How To - Defender 2.4 Puma Servicing | Injectors & Engine Maintenance

In this video I give my engine some crucial maintenance work. I decided to do this ready for the summer and also because I am trying to trouble shoot some engine breathing issues. I have excessive pressure chuffing through the oil filler cap.
I sourced all my parts from Empire Tuning who were very helpful in getting me the parts out next day delivery so I could do the servicing work on the weekend. Huge thank you to them!

I also gave the engine its regular oil service along with air filter and fuel filter. a maintained engine is crucial right?
I hope this video helps you if you are considering doing the work yourself, its basic mechanics and I would say intermediate at worst. I cut the seats to make the copper washers seal better and this has definitely improved how smooth the engine runs.

Great video! I'm doing the same job next week.
But where did you get the 6nm torque number?
The LandRoverMonthly guide says 8Nm and then 180 degrees.
My workshop guide also says 8Nm.

I am not sure what size unfortunately. I borrowed a kit and picked one that fit the best. Easy job so don’t worry about it.
