Thank you for this video. I came out to my sister and two friends but I am thinking about talking to a few other friends and relatives. Partly because I want them to know what it is in case they have it and don't know. Its rare but its not that rare. If the stats are true then I should know other women with LS and they may not know they have it. I also have several female cousins. I need to first work up the courage to ask my mom if she has it/has heard of it. But Im not ready. I hope to reach remission before I talk to her. I dont want her to worry about me and she is typically very private. Thank you again for the video. I appreciate you sharing your time, talent and experience with us.
I love this, and yes, I agree. Part of why I share with others is so they know what to look out for with themselves, or their partners, children, etc. As you know, early diagnosis is so important and can prevent so much damage from happening. Thus, I figure if someone is able to use this knowledge to get diagnosed earlier, the better. Totally understand with your mom. You'll know in your heart and body when the time is right
