- A compilation of Siskel & Ebert reviewing the films of John Landis
Another one I did 2 years ago and desperately needed an upgrade
Unfortunately no video reviews available for:
Schlock (obviously)
Kentucky Fried Movie
Amazon Women on the Moon
The Stupids
Susan's Plan (aka Dying to Get Rich)
There's no official review of American Werewolf in London, but I found two clips of them discussing it at least
I included Clue because he co-wrote and produced it
Please refrain from antisemitic comments or laboring over the Twilight Zone accident. Both are overly featured on anything Landis related. Nothing you write is going to undo what happened and there's no need to disparage a group of people because of a nightmare accident on a movie set 40+ years ago. Thank you.
Primarily for educational purposes, but enjoy however you see fit!

Here are some other suggestions for future episodes: Ron Howard, Richard Linklater, Mike Nichols, Roland Emmerich, Sydney Pollack, Norman Jewison, Tobe Hooper
Ok ill stop lol
He's made some great films. Classics. But I have always loved "Innocent Blood" the most. Still a fun movie to throw on.
Very underrated. Finally got a decent Blu-ray a few years ago, expected it to gain a bigger following by now!
Landis completely redefined the American comedy film in the 1980s. He deserves far more recognition than he gets.
I *still* wince over Blues Brothers 2000 😔
(The soundtrack is superb though)
Oscar is my favourite from him 👌
I love it too. Very underrated!
have you ever considered doing them by "actor" films of jack nicholson or jim carey?
I'll probably end up doing that at some point. I did a Stallone one early on, but that was because he at least wrote and sometimes directed most of what he's been in
