It's back , outlander the best show ever . Thank you so much for your reaction I really enjoyed watching it . I hate when jamie and claire separate ,nothing good ever happens when they are apart . Thanks again 😊❤
Yes ! And we’re back. I am so happy to be back in Lallybrock again. The actress playing the new Jenny is good but I miss Laura Donnelly. Loved her chemistry with Sam Heughan. I read the books too and I get frustrated when they fast forward events and change some characters. It loses the impact of the event. When I first heard about the casting, I was expecting a 6’5 actor like the book Jamie then I saw Sam and Catriona together and fell in love with them. Bree was supposed to be very tall in the book.
Evi!! So nice to see you back to OL! hahaha... I didn't have ANY time to read when my kids were that age, so good for you! Courage! This episode is a good reminder why never to wear eye makeup while watching Outlander, eh?! 😂😭 I love your empathy towards all the characters! As cold as Laoghaire seems, she must have also been a good mother, because both daughters turned out really well. I, too, hope that she finds closure now. I don't think we'll see her again, who knows. But I feel like Jamie did get his closure... he said his "sorry", and found out her side of things (how she felt like he never needed her and she wanted to be needed).
Remember, Buck wasn't born until after the witch trial. They talked about Rogers Dad more throughout the books than they did in the show. Nice to see you back. This 1st episode is really good. Can't wait for your reactions to the next episode.
I laughed so hard at the very beginning of the first book cause at some point she said that she would ride Jamie like a horse or something like that and I was like you know what... same
You're back, along with Outlander! I have no idea how you made it through that last scene with Old Ian saying his goodbyes, I was literally opening WEEPING watching this, a hot mess lol! Still remember the joke I had with John Bell (Ian) when I met him earlier this year in Melbourne- I asked him if Ian was ready for his arse-whooping from Jenny when he returned. John said Ian wasn't, but he sure was lolol!
So so glad you are back!!🥰 The guy Leighaire was caught kissing wasn’t Joey. In the book, when Jamie asks, she tells him and it was a guy that was married!
Evie is back doing "Outlander" reactions. Time has healed. Life is great, and peace has fallen all over the world. As always, I love your reactions Evie. And I just adore your protection of Jamie and Claire. They're going to need it this go around. Sending love and light to you and yours at this time of year. Merry Christmas. The "new" Jenny was the other choice other than Laura Donnelly. Had things gone the other way, Kristin Atherton would have been Janet. So I guess what was shall be. Or something like that.
Continue to read the books. You will be pleasantly surprised at how much is left out or altered for the Starz series. Like most stories that are taken from a book, creative differences exist. Books are always more descriptive and provide more about the characters.
Recommendation for you to react to ANNE OF GREEN GABLES 1985 and its sequels ANNE OF GREEN GABLES THE SEQUEL 1987/ANNE OF AVONLEA WHATEVER YOU WOULD LIKE TO CALL THE 2nd movie, the 3rd film ANNE OF GREEN GABLES THE CONTINUING STORY 2000 and the 4th and final movie of this series ANNE OF GREEN GABLES A NEW BEGINNING 2008 which is about a older Anne during WW2 a older actress plays a older Anne but it is part of the 3 other films.
I don’t feel sorry for Loaghaire, her daughters may love her, and her them but she never really loved Jaimie, you need to read the books. Jaimie only goes to see her to apologise, as he knows he shouldn’t have married her as he never loved her. He had tried to apologise before (book 3) but she shot him before he could, and he goes to see her to do that. He doesn’t see her after that again. Joan does meet up with him and Claire later, but Joan doesn’t insult Claire in the book, she does tell them that her mother is holding her dowry and wishes her to marry someone he doesn’t want to, that she wants to be a nun, and that her mother will not let her. She doesn’t like her mother’s relationship with her lover and their behaviour around their home. It’s not true that Jaime has a hold on Balringin he never did in the books, and it has never been the reason why Loaghaire hasn’t wed anyone, she has been making Jaimie keep her by paying upkeep for her through the years, and the payments would stop once she wed. It is Claire who sorts everything out later, when Loaghaire turns up to see her, as Marsala has written to her and asks her in the letter to go and tell mother Claire that her young son Christian is having problems breathing and that she only wants Claire and no one else to help him. This is the real reason Claire goes back to America. It is Claire that makes her allow Joan to follow her calling and at the same time consent to stop the upkeeping payments Jaime has been making, by getting Loaghaire finally getting married. Jaimie and Claire do not meet up Loaghaire over the arrangements but with the lawyer, with whom they agree with a changes that Joan wants to make pertaining to the dowry Jaime have her. She wants to give her mother 10 pound annually from it for the upkeep of Balringin and the assurance that it is not spent on anything else, she also want the property only go to her mother and her new husband not to have any rights to it.
