This may be my favorite video to make every year. I spend way too much time on it. It is an exhaustive search through the Football Manager database to compile an incredible list of very high potential players that won’t cost you much at all. In fact, they only cost $5 million on Football Manager.
You may not be here just to buy these players, which is fair, totally get it, interesting list of the top 20 hidden wonderkids would get me too. This is a list of great wonderkids that you haven’t heard about that you almost certainly will, as every one of them has the potential to be a regular for a good team in a top five league in Europe. Literally, every single one of them, so that’s good you don’t have to pick and choose.

Got Gloukh in my Hamburg save after finding him in the NXGN. In about 50 Games for the Club he has 49 GA and is my best player worth about 110 Million. Really love this guy 👍
When i saw him first time was like 3 or 4 years after in my save… I thought it was a regen 🤣. Yes he is really good

@@bkak2245 just go on shouting, go to players, and search for potential or potential ability. I went for potential ability which has the numbers and I just went down from 200 and looked at all the keepers, their wages and if they wanted to join. Found Nwosu, he wanted a loan, signed him and gave him that loan to help further his development.
@@deem9345 just go on scouting, go to players, search for potential and go through all the 4*+ potential keepers and you’ll find him. In your save, you might find a better keeper for that.
Bergvall has recently moved to Djurgarden in the Swedish Premier Division and in Sweden he’s regarded as one of the biggest talents
Djurgården came 2:nd in allsvenskan (swedish premier leauge) the season that just ended. Djurgården also won it's uefa conference leauge group with 5 wins and 1 draw. Lucas Bergvall in fact did a really good choice to play for Djurgården the second best team in all of uefa conference league group stage. Only West Ham united manged to get more points.
I wished he had moved to the team I support which is hammarby instead which came 3:rd in allsvenkan (Swedish perimier leauge).
And here's me, watching this video having Ndlovu, Ngom and N'Diaye in my team in Tunisia and being proud of my scouts
how do you get these sort of leagues in fm like tunisia and other nations, Africa for example only has South Africa for me, is there a database download or something?

A "hidden" one from Germany, at Schalke is Assan Ouedraogo. You can buy him in the first season for cheap, because of Schalke's finances, and if you give him playing time on loan or in your first team, he becomes a beast. Can play CM, CAM or as a Striker.
I actually play him as a CWB/ML and he is world class

Brayan Alcocer from Venezuela and Anders Borset from Norway turned out to be very good in my save, also. I am in 2026 and Andres Borset is rated as a wonderkid. Signed him for 3.7 million euros and bids were going as high as 5 million euros. Nice CB abilities.

Sadly, a lot of these will not be available after the update. For example Bergvall just joined Djurgården (should still be cheap a year afterwards, but not as cheap), Gkoukh joined RB Salzburg etc.
Gloukh just got signed by Salzburg as per Romano, def one to watch now in real life
According to the Israeli media he still hasn't signed but the deal will be done sometime today.

Great list, will search them all next time I'm in the game. I bought Wilmer Odefalk from Brommapojkarna very cheap and he's been helping my 1860 München to get promoted to Bundesliga. He is still growing and I'm pretty sure he has a potential between 130-160. Unfortunelty he plays for Djurgården (yep, same as Bergvall) after the update and might be a bit more expensive.
Got Gloukh for 2.1 million euros in my Dortmund save. He played a major part in our 3 champion league wins.
He was very salary-heavy in my save. Demanded regular starter at liverpool at 18 years old....come on man....
I have a Hellas verona save where he is on AC Milan and he scores a late winner or equalizer against me every time we play them
the stats you see on Nwosu varie a lot. I have saves where he starts with 14 reflexes and saves where he has 8. And the height changes drastically save to save as well

as a malaysian (a rival of the thai national team), it may become a pain in the ass to face the thais in the future, but there are quite a fair bit of good youngsters in thailand and that there are thai football clubs that focuses on youth development... not to mention that jude soonsup bell (a chelsea wonderkid who recently signed for tottenham) could technically also play for thailand, if he declares for them that is

