A busy evening at Didcot Parkway station. I had 2 hours here filming from 16:05 until 18:10, sitting right in the evening peak. Didcot is always a good station for filming, for a great mix of non-stop fast services, plenty of stopping services and good mix of Freight usually thrown in as well. I will never get bored of seeing the endless amounts of HST's Great Western bring out during the peak. At the moment there's also quite a mix match of liveries too. Green sets, mixed with blue + the special livery power cars such as 43002 at the beginning which bought me from London Paddington.
INCLUDES: Great Western HST's, Class 800 (IEP's), 180 Aderlante, 165 & 166 turbos. Cross Country Voyagers passing to/from Oxford direction a Freightliner class 66 & an EWS liveried, DB Schenker class 66.
At 22:11 in the video. This was my first time seeing a class 800 at full speed, 125mph! This was the 15:29 service from Swansea to Paddington seeing flying through on its non stop run from Swindon to Reading. Still on diesel power.
HST's days are numbered in the West Country. So get out there & see them before they good. Soon footage like this will be a rarity unfortunately.
Thanks for watching!

This is a great video. I was looking to see if there were mixed livery trains around privatisation. I was surprised to see the HST in this video.. a class 43 in the old blue and yellow pulling a great western livery train! The speed and sound of the one around 15:00 too! Ace! :)
Another great Video thank you.
outstanding film as always mate, thumbs up from me
Great vid
Very good video.
That wagon at 11:46, still has Railfreight Distribution markings?
Good video as usual. Pity,in my opinion a busy intersection/commuter station has vegetation/grass/bushes growing from it.I wish network rail would smarten up the railway infurstructure and permanent way.If heritage Lines can do it so can network rail.
Great video!
Good video
