The King cobra (Ophiophagus hannah) is the longest venomous snake in the world. It is a very peaceful species, which does not often come into contact with people in its range in southeastern Asia. However, on Bali island in Indonesia, King cobras don't have a lot of space. There are many people and suitable habitats are disappearing. In this case, a female King cobra built its nest on someone's property. The owner wanted to kill it, but the local team of snake rescuers arrived to relocate the snake and the eggs. There used to be a video on this platform of a king cobra nest, where the newly hatched snakes emerged and crawed up into the trees. It was an amazing sight. If you could ever capture this for you channel it would be epic. Thanks for your work guys!

Thank you! They simply use their body coils to bring up bamboo leaves and they form the nest! It is incredible!

I love King Cobras. Did all of the eggs hatch? Any video of the newly born babies? That snake looked healthy.. I was surprised at how calm and relatively relaxed she was around you poking at her nest. How much of a danger did she really pose in the area she was rescued? How nomadic are these snakes? I know that their venom is deadly, but how much of a real danger do these snakes pose to humans? From what I have seen from your videos, it appears to me the only real danger that these snakes offer people is when people do not respect them and then mess with them. I think if this snake had been on my property, I would have just let it be. One last rather disturbing question I have for you. How much pain is there from a King Cobra bite? I heard the bite one time described as being equivalent to that of a kitten. Is this true? Just curious. I know the envenomation is the real problem from a King Cobra bite. Any way. Another truly enjoyable and beautiful video of extraordinary quality. Great job. Great snake.
We also love King cobras! We were informed that most of the eggs hatched and babies were released back to nature. We of course could not spend another month and a half on Bali to film the hatching and release, although we would love to. King cobras are usually very calm snakes. From our point of view, she did not pose a big threat to people who own the property. We saved her from people. If we did not come, the owner would kill the snake and destroy the nest. It would be out of fear but of course this King cobra would be only realistically dangerous if someone would try to harm it... A bite from most snakes (except larger constrictors) is not very painful and does not mean a lot of harm in the bitten area. With venomous snakes the envenomation is the dangerous part of course. I don't know if I'm able to do this, but I would love to suggest a species to highlight. I've been a fan for a long time and my favorite snake is Bungarus Flaviceps, more specifically, Bungarus Flaviceps Baluensis OF mt kinabalu.

I think Indian king cobras are much more bigger in length and size
