Idk why but seeing you get your life together and deep clean felt so therapeutic. Kinda makes me want to do the same 😅 glad to see you’re doing well
haha i definitely also get productivity inspo from watching other vids too - hope you’re having a great 2023! 🥰
James is my fav character in your vlogs 😂😅
same :)
I’m so glad you mentioned the layoffs. My sister was among them and I can’t imagine being apart of the leftover turmoil. It’s nice they did the letters to employees at the very least, but I know it wasn’t handled well from the top. Glad you weren’t part of the RIF and hope it stays a good environment!
Wishing your sister the absolute best ❤
@@ninanegedu thank you so much ❤️
I hope your sister find a new job. I was part of the first batch of people in my previous company that got lay off last year It did not helped that our company just decided to do it without any kind of announcement, I was puzzled that I was unable to logged into my company email address. And got surprised in my personal email about the lay off, I was unable to even say goodbye from my team. Luckily I got a new job after 2 weeks but I developed an anxiety from what happened and felt like anytime it will happen again.
@@lifelately3600 I’m so sorry you had to go through that and that you found a job pretty quickly! I also was in a similar situation twice but where my boss and many others were laid off without any warning. My team was my family and it felt like she died and I was left with managing everyone during all the chaos, and was expected to still meet deadlines while being short staffed and in a traumatic state. I definitely have PTSD from it and have lost trust in leadership.
i’m so sorry about your sister and your past experiences with layoffs :( i definitely understand the loss of trust in leadership - it’s sad to know at the end of the day that corporations don’t rly care about us :/ i hope everything turns out ok for your sister though!! (sending my love and support ❤️)
I love watching your videos because they’re so realistic. The way you edit them makes it so easy and calming to watch!
I feel like your hair is perfect for this season, it's like seeing an orange sprouting on a tree in the bleak winter time!
omg great analogy haha 😅🍊
i just started watching your channel but I just wanna say your videos are so soothing to me for some reason! i love your editing style and the domesticity in a way of your life :)
The orange is growing on me girl! 😆💜
me too 🥰
Sarah has such a nice balance between work and life… goals!!
haha i’m definitely trying!
MAN I really wanna visit nyc sometime
The more I watch her videos the more I wanna go to NYC!!!!!! Omggggg💗💗💗🔥
lets gooo fire vlog
sarah's productive day is so satisfying. 😍🤩🤩💖💖
ty marc! :)
Much love Sarah!! Another great vlog! Honestly they keep getting better and better! Remain humble inspiring motivated and fearless. We ♥️ u girl!
tysm for being here and supporting! it means the world 🥹🧡
Hey Sara! I’m so glad you weren’t apart of the 12,000! 🥺 I thought of you when I heard the announcement! I pray that the others find jobs soon! 🙏🏾
thank you so much!! also praying that everyone affected finds jobs soon 😢
on squats, set your j-cups a bit lower so that you don't have to lift the bar off when you're already standing up straight. imagine being really tired after your set and not having the strength to lift it back on! if the j-cups are lower in this scenario, you can just walk back to the rack and lower onto the cups. nice work! :)
I love the vibe at your climbing gym!
it’s a great gym 🥰
(Don’t worry it’s James) that had me sobbing 😭😭😭😭
I honestly love your intro, it was so fresh, unique, and creative! And kinda quirky I LOVED it 🙏
ty for appreciating it!! 🥹🫶
Love working from home (always wished that I could) now I AM. Even with the required meeting (twice per week for me), they aren't long. I take naps and that is so refreshing. Also good for me as I am an introvert, people drain my energy AND I love a clean home. When I was outside busy I had to do so only on weekends (so when was I to chill?)...Now I can do it so that it is balanced...never want to go back to that commuting sht.
how is your editing always SO GOOD?
ty 🫶
Rocking the ginger hair🧡 Love it!
