God bless you and your Camera Woman My favourite part of the video is in the credits when you gave God the glory for your wheat that is refreshing to see and it encouraged me !
My second favourite part of the video was when you flipped the turbo switch and near as I could tell you almost hit Mach one but you had to slow down a bit to make that turn 😂
    Keep that old iron running!

I ran a 45 back in western Colorado in the 70’s. No cab, very dusty. I rebuilt most of it and some of my best memories are of combining oats

I'm 28(in 3 weeks I will be) and I honestly genuinely wish that times was simpler like a few decades ago. Too much technology these days, just about every industry relies on tech and computers to stay in business, back then in my opinion all ya needed was some mechanical knowledge and a little but a muscle as well as self will power and you could do just about anything.

Its great to see old farm equipment in action.......instead of at the local auction ! But !!!!!!!!!! Its interesting in this case and so many others the farmer finds so many " other " things to do then farm ! Relating to cleaning up...basic maintenance .....repairs around the farm. Then... farmers complain they cant make a living farming.
This video reminds me so much of my own son..... last count....... 17 flat tires on the farm / place. ( I guess the tires are flat so no one steals his equipment ? Spends more time carrying the air bomb around inflating tires then farming. ) Battery cables cracked in need of repair. ( spends more time under the hood trying to make contact with the battery ) . Fight for hours to remove a simple bolt......but no lub. / oil in sight ! A torch... but no gas to operate it with.
Hey......this guy is getin her done though !!!!!!

I love the old combines because there is now GPS harvesting system no computer's to monitor or operate the system. The old combines was built to operate straight forward and the farmers had more freedom and not a robot to the technology.

@@so.md.dirtfarmer2226 okay I will the company's that designs the combines over the years designed and improved the combines until the 1990's when the company's designer's started coming up with the ideal to put electronic controls on the combines upping the cost. The by 2000 the designer's started putting computers to monitor the combined system then GPS to map out there fields for a much better harvesting and more crop yield. This increased the cost to the combines with a price tag of millions of dollars for a computerized piece of farm machinery. Farmers back in the day did not need a computerized GPS field mapping. The farmers just knew how much crops that their fields was going to yield pure acre they knew how many bushes the hopper's would hold pure acre. As far as farming goes many farmers back then farmed thousand's of acre just as the do today the only one differents is the combines none computerized to computerized combines. The millennial generation farmers can't farm without the computerized farm machinery the older generation farmers has learned to adapt. There is one other different's a farmer back then could work on their combined's to they need technicians to work on them.

Absolutely, the so called ''civil war'' was the 2nd war for independence. We fly the flag 'cause we dearly love the south, who were fighting for preserving our rights and freedoms that were outlined in the constitution. We love the south for many other reasons also, southern hospitality, southern cooking, nice friendly people, longer days, warmer weather, etc.....

There is no irony,Our country was found on inpendence and when our gov begins to impede on that independence people revolt .Just the Americans against the British and just like Agricultural based state like primarily in the south against states rights. The government was instituting more and more taxes on the exporting of Agricultural good over season the south didn't like.
