I've been playing with the microbalance and the R2 and now I can finally show you how to use them and also answer the question do you really need to buy them?
Nice video but the workflow should include calibration with distilled water and ensuring that the sample is within .1 of a degree of the calibration water of the TDS may not be correct
@@Howie-bz5pe ohh really? I never thought of that since difluid said you dont need to do that anymore. They said to do that only with the r1 but no need with the r2 anymore.
@@mooriginal oh! Where are you from? if you dont mind me asking? I think Acaia has been overtaken by a lot of different brands. Even some of the timemore scales have some kind of flowrate monitor now too. And for a fraction of the price.
I thought of spending the 100£ in the UK on same as everyone else does. But I liked the flow reading from TI. seemed easier to view on screen. The app looked ok. But I think difluid have not pushed in Europe. As coffee nerds are like sheep and follow each other.
@@mooriginal haha its now that. I think the EU market is heavily controlled to use western products more. Difluid is an Asian brand and a lot of asian brands are somewhat banned or have a pending case in EU like 1zpresso
Loved this. Cleared up how to use these. Thanks!
thank you! I hope it helps!

@@Howie-bz5pe i only failed to show calibration with distilled since you dont need to calibrate the r2 everytime you use it.
I have just got one of these - Ti model - have you done a video for the espresso brewing process
i haven't - maybe i should one right?
I agree. This scale is not used in the west much. No one talks about it.

Thanks for the screen share. The manual of the scale wasn't helpful
