There is a gun in your thumbnail 😮 GUNTUBER ALERT ⚠️⚠️⚠️🚨📢
Zane is a gun obsessed far right extremists who’s very pro state, pro cop and pro unaliving people he disagrees with.
Can you beleive how racist this guy must be
@@dubvuchyea502 it is culturally believed to be true Zane is racist against people from Guatemala
I think it's worth noting that Sienna Guillory, the actress playing Jill Valentine in these films, studied the way the games animated Valentine for months and did everything she could to emulate that in Apocalypse - apparently she took the film extremely seriously.
she was the best casting for the role tbh i just wished the writing focuesed more on her as the installments progressed
She is the best and the most likable part of it. Her efforts paid off
Awww man!! I didn't know that, but it makes her lack of presence in the later films so much worse now that I do. Good for her, though. I always respect the hell out of actors who aren't intimidated or won't scoff at looking into the original source material for inspiration whether it be video games, anime, manga, etc. Like Justin Chatwin looked into the Dragon Ball stuff for his roll in the movie which ultimately failed. It's heartbreaking when things don't work out for them but brings a lifetime of respect from those of us who have appreciation for their effort that might've been better served working with different filmmakers/studios.
@@johnnybensonitis7853 I had no idea Chatwin did that. Mad respect to him for at least trying, bro let off a great Kamehameha in my opinion
Then she was Paul WS Anderson’d in the the next movies she was in.
This whole series feels like stories you come up with as a kid where you just mush up the things you like into an incoherent mess that only makes sense to you.
I haven't played the game but it was acted out in the movies. You couldn't understand the movies? Survival horror.
@randallbesch2424 if you had played the games you'd understand what people are talking about
@@randallbesch2424^
I can't belive Paul Anderson made resident evil and punch drunk love in the same year
I see what you did there. 😉
Every film buff gets confused by this at some point
I just call him the crappy Paul Anderson to avoid confusion.
That's funny that's what I do with the other PA@@Psilocybin77
What's even more wild to me is learning Future used to own Playstation Magazine. He's so multitalented
Idk those movies are still better than this channel
Bro y'all need to get laid
The internet does not forget. You cannot hide your shame. We know what you did.
How does it feel knowing you’ve destroyed your “career”
People like you creep me out
I would argue that Jovovich starring in Joan of Arc, a 60 million dollar historical epic by Luc Besson, in 1999, was a bigger step in her career than Resident Evil
That's a reason of why I think the rumour about "Milla wasn't supoosed to be the main character in RE film, Michelle Rodriguez was" is a stupid invention.
Milla was a more important start even at that moment and Michelle barely started his career.
How people can think they would cast Milla in a minor role when she was the most known member of the cast?
Never heard of it
@@CyrissSmith-jq4dk People call it "Joan of Arc", but it's real title is "The Messenger". It's a pretty decent film.
@@CyrissSmith-jq4dk it flopped. but it was a 60m movie and she was the lead, so it's a bigger deal than landing Resident Evil 1.
At least Paul WS Anderson isn't a pedophile
I would argue that Milla Jovovich was more than just a "side character" in The Fifth Element. Behind Bruce Willis, she's the second most important character in that movie.
That’s fair, it’s been over a decade since I saw the movie last and my memory on it is admittedly a little hazy.
More than that, the name of the film *directly* refers to her :P
She is THE main character.
@@DM-zi2up No she's not. She's the MacGuffin. Korben Dallas (Willis' character) makes every decision in that film that moves the plot forward. He's the protagonist in every sense of the word.
@@JustADilemma In the film "The Mummy" is the Mummy the main character? No. Not in the Brendan Fraser version or the Tom Cruise version. The title of the film is irrelevant.
Fun fact for the fifth movie: Matt Mercer, the VA of Leon in the games, auditioned for the role. The voice sample for the role was his own take of the character, and was passed over.
He didn't auditioned for the role, but for the dubbing of the actor. Like Ada, who's dubbed by her original VA.
The shots of those dogs looking nervous while getting the makeup applied is horribly endearing.
Dogs are obviously aware of the world around them, and I imagine that they can think, but probably without words and more with senses. But I wonder what they're feeling in weird situations like that. It's probably closest to going to the vet. "This is weird. Nothing bad is happening, yet...I hope this doesn't hurt". And then they have to pretend to attack people.
