I’m glad it eventually gave you the answer. The exercise taught me a few things about how the app profiles work and that each device needs to be set up separately.
Indeed, I think they’ve made a good go at covering the basics but there’s a lot of details missing allowing a user to have a smooth experience. For instance being active in the teams app means that the console is populated with all the video chat icons, thereby freezing out your other settings on the console until you minimise the app. Adapt-to-app is the setting that creates this scenario, but if you turn it off, there’s no other way to bring up the video chat buttons. There is no documentation that tells you how to trigger these hotkeys for video chats only.
Awesome. I continue to discover more things I can configure for other apps. I might explore the Teams shortcut keys list and figure out some more sets of keys to create on the panel.
There is sooooo much I can configure, per app. I look forward to adapting it to suit my changing needs. The challenge will be to not be too distracted from the actual work 😆
I bought some 3D wall panels from Amazon and fixed them to some garden trellis. I built simple struts to make them stand freely. I can move them around to change my scene. I can light them from different angles and shapes make different shadows. It was time and money well spent to get the look.
Logitech... soft or hard "G"? 🤔 Good one though! This video made me curious enough to definitely wanting to get my hands on one of those now, but the grey version seems hard to come by in NZ at the moment.
Thanks you so much for this - I went around in circles trying to solve this for way too long!

Thanks this was super helpful!

@@DarrellaaS I plan on buying this specifically for Chrome, Teams, and Excel. If you came up with some excel wizardry, I wouldn't complain.
Awesome walkthrough, this looks like a really cool accessory!

Could you map a specific MS Teams button, like mute, to the the general profile that would show up when using an app like Safari?
Sadly no. The Teams API isn’t that smart.
Where did you get the hexagon sound panels behind you?

I pre-ordered. Stock was late coming to my local store so I’m glad it arrived, even if it was a few days after release day
Oh wow, you are right about my mispronouncing Logitech with a soft G. It took someone calling me a dimwit to take notice ☺️
I need less MS Teams in my life not more!
I hear you. Especially when we are a member of many teams and group chats. I might make a button to Leave group chat, just for convenience 😆
