i’m a backpacker - i’ve got back and shoulder pain and a tote/shoulder bag makes it worse. i’ve got a black roll top one that’s really subtle/plain with no branding or anything so it feels good to wear.

I have a laptop bag/briefcase/purse. It is black leather and HUGE. I fit all my work stuff in it. Including my headphones, daily planner, laptop, chargers, notebooks, and pen pouch (with all 24 pens/markers 😅)

My commute used to be 2 hours one way (1 hr driving & 1 hr on the train) so I definitely used to take a backpack but this was also all pre-covid lol Next time your view is obstructed, you can go to the box office and they can give you different seats! My friend ended up getting floor seats because of the same problem at BLACKPINK!

I work 100% remotely, however if I travel for work or befor when I work in hybrid mode - I always bring my backpack :) so convenient to put laptop and all the stuff that I need. I have two black ones, almost identical just in different sizes and it's the Doughnut Macaroon backpack (black series) 14'' and Large Cordura :)

Definitely disagree that backpacks are poor people. My biggest pet peeve though are the people that overload their backpack to make it look like they’re going on a cross country trip for 14 months. I do swap between backpacks and messenger bag’s depending on my mood, destination, or clothing for the day.

I saw that your kitty has FIP and got the eye ulcer. We also had a kitten have FIP and treated him with drugs that we got underground shipped from China. He also had the eye ulcer and because of his diagnosis timing we had to get the eye removed. All of this to say I really hope Mosie makes it through and you guys are awesome!!
I like to alternate between backpacks and totes but if you have a lot of stuff then yes backpacks are superior for that even weight distribution!! The new bed frame is soooo cute; do you guys hit your legs on the part that’s sticking out though?

40+ and I still wear a backpack. I need to distribute the weight over both shoulders. I would suggest if you don't use a backpack, use 2 bags to help with the weight, like your laptop in one bag and everything else you need in another bag.