I can't help it. I just love all these over-the-top stylish action movies designed to just look really cool.
Basically live action anime.
My girl and I are big fans of the film series. We adopted a sick feral cat who lived outside the hospital my girl worked at. She was a tough little cat we managed to domesticate. We named her Alice because she was a survivor and an absolute beauty (like Milla) she had a lion-like mane. She passed away a few years ago and this video really reminded me of her ❤ Great work on the retrospective
"I was even embarrassed by association that some of my friends were into them". Sounds about right coming from you.
Not only does the franchise end on a sour note, in terms of narrative and quality, but Behind The Scenes too.
.
Stunt woman, Olivia Jackson crashed headlong into a camera crane, resulting in skull fractures, and an amputated arm. South African crew member Ricardo Cornelius was crushed to death by a Humvee, 12 zombie actors were hospitalized after a suspended platform fell with all of them on it.
.
No movie should have this much carnage BTS, especially a film of this quality.
None of those accidents were deliberate..
@@randallbesch2424think you missed the point of his comment but go off
@@randallbesch2424 ...yeah, if it had been deliberate, it wouldn't be an accident.
@@randallbesch2424 The accidents were not deliberate, however not ensuring the upmost of safety precautions was indeed deliberate.
Negligence. Most the films in the franchise were filmed in Toronto, Canada (Apocalypse even depicts the city hall getting blasted by a nuke). So far, the last time Paul WS Anderson did production in Toronto was the film Pompeii, and when that was wrapping he and Milla were spotted prepping for production on The Final Chapter. Instead, production was moved to Cape Town, South Africa, likely due to insurance costs: at least 16 people were injured on set and most had to be hospitalized during the second day of filming Retribution. Knowing this makes it a little less surprising that the next film's production resulted in a crew member's death and the maiming of another. No film is worth a death or disability, and no film maker intends to have such results, but safety for all involved should be priority before the shot.
Awww, those sweet little Dobermans in the zombie makeup
If you sit someone to watch the second movie with no previous knowledge of the franchise, but that some one is a 13 year old boy, you would have a life long fan of the franchise. And I know because that was me
Honestly, 1-3 were pretty solid for me. It got weird at 4
Yeah, it's weird hearing people claim that "popular opinion" is that Apocalypse is "the worst" one when, in reality, that's where the franchise peaked and everything after was just a strange descent into an opium-fuelled fever dream.
@@dungeonsanddobbers2683 I will say though, there is a soft spot in my heart for the first 2/3rds of Extinction. I loooooved grizzled Alice
And that's a good thing? Teenage boys are the only demographic worth appealing to?
“When you have so little reputation, the reputation that you do have, matters”
I appreciate you saying that. Truly🙏
I haven't watched this one yet, but I HAVE MISSED YOU SO MUCH. The level of detail, the genuine enthusiasm for the subject at hand, that salve of a voice...
The voice does it for me, too. “Salve” is a great choice of words. Zane could make a very decent living narrating audiobooks, I’m sure.
I concur. Zane is absolutely terrific and the love, passion, and focused knowledge in his video essays is mesmerizing with every single episode.
I kind of resent the implication that horror is only smart if it's slow. And at the fast-paced resident evils are only a case of it going downhill.
25:00 glad to see you make that shout out to Cube. Such a great, underrated film. And it inspired the best scene of the first RE film!
At this point I think a lot people are aware of the Cube presence on horror movies
I wish we got the romero script
Seriously
It sounded like an gory, campy, full of cheap but charming animatronics and make up that captures, unintentionally, the essence of the game
This guy, just like Matt Binder, looks like someone who lurks at playgrounds and drives around in a busted ice cream van to lure children to him.
With “free drag queen story time” written on the side.
It's crazy they couldn't get someone even taller to do Nemesis, like a massively tall person and then with a bit more makeup and some platformy boots probably get that actor pushing 7 feet at least, then combine that with some good angles you could really make a big big boy.
Leeloo was a side character? You're drunk. She was the female lead.
Wesker just sitting there like an big boy so proud of himself because he is the president of the US
"wakes up naked and confused" is an excellent running joke. Really really loved this video - bought new headphones just to watch it lol. PS given you mentioned it I'd love to see your take on Elfen Lied, if that's ever something you'd be interested in.
