I'm surprised that no scotch bonnets were used but I'm guessing they were in the pre made jerk marinade
Same pimento seeds. Could be in the pre mix as well idk
This is Colorado Springs. Just a hint of the scotch bonnet or you have no customers.
I have never ever seen curry goat cooked like that. I'm on the fence with this one, but would definitely test it as it looks good on the plate.
that mi a seh too.. lol
@@andremoodie1452 what lol
Same thing I was saying. First I ever see curry goat cook like that
@@andremoodie1452 dis no authentic at all, I don't know what coloring she a talk bout for rice and peas
@@terriiberrii26 she prepared it beforehand you have to remember everyone doesn't show there recipes also it's in that jar she rubb
I couldn't be vegan with that kind of art on the plate. But man those plantains look amazing
I am surprised that she cooks the curried goat like that. Jamaicans season their goat with the curry and all the spices and let it marinate before cooking it.
Right ..... Caribbean people dont cook freshly butchered meat without seasoning at least for some hours.
"Could we just crumble up Rolaids and throw them in there now???" Awesome line!!! The dishes look great!
Caribbean food is my fav cuisine of all cuisines!
Different strokes for different folk. If she cooked it like that in Jamaica, she would definitely need to season the food beforehand.
No disrespect but I ent never cook my curry goat or jerk without pimento and scotch Bonnet ta rass
This isn't authentic jamaican food first of all she has committed a cardinal sin you should never ever ever ever cook curry goat without seasoning it first and leaving it overnight
You are so correct!
I also agree
AGREE. I do it with my curry chicken
@@jackiebourg6869 nothing taste better than when you season yu meat from ova night failing that let the seasoning stay on the meat for a good few hours
Absolutely. And we don't add any red seasoning to the rice and peas 🤔
First of all we don't use anything to color our rice and peas , the peas already give it it's color
Probably she used the colouring because she used little peas. There was barely any peas in the rice.
Wheres the scotch bonnet at
Already pre made
Looks absolutely banging
Very different method to the curry goat but I've made it this way a few times and it tastes very authentic...
This was fun to watch.🇯🇲I am hungry now.
Guy looks like he's trying not drool!😅🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now I’m hungry 😂
Looks so nice! Love DDD!
This reminds me of the fun atmosphere i got at marcels submarine sandwich shop in boothbay harbor Maine! You should check them out!
No green seasoning to marinate?! No scotch bonnet pepper? ISSA no
She pre made them
This is a lie this is not how Jamaicans do their Curry goat. I'm so disappointed in this video
@@brittanygayle3721 she said she uses premade Jamaican paste Wich is blended peppers and other. Stuff so it can penetrate the meat
This isn't jamaïcain food fr no green seasoning n scotch
@@ianmoroz2737 look at it again she had blended them into a past she said it if u listen 👂 all the Jamaican jerk spice is in the jar. Just becouse you don't see it doesn't mean it's there
One love ...
As long as you hear the names claudette and glenroy...it's ligit
Me no like goat... very stringy with strong taste
1.30am and my mouth is watering
“We call everything peas we don’t have beans” 2 seconds later
“Add kidney beans”
She'd never say beans to fellow Jamaicans. She kept in mind the audience.
Go Jamaica. The spice must flow.
I loved it 😋😋😋
Wheres the scotch bonnet and allspice?
But way de seasoning dey and what colour that ?.what red seasoning to colour the rice and peas really
Not the most authentic but I guess given the availability of resources needed might have affected how this was prepared.
Peas is supposed to add the color, Y'all don't use enough peas Use more peas that's how we do it. not spice to add color, I'm ashamed of you all for not using enough peas in rice and peas
Americans don't know any better! LOL
Don't think it's the amount is the problem, look like them cook the peas and through away the water
That’s not real Jamaican cooking, that’s peas and rice and goat curry 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This comment took me out. She mixed up the menu .... back to front indeed 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That look pretty good.
someone should do the same to guy what he was doing to the cook but this time with an egg.....lol
Sorry, but that’s not how we Jamaican cook our Curry goat🤨🤨 all seasoned salt yuh add in a it😡😡 that curry want all kinda seasoning on it.....

All a this which part a Jamaica them people get them cooking from no jamaican nuh cook like that all a what she just cook affi marinate overnight and use pepper premento and jerk seasoning
I don't think she's Jamaican, if she is she wasn't taught to cook
How does she not eat meat?
Guy. No no. Don, t do anymore
He needs to go to certain areas of india to taste the real curry flavours
That is real curry flavor.🙄
Betapac Curry from Jamaica is the best Curry on the planet. No disrespect to India but Jamaica Curry goat, Curry Chicken, curry shrimp and Curry grouper fish is next level. Remember that England are the ones that created the meat pie and Jamaica took it to the next level and created Jamaican beef patties. England were the ones that created the Plum cake and Jamaica took it to the next level and created Black cake. So yes, Curry originated out of India but Jamaica Curry dishes are next level. I don't think there are any Indian dishes that are going to taste as great as Jamaican curry goat, Curry shrimp, Curry chicken and Curry fish. Especially when the Jamaican chef uses Betapac Curry. There are thousands of Indian people living in Jamaica and they cook the Jamaican way not the Indian way like they do in Guyana and Trinidad. The Caribbean spices are more flavorful which makes the food taste better. Scotch bonnet peppers and pimento wood and pimento leaves and pimento berries are not used in Indian cooking. So right there you are at a disadvantage. India is a much bigger country than Jamaica so base on that your frozen foods etc will be in more supermarkets and you will have more restaurants worldwide but that is quantity. But if you are talking about flavor and quality, Jamaica and Caribbean cooking will win everytime.
@@NP-zs5ui in India that land grows spices that makes the flavours and spiciness that makes the curry taste perfect
Indian curry isn't that great
@@ya-cc7bl Jamaica Tumeric and Ginger is rated at the top in the world. Turmeric is used to make curry. If Jamaica Tumeric is rated very high, then the Curry will be rated very high.
not authentic at all
At all
👎🏾
This woman knows nothing about real Jamaican food
Fake Jamaican food.
This guy is so exaggerated
Yep they called it Jamaican food but really it's African food cuz 99.9% of the people that live in Jamaica originated from Africa cuz it's the same food that you'd find in the western parts of Africa so quit calling it Jamaican food and called West Africa food
You are dreaming, lol!
You are wrong. It's 100% Jamaican food.
