When Activision released the trailer for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, A lot of people were asking the company to make remasters for the Spyro franchise. Let's see if Activision will listen to their fans.
In my opinion, this game is not that bad. Yes, the story is not the greatest, but the combat, multiplayer, and flying around the world are quite fun! If you really are confused about the story, then play A New Beginning and Eternal Night.
If anything, Activision screwed Spyro over when they gained the rights and they're not letting them go. Still, this is nowhere near as bad to what Activision did to Crash Bandicoot...
I'd be curious to hear your opinion on Spyro A New Beginning or A Hero's Tail as those were on the Xbox as well. As a semi-nostalgic Spyro fan who owns a Wii copy of this game I agree with the points you made here. You didn't miss anything with the 2-player mode, it's hilariously bad
I agree that the guy who made the review did an awful job and all.. I mean who knows if he even played any of the other games? He just wanted to complain about the price of a game for no reason whatsoever. But there really are some issues with the game. Like, I think that more linear maps would have worked out a lot better in the end. And co-op doesn't exactly flow well.. I still enjoyed it though. Also note that I've been playing Spyro games for my whole life essentially.
Perhaps the story would make a bit more sense if you didn't start with the 3rd game in a trilogy. And that orchestral music that's more fit for a "hollywood movie?" It's meant to fit the tone of this series, although I can't blame you too much for not getting that too, seeing as how you only briefly went through about 2 levels of the 3rd game(not to mention your complaints about already getting lost). Obviously enough, the Legends series isn't meant to be as "cartoony" or lighthearted as the older Spyro games. But if the gameplay issues present from what little you played are enough for you to dislike it, that's respectable; it definitely has its flaws there. Still though, calling this review half-assed would probably be giving it too much credit if I'm honest. It's severely lacking in any research, or much effort at all for that matter.
I mean if you have issues with confusing level design and maps not being present then honestly you shouldn't play anything over 13 years old. Some of the BEST games are non linear and quite confusing to get through. If you seriously think that someone sitting in front of a TV trying to get through a level is a waste of time, then why do you play video games at all. That's 90% of gaming.
Haven't even considered playing this before tbh, but my *god* it looks pretty fucking bad (as in, boring and bad level design)... And 30-40 used? Fucking hell dude, sounds almost as bad as Nintendo's used game prices... Also, I may get quite a bit of hate for this, but I couldn't help but get bored of the series after finishing the first game anyway. Idk, the games just felt kinda repetitive to me (except for the different stories which I never really cared much about) :/
I enjoyed TLoS.. Though they do have their flaws. And this guy clearly doesn't even like the originals. Not to mention he only reviewed this game for the price.
This dude is on every gamer cringe video out there and every food review cringe comp
that moment when you find some one trying to be funny but failing realy hard

Not really, Spryo only really fell apart in the skylanders era. The LOS games are actually pretty good.
Don't worry spyro he's just a HATER
I love this game! 💜
You can't handle the truth kid
Do you like my Ford Taurus 1996

At least it's better than Enter the Dragonfly?
No, enter the dragonfly is better.
Spyro 1-3 or GTFO
@@ragnarok3253 you can't handle the truth
Will you review the remastered Crash game?
He sold his PS4.
TheRazorBlade Gaming how does that make any sense so basically if you sold your PS4 you're a noob
Hopefully not
Since he no longer has a PS4, no. Even then, it would just be another shitty "review", nothing to be excited about
Please do the Titan Crash Duology.
crash of the titans is way better than this
Honestly, I wasn't a big fan of Spryo. The only Spyro game I've played was Enter the Dragonfly back then on PS2.

I heard Insomniac stopped making them after 3 because they ran out of ideas and struggled to come up with a good concept for the third one even.
So does this mean that you're also gonna rip the shit out of Skylanders soon?
The trilogy good but i actully like dawn of dragon the games not bad at all
this is the one review I'll actually agree with, everyone knows that Spyro went bad after the original trilogy
Not really, only classic spyro fanboys say that.
most people i've met online that know about the LoS games actually like them, me included.
I enjoyed TLoS.. Though they do have their flaws. And this guy clearly doesn't even like the originals. Not to mention he only reviewed this game for the price.
fu
Spyro is just a Five Nights at Freddy's clone.
Nice scripts I like them
Halo sucks
