They completely missed the point of Robocop 2. There was nothing glamorous about the kid in the film. It was meant to depict a futuristic hedonistic society, and how the lack of morals therein has robbed a child of his innocence. Just about everyone, including kids, root for Robocop in the film. How are kids going to identify with a nasty villainous kid, sucked into a world of lowlife scum, who ends up dead? His last moments when he is dying, show that he is a kid who has seen things he never should have seen. If anything, it should be a deterrent against getting involved in that world. @@garagespiders Can't say I blame you! What a crapfest that was.
I paid 2 dollar to see..wanted my time back
Alright, ‘Hylander was a good movie’ I don’t care one anymore else says.
Robocop 2 was kinda a head of its time.
If he thinks beverly cops is full of action I wonder what would he think about john wick, and also some things I heard them say in some reviews, I bet some people today would call them woke ...
Their problem was that it was TOO full of action FOR a movie WITH Eddie Murphy. I disagree, but I get their point.
Siskel and Ebert were reasonably intelligent, but they showed their intellectual limitations in their summary of Robocop 2, blinded by their puritanical outlook.
What they said about Ghostbusters 2, they would have said the same about the Star Wars 7, 8 an 9 be blessed, saved all in Jesus shalom
Oh come on you two. The first "Beverly Hills Cop" movie was damn near perfect.
Tank girl and mary shellys Frankenstein with Deniro are the worst movies ever made.
What? Tank Girl Rules! There is alot worse out there than Frankenstein! But, yea, that one was bad. I remember seeing it in the theatre. I think there was only one movie I ever walked out of and that was a Jet Li movie called "Black Mask" That movie was just pure crap!
Tank Girl was pretty good , but this is about sequels, which it was not.
That Frankenstein movie is easily one of Keanu Reeves' WORST performances (with one of the FAKEST accents I've ever heard!).
@@davidl570you're thinking of Dracula
@@jacksonjacob7791 Dang, that's right! Brain cramp. Thanks for the correction!
Too much action???? It’s an ACTION MOVIE, ya lil girl.
Why are there so many scenes blurred out and NO audio?? Waste of time watching.
Rights issues, most likely. Don't know why - there is such a thing as "fair use."
@johnstucko2740 There is Siskel & Ebert playlist with 800 episodes full length from a Nicholas Vargo. None of them are blurred out and I think I have watched nearly all 800 episodes
Presumably you’re here for the reviews though and not to watch clips from the movies, right? Stupid thing for you to complain about
@@jasonvoorhees-wr7iq Really? I will look it up. Thanks, i've been enjoying these.
Anchorman2 was unwatchable
The worst part of Jaws 3: The Revenge is, you guessed it, Michael Jackoff Caine.
Yeah that Gene Siskel idea for a City Slickers sequel really sucks.
We all like to talk about the „good old days“ of movies when they did honest films with values and shit. But how, i repeat HOW, did they ever get through making something like The Blue Lagoon, nevermind it's second part? Goes to show, Hollywood has always been full of pedophiles and weirdos... allegedly
Siskel must've at some point joined the hair club for men, he's actually more bald the further back the movies were released
This is exactly why I Siskel and Ebert suck the Beverly Hills Cop trilogy is awesome Beverly Hills Cop 3 has his problems but it's still enjoyable Beverly Hills Cop is an action comedy and that's what it was comedians often broaden their and Eddie Murphy was a big reason for that
Nah to Grease 2. Fabulous film.
Gene appears ill during the Lethal Weapon review.
Ghostbuster 2.....nothing like Ghostbusters 1.