Mathew Taylor is the actor that played Nemesis. He is 6’6. Definitely not the same height as Milla lol but I get what you mean. He wasn’t 7’3 like the original RE3 game nemesis. They should’ve hired Shaq to play him!
Love when he's dunking on Apocalypse like it's the worst one ever, if you saw the first one with no prior knowledge you could still have a good time, but if you saw Apocalypse without any context you'd just be lost and hate it. Apocalypse was the first one I ever saw as a kid, didn't know there was one before it and didn't even know Resident Evil was a game; I loved it. I'd rent it all the time from the local video store. When I saw the orginal Resident Evil in there one day I thought, "Oh cool, they made a new one", had no idea it was the first.
Yeah, it's wild when people say Apocalypse is the worst because it was the last one of the films in the franchise that made any sense and, from what I remember, was praised by fans of the games and general movie-goers
The unbridled contempt these films have for their audiences is exquisite.
Disney: Hold my Beer.
@@spaceboy.digital Of course I could. People like you belittle education, but I've studied Finance and English. I've also been fascinated by history, psychology, and media studies. I could 'begin' to tell you, but I doubt you have the capacity to begin to understand. *for those that do, start by researching media conglomeration and how "framing" reality works.
@@Psilocybin77 I saw ‘The Boy and the Heron’ by Studio Ghibli the weekend before last. I didn’t think it was among their best work, but just looking at the attention to detail and genuine imagination put on display I couldn’t help wondering why people continue to settle for the mouse’s thin gruel. “Because it’s there”, I guess.
@@Edo_Marinus I will definitely check that film out. I do think it's complacency and the fact that Disney, is such a monolith. They control so much of the media space, and it's just a matter of lack of choice I feel. I'm glad that there are studios like Gibli that exist, and independent studios. I just miss thoughtful, well made studio films.
I wholeheartedly disagree with you.
Thank you for upload today, my day has been awful so far so seeing this cheered me up :)
Really sorry to hear that things are going rough for you, hope they improve! Glad that the video can help some there
Love that you picked the zombie/shark fight from Zombie as an example of a zombie action scene. I'm in awe of that scene every time I watch it
I’m pretty sure they pulled that shark’s teeth out before filming the scene, but if they didn’t it wouldn’t surprise me either. Still a badass-looking scene. Italians, man. If you know, you know.
Interesting fact: that they brought in sally Cahill the voice actor for Ada Wong from the original resident evil four to dub for actress Li Bingbing
Who played Ada in live action due to the actress spoke very little English so Cahill re-recorded all Bingbing’s lines so Cahill voiced Ada twice.
Shade doesn’t suffer the “black guy dying first” trope. What are you talking about? He’s literally the last one to die in the lazer hallway.
He’s the first actual character though which is what I’m talking about, the others are nameless redshirts. The Wikipedia article on the scene reads: “At the Red Queen's chamber, a laser defense system kills Shade and three more commandos.”
The one who is killed by the Tyrant A then within minutes arises by the imperfect reanimation of the faulty T-virus to attack Alice.
@@InPraiseofShadows You don't like being wrong do you? You are moving the goalpost buddy.
@@chaffeyable But he is actually correct. You could argue all the people working in the facility died first. But the point is that he is the first "character" that you actually follow. You can also see this with the woman who dies first in the elevator. It is not about someone, anyone, dying first, but a character that somehow is part of the main cast or that is written for you to follow at least for a bit. I hope that clarification helps. Cheers!
@@chaffeyable basically the other characters are NPCs, Shade is the first PC to die.
In a better world Constantin film and Anderson got the rights to Bloodrayne with Jovovich as Rayne instead. And Romero got to make Resident Evil with a perfected draft.
There are consequences to living in a bubble.
Just want to say you're my favorite youtuber and the only one I have notifications turned on for. Love the way you make me reanalyze media through a different lens! Hope the channel keeps doing well!
you lost me the second you said event horizon was not a great film
As always love what you do. I empathize with your patreon pitch, I hope so badly that you reach your goals because i truly think that you deliver a unique perspective on horror within our niche of youtube. Appreciate you.
