I have 7 sisters, we worry and check on each other constantly. I have one sis in particular who is soo sweet and aloof like Kathy- just flowing through life. You absolutely keep a close eye on those you deeply care about. I’d rather be an annoying sister pestering you then crying after some horrible/tragic event saying shoulda coulda woulda. But that’s just me lol. Kathy doesn’t visibly show that’ she’s upset by it so it’s a non issue in my book.

Kyle has a major complex. That’s why she enables Kim’s addiction while also pretending like she’s the only one helping her. I don’t know if she does it subconsciously but I think she uses keeping family business “private” as an excuse to not face that she’s part of the reason why Kim suffers because it doesn’t go with her sister savior narrative.
I have 7 sisters, we worry and check on each other constantly. I have one sis in particular who is soo sweet and aloof like Kathy- just flowing through life. You absolutely keep a close eye on those you deeply care about. I’d rather be an annoying sister pestering you then crying after some horrible/tragic event saying shoulda coulda woulda. But that’s just me lol. Kathy doesn’t visibly show that’ she’s upset by it so it’s a non issue in my book.

The difference here is, the Richards don’t have that truly close relationship so when Kyle continues to come on tv and paint the picture as they do and then allow others (according to Kim & Kathy) to treat them badly, and criticize everything her sisters do, it comes of cruel and pretentious. How you’re caring for your sisters is not what Kyle is doing here.
@@thetiredfemme3652 ultimately, if Kathy had issues with Kyle she wouldn’t be filming. She doesn’t need the money- so she’s probably doing this strictly for Kyle. Sister relationships are tricky. Kathy is very direct- if she has issues with anything Kyle was doing she would and has spoken up.
Plus we all know their mother was horrible and created an abusive home environment. Some turn to substance abuse- Kim, others become aloof and withdrawn- Kathy and some become people pleasers/fixers- Kyle. Just my observations.

The cookout scene for example...if I was at my brother's or sisters home to have dinner, I would want to know where are the serving utensils napkins butter..Would expect same from them if I were hosting them & hadn't made these items available. Is why my wife does all the utensils plates napkins and such a few hours prior to eating and has salt pepper and butter already sit out at other end of island in preparation for dinner. Kathy wasn't needy, she just wanted to eat...lol
