- Live from the Soldier Field, Chicago,IL during Bridges to Babylon US tour 1997. This is the 1st time ever keith Richards play this song live since the release of Emotional Rescue album. I got this DVD from a friend of mine in Ireland. Excellent show. Enjoy!!

Keith has gone on to write other ballads that he sang on later Stones albums and on his own releases. But this is his greatest. It's my favourite off of Emotional Rescue. Compared to other tunes on this album it rings the truest.
And yet, probably the least known of Stones songs sung by him.
And pretty sure this song was written about Anita Pallenberg, his soon to be ex partner in 1979. That relationship was every bit tempestous as his relationship with Mick.
Man, this song with Keith has such an intimate atmosphere, so melancholic and yet so romantic, so "late at night and that band playing for half a dozen lonely bohemians".

My hero - Keith....he is so talented......this is a beautiful slow moving song... ya sway to it. He did, leave out a line, After Dogs, he sings "You're the first to get blamed.. always the last bitch to get tamed" - I guess he either forgot or decided it was a little to harsh ........but I noticed hehe

Como yo soy un verdadero fan de los Rolling Stones y del señor Keith Richards en particular, que es mi ídolo dentro del género del blues y el rock and roll, y sobre el que he leído vaaaaarios libros, a menudo vuelvo siempre a escuchar las mismas canciones y a leer los comentarios inteligentes que sumen a mi conocimiento. Aunque también me encuentro con personas que no tienen ni idea de lo que hablan y creen tener la razón! Hay que ser más humildes!
