I would say Melee Trunks deserves that costume. As just like Z Broly That Bojacc costume for trunks would add another new Hair Transformation appearance. As his SSJ fully extends in that form but with his hair tie SSJ Hair doesn't fully extend because of the tie just like in the Anime. But in all honesty I wouldn't mind it being on both just as you pointed out. Trunks fought both without & With having his sword in that Battle.

if they do add gt characters if they add gt kakarot they better add gt Vegeta or the game will be half good and half bad if we get Kakarot(GT) and not Vegeta(GT) then the game will only be half good and half bad but if they add Vegeta(GT) then the game will be completely good