I found Nwosu where I was just searching players by attributes and putting in the search for under 21's and dropping the attributes by 1 each time until someone pops up. Nwosu was the first to pop up when searching attributes for sweeper keeper
I like the fact that my scouts found most of the ones by the top in my very first save. Bought Ghoukh, Fofana (a guy you didn't include, don't really know why), Gulliksen and Schjelderup the first season at Leeds, they grew enough to be among my best players after a year and a half. I got in Bergvall and Nwosu as soon as I could (had to wait until they were 18). Feels like the scouts are doing a decent job this year.
Fofana isnt really hidden though.
@@sugarkookiewithsometae4245 I mean, neither are a couple of these by now. In the game you can buy him for less than 5 mil from the norwegians. That's hidden enough. The fact that he is now with Chelsea just shows his class.
Fofana plays for Chelsea now, he also didn't mention Schjelderup because he was on a previous video and plays for Benfica now.
@@marioferreira6207 Yeah but a couple of the players on this list has gotten their big moves now. The video was about who you can sign on the current version of the game, not which ones you can sign after the database update.
Feeling pretty smug that I found Nwosu and Edwards myself 😂. Amazing list, will definitely look into some of these
Haraldsson turned into a model citizen on my save (I haven't signed him yet...), Nagalo and Oscar Gloukh are constantly recommended to me too. I'm playing as Hajduk Split in Croatia - Stipe Biuk and Ante Crnac (1m release clause from Slaven Belupo) have turned into UCL level wingers for me. Fer Nino (~5-10m) is a great striker I signed from Mallorca (I think) and he's lighting up the league too. I signed a CM from Red Star called Sljivic and he is described by the media as a wonderkid - you can get him for around ~5m too. Another bargain (~5m) is LW Ibrahim Adel who plays for Pyramids FC - he is also lighting up the UCL for me.
Randomly had Nwosu show up on scouting report in 2nd tier of Spain (might've even been in 3rd at time I first found him) and signed him on a free. Hopefully I can get a good development curve out of him

Thanks Zealand. Signed Gulliksen, Mella and Krattenmacher at the start of my Mallorca save. Had to wheel and deal like a peak Harry Rednapp due to financial issues. Great players for me three seasons in and going to make a chunk of change from them this transfer window with the big boys sniffing around them.
makes me so happy to see that i have most of these in my deportivo la coruna save (apart from david mella and nathaniel nwosu who i sold for a combined £13 million in my first la liga season)
I had a guy named Tarick Ximines from Jamaican league signed for 2k and he is good enough to play in pl if he develops well. Also, Hidalgo might be the best young striker in the game

Jurado is a star boy already at Necaxa. When the last manager (who also was the Mexico U23 manager) didn’t play him over a failing foreigner, the fans called for his sacking (mixed in with poor resolutes). He is young and already has 1-2 seasons with the first team and if Lillini can work on him the same way he did with the youth at PUMAS, he should turn out to a decent player…
I turned Edwards into a possession based right back at Watford in the Championship and he was one of my best players. Definitely one to watch in the future.

I think Andrew Shue (the actor) played for Highlanders. After Dartmouth, he moved to Zimbabwe, won the league and cup. Played for Galaxy while still on Melrose Place.
I signed Odin Tiago Holm in my Parma save and I think he definitely got the higher end of that range cause dude is a beast. Easily gets around 10 goals and 10 assists a season in Seria A.
One of my favorite wonderkids is Cade Cowell from the MLS. He is on the SJ earthquakes and plays well as a striker with through balls. He does struggle in the air but just set low crosses and you'll be golden
First of all great video Z !!!! And now the question why can't we have this kind of scouting stats ingame? Why the scout can't tell me that this player potential ability is somewhere between 140-160 or 110-140 ? I believe that star rating isn't accurate enough .

I want to share a wonderkid striker that has relegation candidates Stuttgart in 3rd place with 3/4 of the season gone: August Mikkelsen. Playing him as an AF/PF in a 4231 with Kjaergaard from Salzburg behind him as a SS, he has 22 goals in 25 appearances and leading the Bundesliga with 19 goals in 23 matches. He is phenomenal. I have played him as an AF/PF all season despite AM R being his 'best' position, but it's handy because he can shift out there if you need to shuffle subs late on etc. I play every match on comprehensive, I don't sim any matches so these are all 3D match engine goals. Got him from Tromso for 4.3m pounds all up front.
Fabricio Diaz will be amazing in real life as well. Captain of Uruguay U20 who look really strong and already has 100 senior appearances. He has also been a major part of Liverpool's recent success as they win the Campeonato Uruguayo Apuerta and Intermedio.
He will be an important player for Uruguay in a few years. Valverde, Bentancur, Ugarte, Diaz will be a brilliant rotation.
I recently did a save with Coruna and managed to keep Mella on a new deal as we progressed (even though he did ask to leave a couple of times) and contributed double digits in 4 seasons in a row in the top flight, including 16 assists in the first season we qualified for the UEL
I am so proud. I have Nathaniel Nwosu in my VVV-Venlo save did not expect to see him on this list
Krattenmacher has been a great force on my team, banging in goals in both the bundesliga and the champions league while playing as a shadow striker
I signed Prince Ndlovu for $400 for my Coventry City save (for old times sake) and gave him the no.7 and turned out to be one hell of a signing.
I signed Gulliksen on FM22 and let me tell you! Oh boy he got good!
Currently persuing Bergvall on my Tromso save on FM23 so glad to see him make the list too!

