- A max book load of Power Pistol with a Hornady 110gr XTP bullet only yields about 70% case volume fill. Potentially, the roughly 30% air space can lead to the primer flashing across the top of the powder to create uneven burn or even accelerated burn and pressure spikes. This is not an issue with other powders that have a higher % case volume fill characteristic.
One solution that a viewer reminded be about in the comments on a previous video, was using an inert filler to eliminate the extra air space and hold the powder down against the flash hole. He recommended using drying lint, so that's what I'm testing in this video!
The results were a complete surprise to me though, watch to see the results! Chrono data pics at the end of the video

Does the lint dirty the barell
@@thomasdecember3910 no noticeable changes to the barrel fouling.
Can't hear you
@@thomasdecember3910 My apologies, I was having mic issues. 😢
For some reason the built in mic on my phone overrides my Bluetooth ProEars that I’m normally using as my mic. It’s frustrating, and I usually don’t know till I’m home and start editing.
Good testing 👍🇺🇸
That’s really impressive out of a snubby. I bet they would do well out of a longer barrel
Yea, I should have taken the .357 tracker and tried them but didn’t think about it. Lol
