Ayan's love and dedication for brahmastra is next level. But we still want to see him make more movies like wake up Sid, YJHD. If he was not thinking about brahmastra he would have made more movies like that
Fun movies like YJHD were always there. Both before and after Ayan started making films. There r so many film makers who can make these kinds of movies but we have very less number of fantasy films like Brahmastra... Among them, hardly are successful. So, his decision to completely focus on the triology 1st is right. We need more and more successful movies of fantasy and science fiction genre. After completing the triology, if he want, he can make movies like YJHD but not before that as it will delay the Brahmastra triology. U know how many yrs 1st part itself took to make but as Ayan said, now they have the resources and the technology in place, 2nd and 3rd parts will not take that much time.

It doesn't require the kind of training Ayan need to get before making Brahmastra.... For making Brahmastra, he learned the new art of film making... Obviously, YJHD was a unique fun film but we have seen these kinds of movies earlier as well.. Here I m not saying about the story but the GENRE in which YJHD belongs. Now tell, how often u get to see the movies like BRAHMASTRA coming from Indian film industry? We have to wait so many years in order to watch one film like that. I hope, u got my point.
He is right i watched brahmāstra on hotstar on 3rd time and ayan ne logo ko achha VFX and sound experience mile isliye unne 720p ki quality ko bhi 1080p ki quality ka banaya hai taki har koi enjoy kar sake aur last climax me song change hai jab brahmāstra Ranbir hath me leta hai cinema hall me dusra tha overall i am so obsessed with filmmaking and i had admired only two people Christopher Nolan and Ayan Mukherjee and James Cameron's because i also have written a massive cinematic story based on heavy VFX.

No it was just barely did breakeven, it's a semi hit....Not even a actual hit because of high budget. To be called superhit it should crossed have 650 crores
@@light_clover9636 the budget was used throughout the whole trilogy yaar. Like most of the VFX , they're gonna use the rendering and grading again and again. Part 1 was definitely a mega hit. If not for the boycott trend it'd even gross higher.

So let me explain you guys, how industry works, To begin with Any film success at B.O is determined by how much it made in Net not in gross. And how much profits it had brought to distributors first and producers second. In case of Brahmastra distributors took loss in Hindi market itself as Film barely crossed it's budget and producers haven't received any theatrical profits yet. Bahubali part 1 sets entirely used in part 2, the budget is 180crores so if we go by your logic it should not even be 100 crores as the set and VFX is also been used in part2. That's not the case you need to pay to set team, studio or film lands as cost of per day shoot. Part 1 is indeed 410 crores and it net collections are not even 350 crores, it's actually in losses , it's just business strategy that it covers for other parts, if you don't believe just wait for part 2 release you'll see a separate 400 cr budget likewise part 3 too, but this might be risk isiliye to increase film reach they're trying to bring south actors and guest appearances in the film and shoot part 2 and 3 together to not increase the budget as setting up again would cost them more and count the Gross collections combining all parts, now this has never happened in cinema history, as in reality nobody received profits but still they're calling it HIT .A film success should be independently tested not holistically. This might bring hype and reduce losses to producers but what about distributors? It's a brilliant strategy but also half baked one as it's foolish that makers think in this way the film will be titled as hit but in reality it's otherwise. Bro it didn't even breakeven in many parts of North belt. Also ghanta boycott se farak padta he bhai, maybe 5-10 crores but majorly it's based on general audience and neutrals talks and walk in's. And this film received mixed response and performed below average at Box office, yes in loss for 50-60cr. This is fact, Though I'm Ranbir fan...Fact is fact. Hope part 2 actually becomes Blockbuster but for it Ayan needs to work on screenplay, budget constraints, marketing and story too. And I know all this because my uncle owns a theatre, and I'm an insider too :).

Ayan is one of the very talented directors of bollywood...its not easy to execute a movie like Brahmastra with a massive scale. He appears to be humble in this interview.
Finally it will most probably be Ranbir Kapoor who will play Dev in Brahmastra 2, in a new bulked up,muscular physique and long haired and bearded look so that he looks different than the character of Shiva he played in Brahmastra 1. It will be like Prabhas playing Amarendra Bahubali and Mahendra Bahubali in Bahubali Series. Brahmastra 2 will most probably have Ranbir as Dev and Deepika as Amrita. Director Ayan Mukerji will work with the lead pair of his earlier film Yeh Jawani Hain Deewani again.All this specualation about actors like Ranveer,Hrithk,Yash etc....is just a Publicity Game to keep the hype and curiosity alive in the media and among fans.

Just saw it on hulu. Some pros. Many cons. Overall didn't love it but I would watch part 2. The romance angle didn't connect because of being rushed and lack of chemistry between the leads. So it was hard to believe the climax. The vfx were top notch and the action sequences were great. Definitely looking forward to better character development in part 2 along with high octane action and a story rooted in more than just romantic love and sacrifice. Yes and please no Bandar, genda dialogues. TY.

Brahmastra was high on VFX but poor on direction acting dialogues.. Should hv been rooted to India culture. Its a shame actually to see such a credible director not able to deliver high on content. Hope he does better in Part 2

Huh... this is the first time I have complained about pacing in a movie. Maybe because I loved KGF aur uski pacing hadd paar thi.🤣 But I also love Tarkovsky. I think things can be slow, when there is a tension. Really every second feels juiciest.
I actually loved the movie. Vfx was mind blowing. All acted true to character. 11yrs paid off

I just saw the film. I thought it was a very good film. It may not be the best film ever, but the poor work bollywood has been creating lately, I was happy with this product. Quit hating, the film was above average.

Vfx was awesome beyond my imagination .. direction also good but characters are really weak and love story was really irritating .. Best part was srk's role and nagaarjuna's but sadly they were in cameo 😢 .. hope in part 2 they will bring very strong contender for Dev's role and make ali's role cameo 🥴

Just Suggestion, Dev is powerful character then Shiva. So dont cast any actor which will be less than Shiva, you need very good actor for that Role (Ranveer or Hrithik ) to play that character. Because right now no one is near to that character. If there will be battel or clash then you need to see that.

I watched brahmastra its a average movie 10/6 the story is little weak & dialogue also but the vfx is excellent its a great effort of Ayan mukherjee 10/9 vfx hope part 2 is much more better then part 1
