Chris, your videos give me the so needed sense of hope that once the war in my country is over, I will be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ukraine again. Really enjoy your videos and your stories. Stay safe.
I’m always amazed to see the the tourists forget the wild part of wildlife. I ran from a skunk just the other night, and was so proud. My dog was too. Thanks
I like the question, "Can I ride the bison?" Yea, just ask the animal and most times they will say, "Get on, I'll take you for a ride!" A sidebar. Check your battery on your car. It sounds like it's about to die soon. Just an observation. Thanks Chris!
Great video Chris. Nice mix of hiking, cooking and good advice on respecting wild animals' space. Unreal how some folks just walk right up to these dangerous animals. "When do they put them back in their cages?" Breathtaking naivety which could cost them their lives. KH!
I have major disabilities, which make life hell. But watching your videos helps me forget for awhile. Probably sounds silly, but i almost fell like I'm there with ya - which is a pleasant escape from reality. Thanks! Jim - from Chicago, IL.
hey Chris!! after watching the news clip of the incedent, "touron" was a sad description ( but true ) of the mindset of some people visiting our National Parks, seems like common sense is going the way of the dinosaur, very good video though.
Common sense .. what common sense .. there isn't any when it comes to people now. Seems many have a death wish and that's their choice. Great upload once again in a very picturesque area Chris. Thanks. Bushyboy Oz.
July 27, 2022 Thanks for all the info. Chris! I seem to learn something new everyday from your channel. I so love the way you incorporate the hiking tips, scenery, stories, your delicious cooking tip and meals, BF encounters and etc. Your channel is truly an original! I also love that you're bringing Bigfoot/ Sasquatch encounter stories to the table ... and bringing out awareness that these beings truly exist out there! Btw, usually when I'm watching your channel it's dinner time for me at work.. I work grave yard. So when you say your cheers after cracking open a cool one... Thanks for letting us tag along on your camp outs!! I wish I had the time you do to go on these adventures! Being an industrial maintenance manager at a factory in East Tennessee they don’t give much off time!! You help me get away into nature!! Thanks brother
I love the beautiful bluegrass version of the Hymn, "Leaning On The Everlasting Arms of Jesus" you had playing in the background. Good video. Thank you.
I bet your Folger's was, "Good to the Last Drop"; but, Maxwell House, would argue this point! Haha! You are a good cook, Chris! Really enjoy your video's down hee ya in Kentucky!😊
I am so envious of all these places WITH WATER that you show us! Also no loud people around - just how I love to hike! Thanks Chris - this southern California desert rat needs to see the green & water! Tou-ron is a kind way to describe these idgets that disrespect wildlife & their space. Thanks for the extra work/time you put into your videos - showing us all the beauty! Stay safe - keep hiking!
We also called them Tourons when I lived in Jackson Hole 1995-2005. It’s still fitting and relevant. I enjoy all of your videos. Thank you for sharing!
I've watched almost all of your previous videos......maybe need about 10 more to finish.....it's so fantastic to see an "up to date" video!!! Thanks again, for all you do to share your adventures with us! I appreciate you beyond words!!
I was laughing so hard when you talked about the questions about bison from the touron… lol LOVED YOUR BREAKFAST TOO! Enjoy watching such beauty and breathtaking views and listening to your stories!
Okay ... if you don't know about the Dogman Encounters Radio channel you would really like that ... here on UA-cam . People tell of their own encounters but the more recent ones a lot of them are not that good although the one from several weeks ago of the guy in Cheshire England is very good . You might want to look at the ones that are titled compilations of the best stories . I don't exaggerate when I say some of those were so scary several years ago that I stopped listening to the channel until recently . Give it a listen and let me know what you think
That meadow was breathtaking! I love wildlife and could watch wildlife videos all day long. I have never been fortunate enough to see the big fellas like elk, moose or grizzlies! I assure you I would not be a "touron" if that is how it is spelled! 🤣Thanks, and keep the videos coming!
So much to love about this video! Aside from your skill at taking and editing your video, the food/cooking, scenery, talks, info and just everything else can't be beat. Very relaxing and enjoyable!! ❤
I have had many encounters with bison over the years. Not only are they big and fast, they can also be scary quiet Seeing you cook made my day. Stay safe and cheers to you and your subs.
Enjoyed the part 2 hike Chris! I don't understand why people think wildlife is friendly? To many Disney_movies I guess, personally I won't even get close to a squirrel.
Love both videos, part one was great part two is beautiful with waterfall and great info on bison. Making two parts was great idea. Thank you for both and love all of your videos!!
Beautiful breakfast, so relaxing by the stream, wouldn't you just love to have that stream in your back yard, I live about 100ft off the Hudson River, but there is nothing like and up and close stream, a beautiful video, I wish I was there with you
Hell w that They’re just as pretty, through the camera scope/zoom 😅 I grew up on farm-around horses, chickens, deer, cows and one HELLUVA mean turkey who wanted me for a pecking post - they all taught me, within minutes, about allowing animals their space as well as alerting animals to your presence.
Another good video! Thanks Chris. I wanted to relay a couple of things to you, after seeing your lantern prop, I went looking on Amazon for one and found one that I ordered and love. It is a NEBO 15 LED lantern / 9" battery operated traditional metal lantern design for indoor/outdoor use / rustic red. It has a well worn finish and a very realistic flickering flame, check it out. Also, when I was a kid, I read a bigfoot story that was very chilling that was supposedly told to Teddy Roosevelt about a early 1900's trapper and his partner, the man's name was Bauman. Id love to hear that tale again from you on a video.
Another one you might like is the Dog Man Encounters Radio channel here on UA-cam . It hasn't been so good lately you might like the older stories some of them are absolutely horrifying and riveting
