Us old folks are really enjoying it!
Toronto;s Lighthouse would be proud.
This is a master class in live music.
❤️❤️❤️saw them live last year, gonna see them on the Blue cruise in a couple weeks. I am stoked!!!
What's a blue cruise? I think I get the jist of it - but what cruise line... ports... etc?
So did I 😂 they were fabulous ❤❤❤❤ had several hours of awesomeness 🔥🔥🔥👍
I’m loving it 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The cow bell player (Danil) is actually in Los Angeles, not the same studio
Very cool session!
It don’t get any better than this😮😁💥🌹💥excellence ❤️😭🌹❤️🔥
Best cover ever on the iconic song by Lighthouse! This rendition by top tier musicians was delivering an epic performance was unbelievable ro witness ! I have seen this performed many times by Lighthouse a super talented Canadian group from Toronto ! I loved this song and it brought back so many memories of what great music really should sound like. Lighthouse was the Canadian equivalent of the US band called Chicago at the time and they were so revered and respected in Canada that they were voted the best group 3 years running in the 70s in Canada. I want to thank you so much for posting this absolute gem of a performance and it brought back so many grea , great memories of my childhood in Toronto. Keep posting my friend. This was so so wonderful to witness. Sending much thanks and love from Canada 👍🇨🇦❤️
New sub here! Fantastic reaction! Leonid has done a marvel of a job with choosing songs that are perfectly suited to these masterful musicians.Vasili is a powerhouse and this showcases that essence so well.
Thanks for the sub!
Masterclass,,great stuff Uncle Scottie...we appreciate you...Been to 2 concerts & was dancing down the aisles. Can you imagine putting strings with this song? Leonid is the David Foster of russian & now of classic rock too.
Please review their original composition called 'Speck of dust'. There are so many musicians, they even brought in a conductor. From the Bolshoi, no less !!
Their the best 👍🏻
Please look up their former lead singer from Ukraine Serge Tiagnyriadno. Obviously could not remain in the band but an incredible voice.
Simply the best around at the moment. The musicianship stunning. Vasilii due more leads! Danni's playing the cowbell and singing from another studio - in US I think. Pianist Sergey lives in US too now.
Reaction to INTRODUCTION Leonid & Friends cover!
Nice reaction. Leonid and buddies also have some stellar "Steely Dan" covers on UA-cam. Oh, I see you have already found them.
Dani is playing the cowbell in a studio in LA not Moscow. Dani and Sergey (piano) both live in LA now.
We've said that.
This seems like a rerun that I had previously commented on. 🤔
So Scotty....you should give a listen to Leonids cover of Colour my World. The original from Chicago had no horns in it. Leonid wrote the music to add horns to his version and it is freaking amazing to hear.
love the song and leonid and friends. i saw them a few years ago live. they're awesome. the cowbell sounds off to me. a little too fast and a little too loud in my honest opinion. but they're awesome regardless. thanks for posting. i never heard this song before.
Uncle Scotty, Loved It!!! The Youth of today just don't have a Clue!! Of course Our Parents said the same about Us!! Turn that SHIT DOWN!
very funny!
Ok Christopher Walken! Lol!! Listen to their version of “ I’m a Man”!!!! Oh yeah!!!! 🔥
The reason you never knew the name of the band is that they are a Canadien band and that was they're only hit. So not so much exposure in the USA.
Certainly not their only hit in Canada; more than a dozen there from 1969 - '74.
Why are you interrupting the piano solo for crying out loud.
Especially when it gets bluesy.
Lighthouse had a better tune called - TAKE IT SLOW
