Great Review! I'm debating between this color and the Green version. Do you know of any silicone or rubber replacement straps? I think a dark purple would look awesome on this watch. 😉

I am fine with the white date wheel on this one. It's such a loud watch with the blue and orange and purple, that that the date wheel has to do some yelling of its own.
@@thegorn Yes, SM make some truly high quality watches, but somehow they some to have a hard time letting go of the homage-stuff and on that point Phoibos are actually doing a better job - originality 😊
mine is yes. I got mine in May after a preorder. Doesn't really bother me though but if you're OCD it might. Not sure if they have fixed it yet or not, probably something to do with the datewheel being different than a 3oclock version.

"In the "NH34 Spec Sheet" attached to this email, you can find that the GMT/24 hour hand is seated at the bottom of the hand setting with the widest wheel in diameter. That led to a bigger mechanical backlash in the GMT/24 hour hand wheel than that in other hand wheels. So it is a little difficult to align the GMT/24 hour hand with the indices when setting it at the second crown position (GMT quick-adjusting position). You would find the GMT/24 hour hand skip in the clockwise direction missing a certain index when setting it at that quick-adjusting position. In this case, there will be a little deviation in the alignment of GMT/24 hand as the hour/minute hands are aligned to markings properly. It would happen in the same way when you try to align the hour/minute hands as keeping GMT/24 hands aligned".
Awful is extreme and frankly shows some level of instability lol. I love mine and am appreciative these watches as much as my GMT Master II and my Seamaster. Stay away, more for me to buy.
@@DavidV4444 And also the watch has stopped, even after being fully wound. Sitting on a table for 15 hours, though it has supposedly a forty hour power reserve. Just not very good and very disappointing. We have just ordered a Nezumi Aviera AA2.102 which has a much better movement than the Phoibos. Keep your cheap watches, cheap for a reason.

Awful watch GMT Hand does NOT line up with Indices, that is why it so cheap.