🫶🫶
okay, not related to the video, but your hair is so mesmerizing 😍💘
ty alexa!! it’s definitely starting to grow on me 😇
Why are you two so adorable together? 😍 Loved the video :)
🥰🫶
I love ur videos Sarah :,) makes me feel a lot less alone as a recent new grad in tech
ahh ty for being here! 🫶
i make it a point to specifically touch everything in the back on shelves at grocery stores because i know ppl will think its not been touched as much as the stuff in the front
calling the police rn 🚨😂
Another great video. Thanks for giving us a glimpse into your life. Hope you have a great week.
thank you for being here! :)
Love the hair. Super fun copper. I'll bite the bullet and dye mine this weekend. It's temp but wish me luck
ahh good luck!! copper is such a cute hair color 🧡
My only parent got laid off this week. The company she worked for laid off almost 10% of their workforce. It has been rough. I'm glad you're okay
omg i’m so sorry about your parents :( i hope they’re able to find jobs soon!! sending my support 🫶 it’s been so rough with all the layoffs recently

I always get excited whenever you post a video hihi i know how it feels to get laid off :( I’ve been laid off twice in the last 2 years! But now I’m in a company with much greater environment
i’m so sorry about that!! :( but i’m glad you’re at a better company now 🫶
I loved this video 🌟
tysm for watching! 💓
Such a nice video again, love the cozy vibe! I've heared about the layoffs, and I'm glad you were not let go! Also you have sooo many goals damn😂i can barely stick to 1 or 2 and even those have to be vague enough. But im happy to see you doing good with them!
thank you!! and haha let’s see how many of my goals i will stick with this year 😮💨
I retired last year, I was the old guy in IT, first company I worked at, we used punch cards still. But I have been through 2 rif with 1 company, other was bought out and I decided not to relocate, so I lost on benefits. Another small company was bleeding money and I left before they started a reduction. Last company did a merge about 6 months after I started, I opted for a relocation to the PNW with the merged companies, it was a good move 28 years later I retired. This has happened a lot to us not working for the big tech companies, but months from now there will be the push to get projects completed and they will once again look at resource allocation, although it may be more via temp services and that has it whole ramp up time.
sarah pan, you literally freaking me out! Your videos are really realistic in life lysm! And also I am Software engineering manager in Microsoft at California.
Love your videos! And for weightlifting advice: I'd say do dynamic stretches before and static after. It looked like you were doing more static stretches before and you want to warm up your body before lifting. There's actual science behind it but I won't bore you with the details. If you'd like to know though, you could look up the benefits to each type of stretch and when to do them:)
ooh i didn’t even know there was a diff between static and dynamic stretches! ty for the advice 🥰
haha I relate with your room sooo much 😂 I clean my room every morning and in the evening it‘s always a mess again 🙃
it happens so quickly 😩
Y'all nail that American gothic picture 🖼️😅
🙌😂
Great video Sarah!
ty!! :)
hi sarah; first time subscriber to you here; i am now retired and living in france, but used to be in a human resources manager; we always had to be so careful when dealing with redundancies, but my fear is that England is becoming like America; They are trying to repeal all the workers rights gained from being part of the EU , so for my friends and family in England I worry; hoping your friend is ok; the anxiety and the fears that arise from redundancy take their toll on peoplex
Are u the type of person to do a clean bit by bit or all at once. Because I like to leave it till it gets super messy then clean it all at once, so I get your situation xD
My desk gets soooo messy for some reason with a bunch of random shit, along with clothes scattered around my apartment. It was super comforting watching you clean lmao I’m a web developer too!!
haha i feel like i’m cleaning all the time now 😅
LOVE this video of yours :)
thank u for watching! :)
a queen

The American gothic part 😅😅😂😂
👀😂
When avocados are not ripe you can put them in a dark place (like inside a cabinet) and the next day they will be ripe. I know you wanted them for that night but just a little tip (:
for your squats, try to keep your back more neutral and less curved (tighter core)
noted! i def have a hard time keeping my back neutral haha
more gym content yesss
🙌
omg the sweater you showed when james said american gothic is adorable where did you get it?? loll
Hello! Where is your cute little coffee sweater from? So cute!!
