You had me curious after the chat with of your concerns with bullets . I was going to the range to test out Everglades bullets and then loaded up some berry's bullets. Thanks Brother
both shoot great, which one is cheaper ? also curious to know why you are using 115 instead of going with the trend of getting heavier into 124 and 147. I recently found out that fenix 147 shoots so much flatter in my S2
first I dont follow trends. I am behind the curve all the time. LOL I have tired 124 and it did seem to make much of a difference to me. Most people use heavier bullet for less recoil or muzzle flip and knocking down steel. I will be trying some 147 soon.
Wow nice shooting. I've shot both berry's and Xtreme in my 9mm both 124g plated and have been very happy with both. Great bullet for the $$ Thanks for the video
Great comparison. Thanks for sharing this. I find it interesting that, with the same powder charge, the FMJ bullets actually had a higher velocity (1169), vs the plated bullets (1148). I’ve always understood that plated bullets, because of their decreased friction, would have a higher FPS. I don’t have a chronometer, but I’ve been loading plated bullets with a slightly lower charge that FMJ’s. I may need to do a little more research now. Great video!
I’m getting about 2-2.5 MOA with Sierras out of an AR9 at 100 yards. Which I think is absolutely spectacular. But they’re like 35¢ a pop right now JUST FOR THE DAMN BULLET Today I’m loading up some Berry’s copper plated to see what I can get out of these. If I can get under 3 MOA with these I’ll shoot them forever
No. Not in a 9mm maybe in a magnum. I'm told by Xtreme 1500fpm max with platted bullets. I have loaded and shot allot of +P in my 9mm & 45acp with no problem. There for a while I was playing with ridiculously hot loads of blue dot in my 45ACP carbine and again no problem. Try a few you might like them and save a little money too.
@@richardbraun2567 I'm having a little trouble finding load data for xtreme plated 115 rn. I would like to use tight group. Any suggestions? BTW I am new to this and want a powder that will work for .45 acp and .38 spcl.
@@thomsoncarter3121 I just use the suggested loads for fmj, I start low and work up. never had a problem. I haven't used any tight group only bullseye, accurate #7 and now Alliant power pistol. I really like power pistol and am switching all my loads to it. No experience with 38spcl.
You should show the bullet before you shoot the bullet. Because the UA-cam viewer don’t know what you shooting. Just by you saying a 9 mm in your words and grouping .
Good comparison!

Great shooting, very nice video, as well. Thanks!
Thank you
Many jacketed RN bullets have an exposed lead base. Should that be of any concern in a compensated gun?
Very nice shooting for both....Good range time....Good stuff....
Thanks Scott
A very nice comparison indeed my friend. It looks like which ever bullet you go with your not really going to go wrong. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like both will work. Now it is about the price. Everglades is cheaper and free shipping
Very nice video. Do you know if there is any difference in terms of ballistic performance, such as expansion & penetration?
No , I wish i could afford ballistic gelatin for testing
@@live4wild968 Oh that's okay, any ol' possum, raccoon or other critter will do just fine! (:

Thanks you are welcome
Now it boils down to which one is less expensive throw down range... but that's just me being a cheap SOB....LOL
Good shooting!
Yes , I think they both perform the same
im taking a chance on some X-Treme 9mm 115 gr RN... hope they work well. the reviews said they went bang every time they were fired.

I have had good luck with berrys bullets
Very good grouping.
Thanks Brian
Great comparison. I've got to get reloading my Everglades bullets. Time for the Acmes to go.
yes you need to get reloading and out shooting
I expected to see more spread on the plates but not enough to prey about it appears
I was surprised also with the results. What grain bullet are you running in your 34's ?
Hot load on the berrys no?
Thanks for sharing, nice testing.
Wow, what a channel. Subbed
Thank you
@@live4wild968 You're welcome Brother
Nice Shooting & content Brother. I’ve used Barry’s before but not Everglades. TFS
Thanks brother.
Good groups
Thanks Don.
Berrys probably will liquefy when loading +p levels
