the house is way below 15mil. Now just days after filming it reduced to 11mi. My guess at max it took not more than 5mil in total to build the house. after debt it's just over million dollar investment. Also he is a developer and producer But yes LA is overvalued right now and Hollywood too

15M ! Ouch ! Sounds very expensive. Ok there are a lot of nice features, but still... 15M in Hollywood hills... I might be wrong but it looks like those houses from the 50’s he probably bought for less than 2M, then added 2M renovation on it.. let’s say it cost 5M.. He sells for 15M... ok... next ?
ya honestly i wouldnt even pay 500k for that house. Has horrible cheap chain linked fences on the side and you are 5 feet from both neighbors.
i live in a house in LA built in the 50s. this house doesnt look like a 50s house, but you were spot on with the price. with renovations and such its worth about 5 mil. Are you from the area? If not its impressive that you made such an accurate guess
The house is 'Contemporary' not the Mid-Century Modern you'd expect from the '50s Hollywood Hills, and if you look at it in Google Street View (2538 Carmen Crest), you can see it under construction in April 2019. You're going to pay a premium for a house that new. Having the house chock-a-block with its neighbors is common for the Hollywood Hills, but if I had the money, I'd opt for something with a little more breathing room. I do like it, though, and I like its modest size, compared to some of the gigamansions they show.

Crazy that houses go for 5x the value or more because of where they are...a brown hilly overcrowded fireplace that burns every year and adds to the smog making air quality that makes China seem clean and green. Beautiful views of neighbors rooftops. Gotta love it. Michael Adam and Jonetta make for a great vid though.

Saw this house being offered as a rental on Anthony Farrer's (aka The Timepiece Gentleman) channel, and really loved how it looked, it looked so much more livable than some of the enormous spec mansions that are trotted out regulary. Someone pointed out that this episode exists and had to give it a look.

The sensor is common sense and it being a button you need to hold most likely
I think it would crush you : lift has to lift with full force cars up and down, human stuck there is nothing compared to weight of a car.
@@Marshal77 An understandable assumption. I feel that they could probably have fit a sensor between the posts of the lift and the top plate. That way, if there is any weight on the top plate, it won't lift. Not sure if they would have done that given how the lift is designed. They could also put something like radar/sonar sensors in the ceiling or walls to detect the presence of something within a certain distance in front of them. That could be it, after looking at the small square panels they have by each of the lifts on the walls.