You can ripe avocados at home by putting them in a paper bag with a couple of apples.
I'm trying to make it a habit of not automatically critiquing every single exercise I see but since you said tips are welcome I will try to be as thorough as possible!
For squats I'd strongly recommend you keep a straight back. You are arching in the side view (your butt is out and your chest is also out) and it makes it look a bit like your top half and bottom half are not moving in sync. To prevent any lower back strain or the risk of injury a forward lean is absolutely fine. Think of your spine as a rigid board. You want to keep it stiff throughout from the back of the skull down to your tailbone. Ribs down, hips tilted neutrally, having your chin tucked down can also help. Make sure the bar isn't sitting on your traps, rather it should be on your upper back.
Also it can help your balance and stability to have your knees and toes slightly pointed out. Parallel knees can lead to knee valgus (when knees collapse inward at heavy load). Wearing flat shoes like Converse or Vans or proper lifting shoes can help. Or just shoes off if you want. How far apart your feet are in your squat depend on your individual biomechanics so play around with your favourite angle and distance.
Otherwise, you look hella strong! I'd direct you at MegSquats for some really indepth videos. She's so great at explaining how to properly do the tiny little minute things that make a good lift.
omg these are amazing tips, thank you SO much!! i’ll keep this in mind for the future :)
Yay another video ❤
🙌
Loving this video! Btw where did you get the cake in the end of the video? It look so good
That's sad with all of those tech layoffs 😔
I also have a clothing pile corner lol
relatable 😅
Love the video! Surprised you cold speak Chinese haha, fan from SG
I like your work videos as I also work in corporate world 😅
woo corporate club 🙌
So jealous of your 9-5 sched! Idk when but it just mostly became 9-6 where I'm from even if I work for international companies :(
nuu long workdays r the worst :( i used to work 9-7 but it got a lot better after i switched teams at my company
Lol @ the youtube vid you guys were watching at the end of the video. Id choose JK 😜
can you share , about your work ,job role , would love to know about it , and your career journey
Love that chair! Where did you get your work desk chair from?
Also watching bling empire NYC
it’s a great binge watch 😅
If you can not gobern your bedroom then how to be organize with the rest..... everything starts with your own room..
Hi! Where is your desk from?
where is your lamp from?
7:52 pause, James is sus 😂
👀
Does anyone know where she purchased the desk chair?
When squatting you should try using an equal amount of force on each leg. You were slightly struggling. To better help with your issue, you should do more reps with lighter weights.
more controlled reps*
noted!! ty for the advice :) i lowered my weights recently and it’s been really helpful!
what's your font used sarah during the introoo? :)
Sarah where did you get your desk?
flexispot! it’s the comhar model :)
天呐原来Sarah是中国人🥹
👋🏻
👋
i wonder if she and her boyfriend has separate rooms... that'll be so cool.
It's cny😅
That's not non-politically correctness to call it Chinese New Year. It's the same reason why English is being called English. The correct way to say it should be Chinese New Year or Lunisolar New Year. Thanks
别太离谱,作为中国人你不知道吗,还是你不想和男朋友吵架
Damn, my Asian cutie...and Pan as in🍳
What’s his secrect? As a fellow ugly boy I’m trying to get myself a baddie like her too 😂
my advice for weightlifting is finding a program you like and doing it! a lot easier than trying to come up with your won workouts
is honey not living with you anymore :(
she’s with my parents! i was housing her for a couple of months while she was having some health problems but she’s much better now 🥰
90% of your room is clothes 🤣🤣
why dye your hair ginger , arnt gingers stereotypically ugly
Hey! We work for the same company ☺️ - Recognized your badge! That letter idea is great!! We don't have any chance (beside LinkedIn) to reach out to former co-workers at all. Would you mind if I pinged you?
Happy to see your videos and not be apart of the layoffs. 🫶🏽