I personally think his takes are very low effort and he tends to not really know what he's talking about. His videos also just have that school presentation energy, definitely nothing I could ever call "art". More like a kid doing an assignment
@@darrylatkins5049 keep crying
Oh my god yes! The king is back 😎
I always just thought of the RE movies as Sharknado with a $200M budget
Bold of you to assume these movies would even get close to that kind of budget
NPC channel
I don't remember where I heard this, but allegedly, the reason why video games movies are so weird about directly adapting the plots of their games is because they were afraid of weird copyright laws.
I know that sounds weird, but that's what I've heard. And with how strangely complicated copyright laws are, I'm not exactly surprised. I think I heard about that "caveat" when I was researching BTS with the first Silent Hill movie, I believe.
Weird situation all around.
This is the first I'm hearing of Apocalypse being considered the worst. I always thought it was genuinely obvious they got worse and worse except 6 being slightly better than 5.
Same. I mean, kind of. I watch a lot of RE movies reviews and I've seen lots of people stating that Apocalypse is one of the worst, which shocks me because, to me, it's the best one (maybe the 1st is objectively better, but Apocalypse is my favorite). And you're correct, they get progressively worst.
My order is:
2>1>3>4>6>5
So I love your videos. the detailed analyses definitely renew my interest in movies as an artistic medium.
I do have to mention though that your spoken audio throughout the video sounded blown out. It might be a youtube compression issue, or something with the rendering process, but its not something I've noticed in any of your other videos, or even any other youtube videos at all :/ might be something to take into consideration, and at this point in my life, i do not have the Audio Engineering know how to be able to recommend a solution, i am sorry. but i thought id mention it at least so that you are aware. Besides that, excellent work as always :)
Thanks so much! No that’s definitely an issue on my end that I messed up with. Normally doesn’t happen, but I live far away from where I record audio and I have to leave town for two weeks starting Monday, and by the time I realized it it was too late to redo it all. Shouldn’t be an issue again.
@@InPraiseofShadows ok that's fair! Ya I wouldn't be bothered to redo it all at that point either! Hope your trip goes well :)
Wesker got bodied by a door, ill never forget that disservice, idc how funny it was. 😂
I know it’s not the first video to use it, but I love the new title card with the channel name
I’ve been waiting for this!! Even if these movies are like technically bad (and they are) I’ll always have a soft spot for them I loved them so much when I was younger 😭
These movies made me want to try the games seriously....and now I have fun movies to watch some times and a bunch of fun games to play.
How would you improve the techniques used? Each mover looks good in most cases for the time and far more interesting than mere zombie. land.
I do think Wesker is adaptable, it just depends of what version of him you are adapting because he really come out as different characters between the first few games and five. Like he was a lot more grounded before 5 make him go full super villain
Let's be honest, after a point Paul Anderson's career has basically been various ways of expressing 'my wife is hot' and using Hollywood money to do it. Fair play to him.
And they say romance is dead
Ahh, it’s going to be a good day now!
"Brad is an impostor named Mike, who's trying to find his girlfriend Becky"
Top tier writing, bravo. :)))
You would too since Becky is first class in the Kama sutra.
Around 19 minutes you speculate that the T-Virus is called as such because it was a cool name, and maybe that's true from a production standpoint, but I'm pretty sure it's called that because in the original game, they were using the virus to make a genetic super-human type of monster called Tyrant, the T-Virus is the Tyrant-Virus
Also the scene of Alice running down the building comes straight from Resident Evil: Code Veronica, wherein its Claire who runs down a building
You are correct, the virus names correspond to the ultimate creature made, or a feature of the virus. E.g: T - tyrant, G - Golgotha, C - chrysalis, E - Evelyn
No one in any of the games runs down the side of a building.
The scene lifted (almost shot for shot) from CV is the helicopter chase into the room where she drops the gun, collapses to the floor, and catches the gun to shoot out a gas tank.
@@dungeonsanddobbers2683 fair enough, I must've been misremembering something else
"Wesker, you're fired."
*door slams on Wesker's leg, crushing it, somehow unable to dodge it, as he's left lying on the floor like a little bitch till the Hive explodes*
Probably the biggest disrespect to a one of gamings biggest and most popular bad guy
I did wonder how Wesker lost his T-virus powers.
He didn't. He didn't even do much in the movie. He was set up as the big bad but got pushed aside for some dumb plot twist that the Isaacs in 3 was just a clone, was actually in charge. How did the Red Queen take over if Isaacs was in control?