Geillis said to Claire the day she died that she had never met another time-traveler. The show/books make it clear that time-travelers are common enough (and seem to always coincidentally find each other) that she probably HAS met others, but it's not something that one advertises. She's a seriously creepy woman, so it's not surprising that no one trusted her enough to tell her. Claire didn't. Geillis figured it out from Claire's mannerisms, modern medical knowledge, and finally, she felt the vaccination scar on her arm when they were sleeping in the thieves' hole next to each other. So we already know Roger isn't going to tell Geillis the truth. I don't blame you for being so annoyed by Laoghaire. As Murtagh said in season 1, "She'll be a lass until she's 50," meaning she's going to stay immature for an embarrassingly long time. I have sympathy for her situation. Jamie made a huge mistake taking on her punishment because it led her to believe 1, that he belonged with her and 2, that she could escape the consequences of her bad actions. Then Jamie was making out with her all over the castle, then married someone else, then when he finally did marry her, it was for her girls, not for her. Jamie certainly had things to apologize for. He should have stayed away from her every time they crossed paths because his heart ALWAYS belonged to Claire, and it was crappy of him to lead her on in all those ways. Yes, I realize Jamie was young and inexperienced, so he didn't realize the damage his actions would cause back at Leoch, and then 20 years later, he was lonely and desperate after the loss of Faith, Claire, Bree, and William, and thought he could fill that hole with Laoghaire, Marsali, and Joan. The only good things that came of all this was that Marsali and Joan did gain a father, Marsali got Fergus and children, and Joan's going to be able to live her dream to be a nun. So at least the next generation didn't inherit all this bad blood between Claire and Laoghaire.
It’s old Alec that tells Claire that Loaghaire will be a girl into her 50’s and would be all wrong for Jaime in the first book, not Murtagh. This whole tv series is inaccurate in so many ways.
@@MeyaRoseGirl Roger can’t and doesn’t tell Geillis anything in the book that would jeopardise the future, he is also very careful around Brian and Jenny, for the same reason. It is inaccurate to say that he was making out all over the castle with Loaghaire, she was the doing the running around, he was working as a groom in that stables most of the time. He was never interested in anyone but Claire. There is only the one time in the first book that Claire accidentally sees him and Loaghaire on his lap, in the alcove covered by the tapestry, and nothing else in the book. The only thing he feels guilty about is that he shouldn’t have married her as he had never loved her. He did return back from Helswater in a very depressed state of mind having left William in the care of John, and hadn’t really wanted to wed anyone, it was his sister who engineered getting him married to Loaghaire. I would recommend that if you are reading through the Outlander books that you read The Scottish Prisoner which is one of the Lord John books that Diana Gabaldon wrote after or before Voyager, as Jamie narrates quite a lot of it, the book cover some of his time as a groom at Helswater along with him being taken to London for awhile, and then to Ireland by John then back to his job as groom again.
Geillis is not related to Jemmy, Roger is a MacKenzie. But..... someone else that is there is related ( closely) to her. Great to see you again after 68 weeks !
What a thrill to have you back! It's the icing on the cake of having Outlander back. Another fine reaction.

She didn't get barbecued because She was pregnant... with Buck Mackenzie, who is standing at Her door with Roger. O.o

What do u think of the new "Jenny"
I think she's fine! I'm very attached to the old Jenny but I'm excited to see more of new Jenny :)
I liked Laura Donnelly as Jenny better than Kristin Atherton. Too bad Laura Donnelly found a leading role.
The audiobooks might be easier for you.

Geillis Duncan is related to Jimmy. She is Roders 5th Great-Grandmother.
