Hey mate just wanted to say I love your work from here in Brissy Australia! Love the fact you ripped out the EFI and put a good ol Carby on her. With that Lumpy cam and the Carb it’s music to the ears! You play cars very well! 😊 What Carburettor are you running on her if I may ask??
If you have gauze over the pipe you have a very small strainer area it's more likely to block, could you put a pipe adapter that goes up to quite a large size and put gauze over that, ? Could evolve that idea as a simple surge compensator......

I have a similar set up in my HZ, have a VT roller bottom end VN heads, all standard, and 700r auto, have low rise 4 barrel manifold and Holley 650 , good exhaust system, down low and mid range not much torque. wondering what cam you have?

Fuck knows uce can still drive but doesn’t disengage when changing gears n gets stuck in gears sometimes. Was told clutch slave was on way out when chucked da HD in but don’t think they adjusted it when put the HD in. Fuck them anyway lol help me out man I’m in rewa sole il hook u up
They have a hydraulic release bearing bolted to the box.if you have tried bleeding it and no luck box needs to come out and replace that release bearing or could be at the pedal unfortunately to flat out with my own stuff or I would all the best bro cheers 🤙

Yes good idea you have! We do this to all the carb swapped V8s with low pressure pumps never had an issue.
Are you using the factory wiring for the coil? If not how did you wire up your ignition?