They made Wesker a bitch. I don't remember him even fighting Alice in the movie. He became a background character, pushed aside like a pet. Disrespectful
This channel can get me invested in things I've never been into or sometimes even heard of. Good job! As usual!
No matter what anyone says, these movies will forever be iconic to me. Guilty pleasure? Absolutely. Very fun and very rewatchable? Also absolutely.
Exactly. Someone who gets it. Ever since I watched this as a kid, that my teacher played in class, I was in love. ITS ICONIC
I thought Resident Evil 2 was widely agreed to be the best one
Wish I had the extra to contribute to the Patreon! Maybe one day soon. But you’ve always got some repeat views and recommendations from me. Keep it up!
Romero really payed for his own personal resident evil let’s-play. What foresight 😂
I didn’t get notified of this or would have watched it a loooot sooner!
You’re one of my favorite UA-camrs! I always appreciate your hard work and insight you bring. And you always talk about interesting subjects! Huge fan of what you’re doing!
I live in Oklahoma and I'm a Native American.
I just want to say thank you for consistently making wonderful content that’s both entertaining and informative. Also I had zero idea that you put out a 4 hour Courage video even though I have notifications on aaaaa
I love your videos!!!! I love the attention to detail, editing, and analysis! It's so engaging yet calming. It really strengthens my love of horror media.
Your thumbnails are really good too! I find them really eye catching and it feels very retro and nostalgic lol.
Your videos inspired me to watch "Return to Oz" and "Hellraiser" (loved them both!).
I really recommend that you check out The Little Nightmares (1 and 2) video games to review. It's so dark, whimisical, and creepy.
Also, I really recommend the "Berserk" manga by Kentaro Miura. It's long and still unfinshed but the horror is quite amazing. The story is tragically horrifying and the art is amazing. If you live lovecraftian horror, existentialism, and fantasy/horror I highly recommend.
Also considering your love of horror, Junji Ito's manga would be a perfect fit. Especially Uzumaki.
“Return to Oz” is a god among movies.
Oh look, Eric Mabius from The Crow: Salvation… I really hope you cover The Crow series at some point.
Wow, he deleted the video.
Couldn't even stand by your own slander, huh?
I loved resident evil growing up. But im also straight & white
Damn, you must be pretty evil i guess /s
Being white makes you Hitler no? /S
Extinction is by far the worst. Not only is it boring but the entire fucking premis is find Alice... when in re2 they let her go... the same guy who is searching for her in Extinction... let her go
silly billy
This was an unexpected surprise! Like you, I'm a fan of the third Resident Evil movie, in particular, and it was great to hear you recommending Russell Mulcahy's Razorback too. Underrated little gem of a movie!
always great to see a new upload!! love your channel :)
The zombie dogs are also clones lol. Which is why they all look exactly the same
I was and still am a big fan of the Resident Evil movies. I remember being hyped a lot for the Final Chapter. I even bought a physical release as soon as I could which was a rare thing for me.
I 've never felt so betrayed by any fictional media in my life. They completely scrapped the cool idea of friends and foes coming together to fight the ultimate horde, they killed off screen Alice's adopted daughter for the second time and Wesker got ended by a freaking door. On top of they hired a hyperactive 12 year old to do the editing, I can't understand how others are even able to sit through this hot garbage
I don't normally disagree in the form of a comment, but I felt the need to this time. I don't have anything concrete to back up my thoughts, because I don't like these movies either outside of a nostalgic angle. But for whatever reason your suggestions for improving the movies by... making them resemble the games even less really irritated me. From my perspective the problems with these movies arise because they aren't one to one retellings of the game's plot, that's what the fans of the games have been begging Hollywood for since 2002 in the first place. The story diverged too much from its source material, and it's the source material people were interested in in the first place. A well put together and well thought out video, I just have rarely disagreed with a take quite as strongly as I did this one.
Dude is deleting every video that gets comments about his slander on it
I guess we will have to leave a comment on every video :3
As always a great video, thanks for your amazing work
You are my favorite channel on youtube. I love your videos so much!
This final movie had so much follow up potential given how the last movie left things. Having all the cool stuff off screen and in between movies felt sad. The clone thing becomes convoluted very fast. You might throw up from the rapid cuts in the movie too. So many camera cuts!
Jump cuts in fights tries to hide the lack of martial prowess is the given reason.
