Dad needs to sign some actual improvements to the team, he seems to always buy players that strenghten the squad depth but sometimes what you need in a transfer window is just one real superstar (compared to the rest of your team atleast) who can really elevate the team to the next level.

I do the switch of target forward to be against the weaker DC with ariel on the oppo defense... sometimes even switching it every 30 mins during games to vary the point of attack.

I would love to see you guys 'rebuild' teams such as Sutton United or a team that has never won the PL or been to the champions League or European. Sutton is my fav team after United. Could see gets a cl or el and pl win in the shortest amount of time

I know it’s gonna get old but imho this would be far more interesting if the players you’ve added to the database started at 16 years old so we can see who develops them better. Starting with a perfect 20 year old seems cheaty especially if it’s in the Premier League as well.
It’s a short series, 5 seasons. (Will make sense why soon) putting them at 16 wouldn’t give us a chance to grow them well enough in 5 years

Completely agree, i dont even hate changing database things a bit as long as it feels somewhat honest. But to me it feels they went too far overboard with how overpowered they made their player, that coupled with both players being the same feels boring and leads to less creativity for tactics and strategies.
I respect that, but a lot of us do like this so they shouldn't change just for you

I love every video ... the Vs battles are my favourite but the retro database, perfect players, replayed careers are just something different a added extra which I also enjoy easily my favourite FM channel by a country mile ❤
Not a big fan of this series at all, feels like cheating and completely uneeded. Just randomly starting the game with 20 year old KDB regens who are way too good for the clubs with crazy long cheap contracts? Playing as a premier league team is already easy with all the money before being given messi level players for no reason.
I also feel like they made them far too good for the 'challenge' to be interesting. They at least should have started as 16 year olds with low current ability and the challenge would start as a race to get their player first team ready sooner, maybe one would go for loans while the other would rey to develop them in the youth system. Would be a risk of playing them too early when they arent first team ready yet to help development at the risk of losing poonts in the league.
Instead of both players being the same you could have each created your own players up to a max of 100 CA or something, potentially with some restrictions and see how they would work in the match engine if you went for different attributes, positions and strategies.
This feels like a rare L for this channel. There are many ways you could have made this more interesting, but you chose the most boring and cheaty option.
I mean why not have a crack at this? Its a mink series anyway so having so low ca players would make thie unnecassarily longer
