any faster than that and the car is at risk of burning to the ground.

@@matexf4c right. I would do a 1k mile oil change.
Wait they’re used to
Sadly these are 60k+ in Canada
The automatic is 10k more then a DSG Golf R. Crazy!! 🤷♂
i love this car, wish i could own 300hp car.
There’s a bunch of 300 hp economy cars. Camry, Maxima etc
@@KobeMptherstoo big and heavy.
whats with the cow catcher on the nose of the car ?
All of that for a *_Corolla_* , what a world we live in…
There isn't any Corolla about the way it feels and drives. Just the name and the interior.
@@CodeBonYTToyota should drop the GRMN COROLLA INSTEAD
@MrCovert23 if that's even a thing. I saw the track test, we will see. It would probably be $55k. I'll drive my 24 GRC premium until then
Right? It's like the Civic Type R! All of that for just a Civic? Madness.
@wickedrph6670 tell me a better sports car with a real backseat than those 2 at 45k or less and I'll go buy one if I agree.
Careful with these… if you exceed 85 mph the engine might explode and burn the car down. It’s too risky to drive that fast, per Toyota.
$46650 god damn😩 auto would be $48k… golf r should be around the same price and quicker
And more tunable. I hear GRC piston head deteriorate prematurely, causing a hole in the block
So there is no base auto for Gr Corolla?
@@KobeMpthersThey confirmed the core is also getting the auto
But than you’ll be just having a Golf R not GRC 🔥
I rather toyota bring the Lexus LBX morizo over here.
Just don't drive over 85 mph or you'll void you warranty with Toyota lol
im hopin this 2025 doesnt catch fire tho😅
Too bad they light on fire and track you.

I will probably take a mk8.5 Golf R at that price.
Be careful Japan quality always best for less hassles
@jamesnicol3831 ea888 has been proven and very tunable. The piston head on the grc tends to deteriorate prematurely, causing a hole in the block.
GR engine has been tested a long time in racing
@bjsimon802 yet it has premature piston head deterioration, which results in a hole on the block
@Joe-eg7ml yea... no it doesn't. Provide proof
3 cylinder. Price. 🤦♂️