@@randallbesch2424 yeah. I shouldn't complain like I could do any better.
I think wendigoon would have done a better breakdown.
Finding out that George A Romero watched essentially a Let's Play of Resident Evil is kind of hilarious.
So happy to see new vids from you! This one will make for a nice evening❤
thank you for your work on this! i had to sit and watch this all in one go
Don’t post thumbnails with guns in them, BOY!
I watched this franchise with my brother when I was a child and for some reasons it sticked to me, expecially the esthetics. I even planned a D&D champaign based on the first movie, in which a party of characters wake up, naked and confused about where they are, at the bottom of a white underground citadel infested with undead from which they need to escape. Unfortunately not a lot of people want to play a one shot survival horror adventure.
"Bad Conservative Video Games" when
Alice , Jill Valentine , Chris Redfield ,
these are favorites I really like and I'd like their stories to continue on for long periods on time .
This is crazy…so you mean to tell me that Capcom scraped any and all possible scripts that were actually based on its source material. Then greenlit Paul’s bullshit films…wild stuff. As a longtime RE fan I’m appalled really.
Oh, Resident Evil. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. 1, 2, 3, Code Veronica.
It's always great when someone makes a video essay on a topic I didn't know I wanted to watch. This was thorough without being overly long and uninteresting. I appreciate that you didn't take the easy routes of simply mocking or gushing over the films - your critiques and analysis were fair, logical and balanced. This should help you increase your subscribers and patrons.
One note on audio - I listened to the entire video on ear buds. It was audible, but the voiceover recording could be adjusted in order to give your videos a really crisp, professional quality.
Love your stuff! Great intro.
I would put Cube on several levels above anything in the RE franchise. It has aged quite a bit now and feels somewhat televisual, but remains gloriously nihilistic and effective. More like The Thing - a stripped back horror about paranoia among groups under pressure.
I recently watched a 2 hours long video of all the Resident Evil movies...
Ah shit, here we go again.
To answer your question about the T-Virus its apparently named after the Tyrant. Though the devs when asked about the G-Virus in RE2 said they just picked a random letter, lol.
As a fan of the games, I found I enjoyed the movies more the less they resembled the games. The post apocalyptic psychic powers era was my favourite. They'd just distinctly become their own stupid thing and I love that for them.
Excited to watch this one. Appreciate your hard work
Yowser, what a bizarre series! Honestly, thanks for covering it! Was a fun watch, hahah.
The Resident Evil films feel like the spiritual successors to Cannon Films output in the 80's, Tango and Cash, Over the Top, Rocky IV, and I love them for this very reason.
I don't think Land of the Dead was as bad as people made it out to be, certainly not Romero's best work. But you're definitely right, the first 20 years of his work was the best, and among the best out of all horror directors.
Needing help from men is not a flaw of writing her character. It actually builds to an arc, which makes her interesting. Also, Rodriguez helps her out. So, this argument is more sought after than actually present.
I turned off the video after his leftist ideology became present.
@@gilgamesh310 More or less the same with me. It's a bummer because I like a ton of his original videos, and even some newer ones, but more and more often identity politics are pointlessly being shoehorned into his vids.
@blafoobob8898 I think this was the first of his I've seen. I just find it ridiculous acting like the early 2000s was the 1950s or something like that. The '90s and early 2000s were the best era before identity politics started dominating everything, and video essayist felt the need to virtue signal.
@@gilgamesh310 He rarely went on woke tangents in his earlier work. But even some of his newer stuff keeps it focused on the horror, like his Marble Hornets video.
been a while since i watched the movie but i remember he being very passive and empty during the first movie.
See, when you say "I don't mean to sound racist" you've already lost. But I get it 😂
In all seriousness, I always loved CJ in Apocalypse personally. And was happy that he at least made it into the next film as well. Because we barely even got that in films. He honestly was the least stereotypical character of us compared to the rest. Which is why I loved his character. Plus, come on. That golden gun scene was great. At least for the time it came out.
And even if I disagree doesn't mean I don't love your content. Please keep going man.
i love how you add the RE4 menu music around 58:00 , great editing!
Umbrella investor call, 1995:
"Most of our R&D is focusing on an artificial virus that brings people back from the dead, but not in any good way that you'd actually like, and also it could end the world by accident."
