I have the Cornwell swivels in 1/4 3/8 and 1/2 and love them they are one of the cheapest compared to the other tool trucks. I'm with you a 100% on the Lisle disconnect pliers. Congrats on the new house

It's a shame that Stanley Black and Decker is introducing Taiwanese tools into the Mac lineup. I don't mind Taiwanese tools as they do a good job. I just can't see paying US tool prices for made in Taiwan tools. When I started out in the late 80s Matco was the budget professional tool line. I bought a lot of my specialty tools from Matco. As of late Matco's pricing is getting ridiculous. I'd be interested in seeing videos of your 65 Chevy. Sounds like a fun project. Long bed step sides are kind of rare.
I mean, it does suck that mac pushes so much taiwan stuff. But I wouldn't say they are charging US tool prices for made in taiwan. The Precision torque wrenches are like half the price of the knuckle saver wrenches that are made in the USA. I like the precision torque wrenches more anyway.
This addiction to Mac and Snapon is like a modern day form of slavery. You work all day but then blow a chunk of your earnings on tools that cost 5-10X more than they should. It's like mechanics have brainwashed themselves to donate a chunk of their revenue to some corporation just so they can proudly display that company's logo. A mechanic with a Mac/Snapon is little different from a shallow Valley girl with a $5000 designer purse that is really no better than a $20 purse.

Just got Mac PT SAE wrench set today from 1/4-15/16. I have the metric ones already. Hands down the best wrenches I’ve ever laid my hands on and I would have paid double for them. And they’re not USA made. invest in their RBRT line! Worth all the money.
