Thanks for sharing all this info. We stayed at some of the same places you did, but I am interested in exploring others. When you go back, I highly recommend the Allt-na-Levin Guesthouse in Kinlochleven. It is lovely, right in town, near several good places to eat and right across the street from the little co-op grocery. They serve a full Scottish breakfast and will prepare a sack lunch for you to take the next day since there is no place to buy lunch between Kinlochleven and Fort William.
@@staceyandmollypilgrims I wish I did. Some of the people walking when we did took a bus from Kingshouse to the village of Glencoe where there are more options, then bussed back the next morning. It makes for a little later start, but not too late.
Hi, in stead of Kings House, the Glen Coe mountain ski resort has some pods and micro lodges etc. you do need your own sleeping bag and pillow etc. The one I had was about £70 per night, they also have an excellent restaurant/cafe on site, in my opinion a better option than the very expensive Kings House. Have a look and you can book online for the Glen Coe mountain ski resort, hope this helps, good luck and all the best, regards Chris.

Thanks. I will make a note and book that one next time. Do you know of any reasonable alternative to the King’s House?

Did you use a booking service? My plan is to use such a service, which books accommodations and transfers luggage.
We didn’t, but I might use one next time.
