@@LadyKokokia Thanks. The heads of the fraternity I tried to join lied to my fellow prospective recruits and I and told us we didn't need to bundle up for our "hike" around our campus, when really, we did, as it was 50 degrees out. They had my recruits and I hike all around my college campus in the cold. To me, that wasn't even the worst of it, I have Diabetes, and I was worried the cold weather would damage my blood sugar kit. One instance of hazing is one too many.
These comments are absolutely ridiculous! Why is everyone acting so high and mighty as if they didn't make bad choices in their late teens and early twenties. Yes, obviously he wasn't forced to do it and he could've just used his judgement better, but it's just a bad run of fate that it had to end this way. Millions of people daily get absolutely wasted and situations like this are freak accidents. Stop blaming him for making ONE BAD CHOICE and having to suffer for the rest of his life. It just isn't fair.
I'm going to pretend I didn't read your comment. Once you are severely intoxicated you have no idea what you are doing. It wasn't Danny's choice to be left alone by his "Frat Dad" when he KNEW the state he was in. It wasn't Danny's choice to have not one of these fratties call 911 (which most likely would have saved his quality of life) nor did he ask for the coverup. Were you aware that this first was already under hazing sanctions and was not supposed to even have alcohol on the premises? You know what peer pressure is. Use your head before you blame the victim.
The talks we had with our son over and over about NO ONE will take care of you if you get drunk. They will leave you. Don't do the excess drinking, it will KILL YOU....... So glad he listened. I feel for these families that have these tragedies!!!
Danny and many other students have been harmed by the stupid practice of hazing. Haven't these people read, heard or seen the news for the past 30 years about the many children who have died or been left with an injury because of hazing. To Danny and his family, my prayers are with you 🙏🏽
Breaks my heart to say it but the family should have let him go. Why are we so selfish to keep our loved ones in this state for OURSELVES? We wouldn't allow a family dog to suffer like this. Why do we do it to people? So sad. Love to you Danny.
Just curious as to what specifically you think should have been done differently by the doctors or family. When a person is brought to the hospital in such a state, they are obligated (barring a DNR) to do everything they can to revive him. There was no way to know until later, the extent of the damage. Meanwhile, if the hospital decided that they shouldn't bother trying, the family would have sued the hell out of everyone. No one has hindsight beforehand... That's why it's hindsight.
@GhostyGangsta Oh.. despite watching several videos about this, I was not aware that there was an opportunity for the family to decide to 'unplug him.' In which case, I might agree.
I agree… he’s alive but he can’t even experience life. We don’t know what he is experiencing right now he could be miserable and have no way of telling anyone.
This is like trying to sue the alcohol manufacturer for creating this "poison." No one forced Danny to drink. He did this all willingly. It's such a sad situation. Devastating. But Danny made a stupid decision by not leaving. He never even tried to leave or say no. Hope he recovers soon 🙏
Who's responsible for this? No one held a gun to Danny's head and forced him to go there. No one forced him to drink. He was never threatened. Danny had every chance to walk away. This was ultimately Danny's choice to be there and go through with this. He could have left at any point. He never tried to leave or even say no. It's such a sad situation but it was Danny's choice. There has to be some personal responsibility. I hope he recovers soon 🙏
Well sherlock, the general public doesn’t have a clue that one can have a cardiac arrest and its so easy to overdose on alcohol. He probably thought the worst that can happen would be him passing out from intoxication.
When you allow college kids to run a cult without supervision
I was hazed when I tried to join a fraternity a year ago. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this. Hazing needs to be stopped!
I am sorry you went through hazing. This practice does need to be stopped.

Fraternity and sorority’s have always seemed cult like to me

he's a d.umbass. nobody forced him to do this
So sad my heart goes out to him and his family
Poor kid. My condolences to his family
Just stay away from people in university, you're there to study, nothing else

So is this the end of it?
This is unfortunate, but people should be responsible for THEIR own actions... He drank of his own accord, no one forced him at gunpoint to drink...
True, I don't necessarily blame the other college kids but this crazy hazing needs to stop
I really hope you live the rest of your life alone, with opinions like that.
your too logical

This is a hard but honest opinion. It's just a sad situation.
Bro are you serious? It’s called COERCION. You’re the same people who blame victims of bullying for unaliving themselves
@@user-xv6sr2xx4jYou are right this guy is probably a bully himself.
I agree, except he did try to say no, but the other kids just turned up the pressure and convinced him to drink more. Unfortunately, he gave in.
I hope karma gets you. ❤
No one forced Danny to join a fraternity or drink all that alcohol. Even if you're 18 you need to be able to use some common sense and say NO!
You are evil
He has no vocational skills. He’ll probably end up a poor truck driver with no skills.
@@ArloKnudsenFitWell, I'm sure a poor truck driver would have better skills and manners than you have! 😂

This happened in 2021. Where was He then?

You’re one of the people who pressured him into drinking an absurd amount of alcohol or else he wouldn’t get into the fraternity. Aren’t you?
Hope he recovers soon? Did you not hear them say that he will not walk or talk again for LIFE? You are pure evil

He's paralysed, blind and brain dead, no recovering from that.
I hope you live the rest of your days alone and sad. ❤
Titos needs to step up and offer free vodka for life..c'mon..the least they can do! 😉
Seriously though watch out kiddos..frats ain't worth damaging yourself and in some cases for life. Be well.
Couldn’t handle his liquor. How is that anyone’s fault?
