We will be staying at Kolkol in 2024. We have stayed at a similar place that we can highly recommend called Farm 215 and is located north of Gansbaai.

Hi Sean... great video. I made a booking, and they say no low profile tyres - how bad & long are the roads leading to the pecan pod?
Hey Imtiaaz, that’s awesome - you’re going to love it. The road was not too long and not too bad, but as their site recommends don’t drive it with low profile tires. There is quite a stretch of gravel road from Bot River to the actual entrance to KolKol and then you’ll need to drive a few hundred meters in slightly more bumpy off-road. We were in a standard VW Polo, which was fine. Hope that helps. Enjoy your stay. Cheers, Sean