Hi Zeeland i don't know if you came across my 2 favourites that fall into that category, Breno Bidon from Brazil is under contract but is always free agent on January first season and Daniil Savin is the other player but to get him loaded you need to have all Ukrane players because his reputation is local so he never shows up with large database, he is a free agent
Libasse Ngom is amazing, got him for 76k to Las Palmas in the first season and was starting quality in the spanish second division right away... Right now is my main striker playing in the Europa League

just finished my first season with Deportivo, smoked the league and David Mella and Kevin were both part of my first team by the end of the season. Mella ended the season having only played about half of it with the most assists in my team. Goalscoring was difficult for him though

Holm is very good. I did a Valarenga/Norway national team coach and he was a superstar for both. I had Nwosu as on that team as well, my scout got an A+ for that find.
Nicolo Tresoldi deserves a shout imo! He is already at a really good level and has huge potential! Price at the star is between 1,5-5M

I bought #3 Fabrício Díaz for Fluminense in my 2020 FM save (that I'm still playing). €425k. Never became what I thought at the time. Played most of his career at Moreirense in Portugal.

If you want another Norwegian player for this years FM, Jasper Torkhildsen is an insane GK, I might have lucked out in my save, but the pure amount of green attributes he gave me after just a few seasons are stupid.

I find it funny you mentioned Ugarte when you were talking of Diaz... in my save Sporting signed Diaz from Uruguay's LFC for 1,7M€ and now he plays WITH Ugarte.

The RNG on Nwosu can be pretty spectacular. He usually does turn into a good keeper even when he stats low

i signed oscar got him with 153 PA in about a year he hit that potential. One person Ive signed the past 2 years is North Korean Striker Han Kwang Son and has been a steal at the start of every save ive been apart of
Gloukh is amazing in my Sporting Portugal save. Bought for 3M, he's won NXGN50, Golden Boy, UCL U21 best player, Portugal POTY, Portugal YPOTY. Amazing technically, special special player.
In my safe MTDU released Ivan Azon on a free and has been my top goal scorer at Marseilles for the past three seasons. Absolute goat

It's easy to find glouk he appeared on the wonderkids list for me at the end of my first season as psg I bought him to fill in for Messi on the right wing. Then I quit 6 months later and restarted my Chorley save but with 10 nations added cos I'm a noob and didn't know you had to add other leagues.
Turned Ronnie Edwards into a Half Back/DM in one save. He was phenomenal there.

Tried to get Gloukh on my Bodo/Glimt save transfer fee is very affordable but wages demands are too high, I even tried to play with wage budget but my board won't let me offer near what he wants. Shame he looks immense. I have gulliksen on loan from West Ham a few years in as I missed him initially and need homegrown players due to league restrictions... very good player. I actually tend to play him in CM but he's great as a versatile option. Unfortunately my laptop sucks so can't play FM adding that many leagues so I probably won't see many of these until I can afford better.

Sadly Joris Manquant is no longer avaliable to sign straight away following the recent Winter Update. However you can loan him and get him for 2.2 Mil next season. Tried with Getafe
Brommapojkarna translates to Bromma Boys. Most people in Sweden call them BP for short and even themselves try to just in more in their mediaoutput since it's excludes the girl teams in the club. It's probably the best talentmaker club in Sweden, so it can be good to learn how to say their name.
On the pronuncitation Brom-ma-pojk-arna. Pojk is with a hard k, close to StoitjKov, and the arna is more in the same sense as the start of Arna-utovic. Bromma you did a good job on though. 😊
Been scouting Glouk since day dot and did everything in my power to get him not knowing he was in this video. Club didn’t have good enough rep and he’s just signed for Marseille 😢
All Coventry City fans would know of Highlanders as being the club the Sky Blues gave £5,000 to for the services of Peter Ndlovu. Not only was he one of the best wingers in Cov's history, he was rumoured to be the most fertile...🤣🌹♥

Al-Aswad actually turned into a baller in my MLS journeyman save.
Signed Krattenmacher in Freiburg save for 72k, proper goalscorer and his playmaking ability is decent, sadly sold him to Lens for 60 mil, because they were offering higher salary.
In my current save I found Amadou N'Diaye in 2025 and was able to acquire him for a paltry 1.5M from a Ukrainian club (Polissia). Instantly my 1st team left back as a newly promoted club to the Championship. 12 out of 10 recommend.
MY BOY HARALDSSON! Signed him on a free transfer after he failed at Leicester for Sarpsborg 08 in the Eliteserien (Norwegian League), won player of the year for me in my league win and got him on only £1.6k a week. Beautiful player
