@arjun Hello idiot. Kerala is the only state that has preserved 3 tantric practices of Shaivism, Vaishnavism, and Shakt ideology alive without having to create communal disharmony within Hindu community or between different religious communities. Muslims were living in Kerala right from the time of Prophet Mohammed. Christians were in Kerala right from the time of Christ. We also have a Jewish population much like in Bengal and Maharashtra. Wanna know why? It is a port and is obviously diverse. We actually have the least number of newly converted. Why? Less conflicts = Less conversion. We went through a rough patch where the upper castes aka my community treated the lower castes inhumanely. The result of which was conversion. But there were also people like Sri Narayana Guru and Kumaran Asan who fought for their freedom to practice Hindu religion without caste baggage. Thank god they did because that led to reform and betterment of Hindu community in Kerala. Meanwhile you people up north wanna know Hanuman's Caste. We are happy coexisting in differences.
@@ashwatimenon5481 you are right about a lot of things except for the origin of Islam and Christianity in kerala. Islam came about due to commercial trading between kerala and the Middle East and Christianity was established by St Thomas the Apostle. As a malayali myself im quite proud of the unity among us that doesn't seem to be common elsewhere in India, but don't spread misinformation like this.
@@backupwhatsup wow that is a really old post. I can't confirm on history but biblical Thomas the Apostle was witness to christ and his resurrection and his visit to india was soon after Christ dies. It is the period of Christ in that version but if you follow the version related to thomas of cana I am sorry but I haven't read much about him to know more than his name. Yes we connected with muslims through trade route, when Cheraman Perumal Tajuddin a hindu king of chera leniage took the voyage to meet the prophet and converts to islam. That's where history of Islam starts in Kerala and you can read it in Keralopathi. But these are legends recorded in biblical and islamic religious texts, so yes the time period of origin would be accurate the exact story won't be.
The sad part is that the video song, which deserves so much of appreciation will remain known to only Malayalees and that too the one's who are following thaikkudam .

@@backupwhatsup you are brain washed by those fucking dirty politics

Can anyone help me with some links where I can get good materials for learning Malayalam??
Pratheesh R Kerala tour was one of the best tour of my life..the beauty of nature is blooming everywhere.
Specially for Munnar..i will never forget this place.
Pratheesh R but you know, this time i want to go in a more prepared way, so the language doesn't not cause any kind of barrier for exploring Munnar.
That's why i was asking suggestion for learning malayalam.

@@soelhossain Malayalam is very hard to learn...The only way is that interact with people..Because slang is varying from district to district..The original word of egg in Malayalam is'Mutta' but we call it motta...So the literature Malayalam is entirely different from our communicative Malayalam...
I didn't understand a single word of this song. But I just simply love this song. Isn't this music all about ! ! ! :)

I am in love with just about everything related to this song! The lyrics are insiping, the music is upbeat, the energy is mesmerising, the cinematography totally took my breathe away, the editing is crisp, and at long last I might just admit that Siddharth is more than just eye candy! You've got it all right here, Thaikkudam. Keep up the great effort. Also, I must admit that with the two concerts that I've attended of yours, your improvement can not just be seen, but heard as well. Proud of ya'll!
Though I'm from a Tamil background .... I love the tune and lyrics a lot .... So nice ....👌👌👌👌👌👌
