If Deepa is that stressed out watching this episode, I can't wait until she sees Rose and the Doctor lost in the Ladder Cliffs of Ladderia, Ladderton trying to escape the alien threat of sentient ladders. ;)
Ah yes! That's a really wholesome episode, I love the sentient ladder race. On paper they sound ridiculous, but seeing them on screen, they fit so well in to the Whoniverse. ;D
Doctor: Yup. But I do it brilliantly. This is why I like the Doctor so much. Even if he has a plan, and will mostly fail. he still have a backup plan. and sometimes he didn't tell us until the end of the episode, cause he want to show off his genius at the end XD
hey, just wondering. i just wanted to know, if Jess (Sesskasays) is interested in hearing to some doctor who fanmade audio drama on youtube that include more than one Doctor like "exhausted supplies" and "The Twelfth Day". I mean, the impressionist are great at making some of the Doctor's impression :D Thanks for reading this!
Hi, if you mean to react to then I would highly doubt it, she's not got a lot of free time these days. I don't think she has even listened to any official audio books yet.
Originally Billie Piper was going to leave mid season and this was going to be her exit story, but Billie decided to stay so it was Micky who stayed. That worked well. What a difference in Mickey from the first episode with Nine. He had a great arc. From coward to hero.
I checked this, and my research has shown that you should probably reword this since from the info I’ve seen now, it wasn’t a child marriage, but it was a eleven year old who was converted into a Cyberman.
I always wonder if this parallel world has its own Doctor. It should, considering the Earth is still around, but he's missing some major events. I'm really intrigued by the idea and sad it never got explored.
I know I'm probably the only one (and will probably get attacked for this) but I'm personally glad that Ricky being gay was deleted from the episode. If they made it that he was gay, the inference is that someone can be straight with one upbringing, but in different surroundings and upbringing and experiences the same person could be gay. I don't like or agree with this and it sends out entirely the wrong message. Someone is gay (or straight) by nature. Sexuality is not affected by being in different circumstances. People have literally spent decades trying to get this message across.
The deleted scene would have been cool, but I'm fine that it was left it. Makes it more subtle. I thought Jake and Ricky's relationship was really obvious and didn't have to be said aloud.
Terrific reaction as always! I've always had a slight problem with the inconsistency of the Rose/Mickey relationship. She drops him like a hot potato at the end of Rose, but invites him to join her in the TARDIS at the end of World War Three. She calls him to Cardiff in Boom Town cuz she wants to see him but in Parting of the Ways tells him there's "nothing" for her on Earth in 2006. She's quite chummy with him in The Christmas Invasion, but seems pissed off when he asks to join the TARDIS crew in School Reunion. Now she's all teary eyed that he's choosing to stay on the alternate Earth. She obviously has no real interest in him, but likes to hang on to him as a backup plan. Living in a different reality where Rose isn't going to be popping into his life, giving him mixed signals is probably the best possible scenario for Mickey
Rose seems to be that type of person. She wanted to be "footloose and fancy free" as Jack saw on the psychic paper, but she still wanted Mickey around. She wanted to be free but she didn't want Mickey to have anyone else but her. She had him in reserve. She cared about him, but wanted the doctor. It was rather a flaw in her. Rose is very young. And this incarnation of the doctor is in many ways a lot like Rose (I always thought his regeneration from Nine to Ten was very much affected by Rose, and he "picked up" a bit of her personality- he certainly picked up her accent).
Rose didn't invite him into the Tardis he wormed his way in go back watch school reunion plus he ended up marrying Martha so why do you keep giving her a hard time!
@@julessherwood Perhaps you should reread my comment. I said she invited him into the TARDIS at the end of World War Three, specifically when she said, "You could come with us! There's plenty of room!". But Mickey had already turned down Nine's invitation to go because he found the prospect of traveling in the TARDIS daunting at that point. Nine helped him cover up by pretending he didn't want Mickey along
Fav line, "I once saved the universe with a big yellow truck."
what an arc for mickey... from timid and afraid, to saving the world
If Deepa is that stressed out watching this episode, I can't wait until she sees Rose and the Doctor lost in the Ladder Cliffs of Ladderia, Ladderton trying to escape the alien threat of sentient ladders. ;)
what episode are you on about
Ah yes! That's a really wholesome episode, I love the sentient ladder race. On paper they sound ridiculous, but seeing them on screen, they fit so well in to the Whoniverse. ;D
which episode@@BronyBurningAxe
Yes that episode was great, they really stepped it up
which episode@@eabeab1938
Murray Gold’s music in this 2 parter is incredible, and not even his best work!
Couldn't agree more, love all of Murray Gold work on Dr Who.
"I once save the universe in a big yellow truck". Good on you Mickey Smith .....
Micky's departure always makes me cry. Of all the male companions in Doctor Who he's my favourite.
Mickey and Rory. Certified badasses.
Billie piper is such a good actress I cry when she cries

You two make me laugh so much! I can't handle the little noises and looks Luke does to the camera when Deepa's asking questions XD LOL
I'm so excited for Deepa experiencing all this for the first time. Maybe have a box of tissues ready for the finale though...
I love that you mentioned the deleted scene
Nice guys, you work so well together. Thanks for another great episode
I love Deepa's mix of emotional and ICE COLD
I totally cried just watching/listening to this
These are some of the best reaction videos ever, so enjoyable. Can’t wait for the rest of the series!
your reactions are so much fun!! good for mickey tho, being his own man, choosing his own life and whats important to him
Sammy was originally going to be an 8 year old boy but they thought it was too dark to have so at the last minute changed it to an adult woman.
I know that we all would love it if you two put out more videos each week
AHH! Binged them all in one day, now what?? I need new episodes, stat! : )
Impressive 😉
one of your best videos ever. thank you
I did cry.
I’m a big softie.
Deepa during the tunnel scene may be one of the top 10 things I've ever seen! 😂
Another great reaction, love you two!

@@markmckeown87 owhh. That's okay. I mean if she's got the time, she can just listen to it. Don't have to be a reaction video. :D
Let me geuss. Dont blink.
I'm actually really excited to see this pop up in my sub box.
Lets go! Can't wait.
also first ?
Ha ha .. "Deepa laughs at death scene" :-)
Will u guys do every series up to date of doctorWho love your reaction videos x
Love it!!!
Can't wait for the next episode, and the next 'Deepa laughs at a death scene'. 😁

Originally the Cyberman that was getting married was supposed to be an 11 old boy.
That is just sick

@@ripleyjlawman.3162 Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what OP meant, but the wording came out very wrong.
well now I have to know who his favorite villain is
Deepa hates not just Daleks, but also Cybermen and the Master.
I always wonder if this parallel world has its own Doctor. It should, considering the Earth is still around, but he's missing some major events. I'm really intrigued by the idea and sad it never got explored.
I actually never heard of that deleted scene until now, very sad that it was deleted
This episode alone is completely superior in quality than the entirety of series 11
15:58 fuck now im really curios who you favorite villian is!
Now I'm interested to find out who Luke's favourite villain is!
😉😉
Sorry ricky I’m glad it was you.
Let’s just say the Cybermen are very much less funny and way more terrifying later in the shows history. Like, a lot later.
Yeah.....3 years ago.
To add an extra layer of tragedy to the whole thing, it was revealed in a deleted scene that Ricky and Jake were boyfriends.

Deepa, sweetie, you alright? :D
There was a theory that Ricky was gay and that's why Mr. Frosty-Tips got so upset. Interesting theory imo. ;D
Nm, just saw that part of the vid. Lol.
Its' that time again 😁😁 poor Deepa, best get some relaxation classes booked, the stress is only going to grow
