If I saw that correctly, that was a weather balloon, which doesn't go outside the atmosphere. And if it were possible to get it in space with that balloon, since there is nothing in space, the soundwaves can't move, so it would be impossible to hear it.

No balloon can go into space without a rocket for 2 reasons. Balloons need air so they can float. Balloons can't float in a vacuum And when the balloon gets higher the atmospheric pressure lowers. The balloon will expand and then it will eventually pop. The highest a balloon has reached was about 50 km. Half way to space. There is also a HUGE difference between space and Orbit. Getting to space is alot easier than orbit. The ISS has to go 17,500mph to say in orbit. At 400km where the ISS Is The gravity doesn't just disappear. It's still being affected by 90% gravity compared to sea level. The way it stays in orbit is going sideways not up really fast so when the earth pulls down the satellite missed earth because of it's curvature. It's going so fast sideways it's literally missing the ground.
The piano didn’t go to space, it may have gotten very close but not there because the ballon goes up because it’s lighter than oxygen, without oxygen it’s just going to follow where gravity takes it, maybe not clickbait in your eyes, and honestly not in mine. It’s a huge achievement but not space :)
It’s physically impossible as you can not here sound from space, because the sound waves do not travel meaning that you can’t hear what you play unless you have good memory and practice everyday to get the notes right
They actually played it in the Earth's atmosphere as there is no sound in space. And also to make an object escape from Earth it needs to go at 11.2km/s which requires a lot of energy, and also the mass depends the amount of energy required. Even mini piano requires a lot of energy to escape from Earth, and that costs a lot of money and energy, which I guess they could afford. Still this was amazing they could reach it at the highest point of Earth near the atmosphere and space to make it have sound.
If you want orbit (400km) then u need around 7780m/s, however sub orbital trajectory requires you to pass 100km and come back, so it is cheaper and easier.

The sound can still travel through the matter so we could hear the music even in a full vaccum, since the camera is attached to the piano
