Liverpool is really good, several really good free museums and galleries. I really like the World Museum and the Maritime Museum. The Walker Art Gallery is next to the World Museum. And the huge Liverpool cathedral is nearby too. The Museum of Liverpool is just a bit further up from the Maritime Museum . They're all within like a mile radius
Liverpool, or Llynlleifiad as it was known in Welsh, is too often associated only with modern music and as the former British-North American trade hub. The city also boasts the world's largest Anglican cathedral (a little bigger than Washington National), and has been a vibrant - if sometimes somewhat anarchic - multicultural centre for many generations. I never associated the city with beaches, however. Southport, certainly is, but few would think of travelling to Liverpool for a seaside holiday. Your video has enlightened me on a city I haven't seen in person for about 45 years. Thanks again.❤
The next time you are in the area. might I suggest you also go just a little further north to Formby and Southport. If you like the beach at Crosby, you'll love the beach at Formby. It's great for the kids...with an extensive run of truly massive dunes to explore (and roll down), all backed by equally extensive stretches of pine woods. Southport is a popular holiday destination whose lovely main shopping street (Lord St) was apparently the inspiration for the broad boulevards of Paris. It also has a very kids-friendly art gallery/museum...and a food market that I think has a slight edge on the Baltic, much as I like the latter. It's right in the town centre too. Then there's all the Coney Island-type amusements...if you like that kind of thing.
I just have to mention my former home town of Blackpool!..just a hop and a skip from Liverpool, the Illuminations are now lighting up the whole town, and with 3 piers to chose from, ..Hope if not this time you can visit one day..bless your whole family....
Cannot keep up. Your everywhere. Crosby only 8 miles from myself. But never know what country your going to turn up at next. What wonderful experiences for them all.

The way you talk about this city and our great beach is so kind, next time you’re near Crosby beach especially with the family if it’s early go to Caz’s Kitchen on St John’s road as they sell the freshest cakes and treats for everyone, they’re also fairly priced especially for an independent business
It’s so nice to see that you travel the country and show there’s more to the UK than London. Spending so much time in Liverpool when are you going to pick up the accent?
Hi Mack, you guys should check out the south coast we have lots of lovely beaches you'll be surpassed you're in England at times. That beach connected to the Sea, it is on the River Mersey. Oh, and just to let you know that here in the U.K. we DO NOT have Oceans, we have Seas, oh and a Channel.
Every time a Americans see the water, they call it 'The Ocean'. It's a little irritating. I heard someone saying it in Port Mierrion years ago. The tide was out and an American ladies voice said, "Oh does the Ocean come all the way in here?" 🙁
Blame our US educational system... we are only taught ponds, lakes, rivers, and oceans... with a few seas (Caspian, Red, Mediterranean) LOL In general, we aren't taught about British local seas.

For this trip we drove in two vehicles. One US spec and One UK... our US spec car was imported from Europe.
