i have a 2017 ram 1500. new engine. man i would love to have your input on this because im planning on doing hotshot with this truck. i would like to just conversate with you about this particular set up
I am right along with you on this. I also have a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500. I want to do this too. I need to get a: 1. DOT Number put on the Truck. 2. MC Number 3. Get a business registration. 4. Business Insurance. 5. Take a Notary class for tax purposes. So far that is all I know. I need to know how to work the "Job Boards" on the "Apps." Then I can be set and ready to roll.
They don’t want you to call because their probably in Pakistan or somewhere out of the US. All dispatchers should have to be licensed and be a U.S citizen. The one Broker that makes money teaching people Brokering and had one of his students on his show and the student is on track to do 4 million this year in brokering/ dispatching From his office in India & saying how they have work from like midnight on because of the time differences. Another time a women from another Country on his video saying she did 20 something thousand last week dispatching.
@@steadytrucker I won’t out this other guy on UA-cam but he is so thankful to work for an overseas company dispatching him from Moldova and I find that ridiculous. How is it legal to do that? I can’t work for a Canadian trucking company but this company is employing Americans and gaining from the fruits of our labor. It’s beyond me.
@@CForged that's the American dream I guess but it's disappointing that all the profits go overseas and the people are probably paying their employees 20 cents an hour
The one I was talking about is NOT “THE AMERICAN DREAM” but the India Dream. They are based in India and the Owner & employees are in India. That’s why I’m pi$$ed. you have to have a MC, DOT, License etc. A Barber has to have a license. BUT license or not, I say Nobody but American Citizens. Ok, I feel better now!
You really are steady trucking. You don't let anything stop you. Much respect to you sir
Lol. Not too many highs or lows.
Thank you . I came across you by accident and I already appreciate what you’re saying. I will be vigilant.

Do you have to pay commercial insurance in your 1/2 ton truck ??
yes indeed, agents still want to see all the same insurance coverages as a big truck,
@@steadytrucker thank you l
With those half ton loads do you have to add the straps to the trailer or is it a cuff for you to already do it and do you tarp
What is the max weight you can haul?
