The Book of Revelation graphic novel contains all 22 chapters of Revelation, every one of the 404 verses, and over 570 separate illustrations to accompany the text. It is illustrated by Chris Koelle, who is an award-winning illustrator.
Everyone watching this, in the Bible Jesus is described as having 7 eyes, and of course is described as a lamb, the end times is supposed to look ugly not some Disney light hearted stuff, and on another note, the angels don’t all look beautiful (atleast not to us) I mean search up what the seraphim and cherubim are described as they sound pretty terrifying, plus god is or just anything that has to do with heaven is sometimes described as fire, not hell fire, but just a powerful fire. I rest my case
I totally agree. The book of revelation is meant to show people a deeper picture of who God is and how evil looks like. I very much like this book because it displays s powerful, loving, and just God that will end all evil. This book is intended to show a better image of the being of God and not to show him as some old man that sits on a cloud.
@Darius Budai In its majority, the book shows the process in which God destroys evil. The reason why many of the illustrations are very dark is that the illustrator is trying to display the true colours of evil itself. I understand that many would say that is book is "satanic," but in what I have understood from researching about the book of revelation is that it describes that the world lives under the shadow of evil (that is why the intense darkness portrayed in the images) and that an everlasting, powerful, loving, merciful God who is full of light is coming to save his people from this shadow.
When you ask if heaven is dark, well my answer will be no. The last few pages of the book show the colour and beauty of heaven.
