  • It's unknown whether peptides would speed healing of an ACL tear of the knee without surgical reconstruction. But could peptides like BPC 157, Thymosin Beta 4, CJC 1295 with Ipamorelin and others speed recovery from that surgery?

I’m 3 days post Arthroscopic knee surgery to remove adhesions, scar tissue and clean up after bilateral patellar tendon ruptures 2 years ago. I’ve used BPC 157 and TB 500 a few months back, it did help with my SLAP tear, but didn’t fully heal it. Started a cycle 36 hours post surgery, and I can tell it’s helping with the pain and swelling. I can almost walk around like a human (slight limp). I do know that it doesn’t help almost 2 years after surgery, as the ligaments and tendons have already healed. I’m just hoping that after this surgery I’m in less pain than when I started.

I have a strain or possible small tear of the ACL. MRI just shows that the ACL is swollen and grumpy. It is weight bearing, and passes the ligament physical tests so my doctor wants to wait three months (with PT) to see if it heals on it own before jumping into surgery.
I will be taking BCP 157 for a month or two then retaking the MRI. I'll update you with my results at that time :) nothing better than being my own lab rat 😅
Should I do the injects above the knee cap in the skin or at the top of the knee in the muscle there?
